Great LocationThis hotel has a perfect location right next to the bus station with the main shops a 5 minute walk away. Room was quite small but very clean and a good shower in the bathroom. Reception staff very polite and helpful.

Best food outside of Paris! Bathroom had a mildew odor. I reserved an Executive Suite and was surprised at how small it was, but then I remembered this was Europe! After a day or so the size of the room didn't matter - I really just needed a place to rest my weary feet. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, but it was the restaurant that was par excellence!

Let's start with Comfort-Noisy, even with the windows shut. Hot, even though they clain to have air conditioning which is locked at 17c. Nasty carpet. Overpriced food at in-house restaurant. Highest price for Internet connection I've ever seen. Parking leaves much to be desired. Average hotel with up-scale prices.

Hotel ReviewI had booked through Laterooms.com, when I arrived to the Holiday Inn they said I had booked a smoking room, I told her I was not given the option via booking online, I was very disappointed, we took her luggage up to the room, as soon as the lift door opened onto the corridor the smell just hit us, we went along to the room and it was the exact same.We went back down to reception and complained, I ended up paying an extra £30 to get upgraded to a non smoking room but with higher standards.I think Laterooms should have a place to click onto when you book to say wether you want smoking or non smoking. The Hotel was really noisey due to traffic and clubs coming out late.

The location was excellent. Close to transportation, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel is ideally situated near the Buchanan Bus Station with connections to Glasgow Airport. It is also close to excellent shopping and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and courteous and I liked the ambiance of the lobby, bar and restaurant. The hotel's French-themed restaurant served excellent food and reasonable prices. I very much enjoyed the street life just outside the hotel; however, the rooms were quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Food pricesDid not eat at the hotel as surrounding restaurants where far more competive with their prices and value for money

The hotel is in an especially good location; near transportation and near all Glasgow city attractions. The rooms are painfully small, with extremely limited closet and drawer space. This hotel is in a great location, which is sometimes hard to find in a city center. It's close to transportation, restaurants and bars, and all the major city attractions. However, if youstay into it, be prepared for extremely small rooms and hardly no storage space.

lovely hotel very well situted. restaurant looked nice but expensive, though there are many places to eat and drink nearby.

The restaurant was very good. No complimentary breakfast like the one at the Holiday Inn Express. We stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in Edinburgh and they had a complimentary breakfast. Why did the Holiday Inn in Glasgow which was a more upscale not offer the same service. Your only option was the high priced restaurant on site.

The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of Glasgow with great shopping and dining experiences located within a few minutes walk of the hotel. No parking directly at the hotel. Must use pay lots nearby.

Really nice hotel & great situation, just wish I'd requested a room with a view as my room faced another building at the back. Apart from that the hotel was great & cosy.

Location and ambience. Parking. The hotel and restaurant were great. The room was a little small compared to US hotels, but it was in very good repair and in an excellent location.

Overnight stayI got a good price on the night of $69. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ordered room service and was surprised and impressed at the excellent quality of the food. Not cheap but worth every penny. Room was excellent and good value.

A little tiredAlthough the overall stay was ok I thought the rooms were a little tired especially the bathroom which was very small. The hotel was busy which meant we could not get a dinner reservation and although looking forward to a glass of wine the bar was busy and seemed to have far too small an area and no seats were available which was very disappointing for the size of the hotel.

I could not beleive that this hotel was classed as a 4 star hotel. The furnishings were outdated and grubby and there was a horrible smell in the room as if someone had been smoking. There was also a funny smell in the hallways

Our room was tiny. The bed was small and extremely hard. Although the room had double glazing, the traffic noise and general street noise was louder than I would have expected.

I was disappointed that I got a double room instead of a twin as requested. As the room was booked 6 weeks in advance I find it unacceptable that I was unable to get my choice of room. There was a lot of street noise until about 4am and therefore did not get much sleep.

Great location, helpful staff although no dedicated car park so you have to use nearby secure facility. Food in restaurant is very good but too poncy for a long stay, thankfully other eateries and cinema nearby within walking distance.

We got a quick booking to attend a wedding and the Hotel fitted the bill. The rooms were comfortable and provided all you needed or anything else at the end of the phone. Because we had our teenage son & daughter with us the receptionist provided us with an adjoining room which was excellent. All in all a hassel free visit. My only negative was the cost of meals, which I felt were a tad expensive so we went elsewhere; we are not all tourists. Having said that I would stay there again.
