This hotel would be nice (again) if they spent a few dollars for upgrades, etc. Stayed a few years ago and thought it was nice. Not any more. The rooms need an upgrade, the bathrooms are too small, and whether they have cable or satellite tv i wasn't impressed with the choice of programming.

The hotel staff were very responsive and professional. The housekeeping staff did an exceptional job during my stay. For example, during my stay I was not feeling very well and had to stay in bed. They were very accommodating by being cognizant of the usual noise level and ensuring that my room was serviced with little disturbance. They should be commended for their efforts. GREAT JOB!!

My stay was on business. I was there for two days with meetings in the hotel. Bar none, undoubtedly the best bed in all of Chicago. Five different pillows await your approval. Biggest shock was the lunch salad buffet with cooked to order pasta. I was blown away at the freshness and quality. Kudos!! Not a flashy place but a solid choice. Stay with confidence!!

hot tub not working , had to ask for room towels always one short, exercise room a joke, nice desk staff, no book with amenities things to do restaurants, no tv guide, poor selection of tv stations, room ventilation not adequate, motel 6 pillows on the beds

Clean, friendly, helpful, kept upscale, comfortable room. The lobby, elevator and hallway was too hot. Great. I would stay here again. I enjoyed my stay.

"Nice room, great breakfast buffet, nice pool and jacuzzi, complimentary wi-fi internet access. The only complaint was that 4 out of 5 machines in the fitness center were broken. Would stay again!"

Very friendly staff. Overall, a very nice hotel with helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. AC unit was a bit loud, but not really anything to complain about.

I have stayed in the Chicago area quite a few times and have never had a bad room until now. There were hairs on the towels, the stool had to be cleaned and there were a lot of stains on the carpets. The elevator smelled awful, had bare drywall walls that were crumbling and there was writing on the walls. We asked for an item we had forgotten (shaving cream) and they never go to our room with it. Way overpriced for the limited service and dirty rooms.

We were in the area because our son was looking for housing, grad-student at NIU. The location was great between O'Hare & Dekalb. The only thing was we could not input the address in our GPS because it consists of letters and numbers. There are a number of good restaurants in walking distance, which is nice after a long drive. It's also a short drive to the heart of Chicago too.

Stayed here about a year back. The renovations and enhancements that the new management has done are outstanding. Best sleep I have ever had at a hotel. Combined with much improved service, this is major turn around for this hotel.

The location and they do allow you to check in whenever which is a plus. The rooms were a bit on the dirty side, I showered and after walking around with no socks on my feet were very dirty. Location is good, restaurant and breakfast buffet, the staff was great but once again the rooms need to be cleaned alot better.

The location was perfect. Around a lot of restaurants & shopping. The front desk did not always answer the phone when called. No refrigerator in the room for food. The hotel was in the perfect location of all of my needs. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Although, I did find the staff unreachable at times when I tried to call the front desk. Overall, my stay was very nice.
