Date of Stay:
November, 2007
I had to go to four different floors to find an ice machine that was operational. Enough said.

We were stuck in the room the majority of our stay.. the room was comfortable. That hotel was over run by a convention. The staff/hotel was overbooked and not equipped to handle the crowd. The hotel was hosting some type of convention for spanish speaking Johova's Witness guest. They were packing some rooms up to 8-10 guests. the toilets and sinks were backing up. It would take up to 20min to access the over crowded elevators. The sauna has been out of order for a very long time. The hot tub was shut down due to damage that was caused by over crowding kids and the staffs inability to monitor the occupancy limits. The pool water was too cloudy to attempt swimming. The outdoor sitting area was dirty. I politely let the staff know that the overcrowding was resulting in other guests being rude and irratable. The staff didn't have a solution. The hotel was too over crowded to enjoy the lobby or restraunt/lounge area. We booked the room on the last leg of our vacation to relax before I headed back to work. We literally stayed in our room 90% of the 2days our room was reserved.

I stayed at the hotel in 1991 and was most impressed with the food and culinary staff. Upon my return, horribly dissapointed. As a chef, i expect a staff that cares.

very comfortable stay with very friendly staff

The location was in a central part of the town that we stayed in The hotel was overcrowded and poorly equipped to handle this situation Overall, the stay at the hotel was not to my satisfaction. The room, itself, appeared fine and the bed comfortable. You could not use the elevators because of the crowds that were at the hotel. We had no hot water at all the first day and no shower curtain. The second day, we had no towels or shampoo. It seems that the cleaning staff had taken them. The pool was so crowded that my children refused to swim. We clearly should have stayed somewhere else and had we not paid through priceline ahead of time, we probably would have looked for a different hotel.

Worn carpets in the hallways. Terrible pancakes, worst I've ever tasted. Unpleasant help. Pool and sauna were nice. Room was well kept.

Clean and convenient for my needs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bedding was too firm to the point of, literally, being hard. Didn't offer continental breakfast or even complimentary fruits. Hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful. Beds were not comfortable. But it was clean and spacious.

This was a very nice hotel, conveniently located and very comfortable. It was a great value, too. "

Interior doors gave a better sense of security. Next door to convention center and could hear loud music. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Restaurant was not open throughout the day and had to go somewhere else for a late lunch, closed early in evening and barely got to place a to go order at 8:15 pm. Parking became an issue as there were only a few spaces for the hotel, okay to park on street, but had to move auto B4 8:30 am or was ticketed. Beds and linens comfortable. Sense of security because all doors opened into a central atrium. Small workout room with only a few pieces of equipment. Pool clean and had a rack with towels, kinda got messy & think someone should do some general walk ways to insure safety, etc.

We got put into someone elses room at first, but they immediately fixed the problem. Housekeeping was great about bringing xtra towels and such to our room several times. We will definately stay there again!! :)

Beautiful fountain and quiet rooms. I thought it was pretty nice and excellent view. The staff was very nice.

This facility is adjacent to the Convention Center in Fort Smith, which is a ways off of the interstate. ""Downtown"" is pretty quiet, but safe and pleasant. Rooms open onto a large central atrium with a nice waterfall. The hotel is mostly remodeled, and our room was new. First room we were offered had not been cleaned well, but we were quickly moved to another that was very nice. I would definitely recommend, as this is probably the nicest place in town.

Very friendly, helpful, and clean. Too far from the hospital where I needed to be daily. Clean rooms, friendly staff, eager to please. I felt safe!

Location and staff. I liked it all. Very clean, upscale hotel that is conveniently located near everything in Ft. Smith.

The lobby and they had a pillow menu for those of us who can't use just standard pillows. The pool smelled too much of bleach and they didn't tell us they were holding the prom the same weekend we were there. The lobby is very nice the all two employees we encounters were very friendly and helpful. I only wish they would have told us they would be holding the prom that Saturday night but very pleasant.

It was definitely worth the price negotiated. It was old and had some cleaning issues. Starting to show its wear. Hotel was average, but met our needs. Price was a great deal for the stay. If you are looking for a bargain, you have found it. I could have stayed at another 3 star hotel next door and it was definitely 10 times better in appearance and cleanliness. No free breakfast, but kids do eat free at their small buffet that ran out of food (so go early). Staff was very courteous and helpful. Hotel doesn't have alot luggage carts, so we ended up carrying everything (difficult with 3 small kids). All in all it was a decent and pleasant stay.
