Hotel is convenient to Crocker shopping center. Staff is very pleasant and eager to help.

Poolside room was nice for the kids. Kids eat free, but it seems adults make up the difference. The poolside room we were in seems to have been recently updated, as the furnishings were in good condition. Pool & hot tub were nice size, but not very hot. All in all, about what I'd expect.

Last stay was 20 yr ago and the room is unchanged, save that the window no longer opens (engineered shut) and the air conditioner continuously recirculates stale, musty air. TV is a 20 yr old tube type (fuzzy, dark picture). Mattress saggy, bed springy. Room was clean and bathroom was nice. Complimentary breakfast buffet for Priority Club member and guest was a nice touch, and the food quality was OK, but the buffet was poorly managed - some food was not kept hot, buffet was not sufficiently restocked. Don't make coffee in your room - the complementary coffee in the lobby ranks with the best free hotel coffee ever (high quality recycled paper content cups instead of Styrofoam - kudos!). The location is great, convenient to I-90 and shopping. Room badly in need of refurbishing.

The location is so beautiful and it is close to Crocker Park which is also beautiful. Nice and friendly bar tender. Restraunt nice. This was the first time I have ever had to get more towels, shampoo, soap, etc. In the past when you make a reservation for 3 adults or whatever the supplies are there for that many, this time not. Definatly need to have the ladder into the pool(one close to hot tub) fixed. Too many kids in the hot tub also.

The hotel is great for the money. Indoor pool is good. Full service resturant. Full service bar and when Ron is behind the bar it is a classic type bar. Frequent stayers are treated to a managers reception on Wendesdays. When Holly hosts it is a special event. The property is being upgraded. Great location close to Crocker Square and several great resturants. This hotel has a great homey feel and will still meet any travelers needs. I am on the road 75 to 120 nights a year and this is one of my favorite hotels.

Rooms were nice size. Close to many restaurants.Staff was very quick at check-in and gave alot if ideas for dinner. Nice pool and gamerrom for kids.

The convenience of location to restaurants and family in Avon Lake. The only complaint I have was that the food on the breakfast buffet was not warm. We have stayed at this hotel approximately. Three times in the past five years, have been very comfortable, pleased with the friendliness, helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel in general and of the pool.

At first it looked GREAT, and I suppose it was but there were only 2 bad things. For one the pancakes were as hard as a rock at breakfast! And the last day we were there we were going to swim before we left, so I got in the pool.........IT WAS FULL OF BUGS! NASTY! That was only the last day we were there though it was not like that all weekend! Anyways I loved how the front desk would call and ask if you were settled in the room okay! Plus it was a walking distance away from the Crocker Park Mall. And Bob Evans which I recommend. This hotel is a good place to go with the family.

This was the best hotel visit I have EVER had. My room was not ready when moved was their to register so I was upgraded to a king suite, given breakfast and drinks at the restaraunt with no charge. The service was great. The staff was friendly and made our stay great.

We booked for five days and left the first night. AC had failed in the hallways (90+ degrees). Food trays with food on them that were there the next morning. Two luggage carts in the hall, and two hotel room doors were open. We were next to the vending room which had a bleach-rot smell. The room was small and the bathroom was not clean. When we got the visa bill they forgot to give us a credit (corrected with a phone call). To be fair, maybe they have cleaned up their act and hired some staff.

Good location, easy access to highway. Filthy dirty, things didn't work, lights burned out. The lobby and grounds looked good. Room was dirty; especially the bathroom. Things didn't work and many of the light bulbs were out. TV was very old.

It was close to the city. Easily accessible. Only one towel in bathroom. And didn't seem very clean. I would stay here for a one or two night business trip. Fairly plain and ordinary.

The staff was pleasant. Not enough light in parking lot. We arrived 2 hrs after check in time and still had to wait 50 minutes to get into our room due to the slow moving house keeping staff. The acting manager was polite and helpful. Our children loved the pool and the breakfast buffet had many choices for our picky eaters. Good place to get away for a family.
