I felt that for the price & location of the hotel. we were for the most part satified. we went to see Tina Turner & could just walk from the hotel. the drinks were a little pricey for bad drinks. Otherwise all was well. Need more ventallation in rooms.

The staff was very kind and helpful. No restaurant on site. This is a good hotel for those who need to stay downtown. We needed to be close to Good Samaritan Hospital. We had to find a hotel on short notice. This hotel was helpful and made our need to stay longer than planned easier.

When we checked in fairly late in the evening I discovered that my rate included a car rental for a day. I did not remember asking for a car when I made the reservations over the phone. When I complained a not too friendly staff member informed me that there was nothing that could be done about it.

The Holiday Inn Los Angeles City Center has an extremly pleasant staff. They were very helpful in dinning recommendations and directions. The parking attendants were extremely nice. We were there for the XGames and had a very enjoyable expereince. There are several large hotel hains in that area, but if visiting again, I would certainly choose the Holiday Inn.

The rooms were spacious and free internet access. Air-con was noisy. Overall, this is what I expected for a 3-star hotel. The rooms were pleasantly spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Good work, Holiday Inn! p.s. staff could be more helpful, instead of pushing us around - between the reception and bell desk.

Stayed here during Screenwriting Expo 4. The hotel is literally across the street from the Staples Center and the LA Convention Center, so it made for a great base of operations. I could stop by between seminars, upload lectures to my computer and take a power nap before heading back out. Room was clean and spacious (for a single traveler), staff was friendly. Had breakfast in the dining room, nice if a bit pricey for a breakfast buffet.

Great place to stay for easy access to the fashion district and shopping

The hotel staff should know more about the mass transit they have. When asked the location of the nearest Catholic church and the means to get there, we were told to take a cab. Finding out later in the afternoon that a mass tranist railway could have gotten us there at a fraction of the cab cost!

This hotel is an ""all good"" stay. Good location, Good service, Good price! Whenever I go to LA I'll be staying here!

This was not the top of the line Holiday Inn and it should be. The staff provided timely service but they were not always accurate or friendly. They will help arrange rides and provide wake up calls, even though those calls come in 10-15 minutes later than the request. Two major problems to look out for. The sheets cause skin to become red and chaffed so I would recommend bringing your own pillow cases. Priority Club members do NOT get anything for breakfast and must pay a restaurant fee. They were to give a 5% discount in the restaurant to Priority members but failed to do so until I requested it at checkout. The menu is the same as all other Holiday Inns so you are paying for nothing special. The overall cleanliness could have been up a notch and the amenities in the bathroom were almost nonexistent.

Location to the LA Convention Center. Front desk staff not very sharp, Food was second rate. Great hotel, if you are attending the LA Convention Center. Room was clean but no condisioner in bathroom. No frills!. Food is okay, not great. Parking is $17 a day.

The carpet was extremely dirty with many spots. The first night I found to be a little chilly. The heating system did not go on when I turned it on. I called the desk for help. I was informed that some one would be sent up. No one ever came and I did not call again. On my third night I could not sleep due to the extremely loud blaring of the TV in a room next to my room. I called the desk and asked that someone talk to the occupant of this room. The blaring continued for a long time after my desk call. I finally got up and found a pair of earplugs in my suitcase. Using the earplugs was of some help in sleeping.

I loved the View! You get to see the Hollywood Sign on the hills. Had to pay for parking as a registered guest of $15 a day. Its walking distance from the Staples and Convention Centre. Mins away from the Major attractions through the highways (depending on traffic) You don't even have to leave the hotel room to see the Hollywood sign! The only thing I. didn't like is the parking fee of $15 a day.

I picked this Holiday Inn primarily due to the convenient location to Staples Center. But I found that our stay was very comfortable, valet parking made things very easy, the staff was friendly. The room is pretty standard but had all the comforts we needed, like a comfortable bed and nice pillows! Staples Center is pretty much right across the street so that made it extra easy for us before and after the event. I would stay here again on my next visit to Staples Center!
