We arrived before check in time after a 9hr drive. Our room wasn't ready but they were able to give us a comparable room. The staff were very friendly. They greeted you in the hall and at the front desk. Most times my hand were full and they would get an elevator for me.

Pool was clean. Noise. Noise from other guests was brutal. Would not stay here again. Hotel staff did intervene but only after several complaints and hours. Too late to get any good sleep. Staff was friendly the day after but offered no incentive to forget bad stay. Classic example of not intervening soon enough to take care of issue.

Great Value, great locale. Oakville is a quaint little town just about 20 min south of Toronto. Hotel is SO easy to get to from the QEW..and easy to get back on. So close to TO w/o the big city price tag. Rooms very nice and staff pleaseant and efficient.

The service I received at the Holiday Inn Oakville was absolutely amazing. My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago as we had some problems with another hotel in the area and thought we look elsewhere. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was very well presented and clean. We wanted to go to Toronto for the day and the GO Train station was only 2 minutes from the hotel so this made things very easy. If you are looking for a clean/comfortable hotel and want to avoid the Toronto prices I would suggest looking here. We will return again.

They were very accommodating when we asked for a room we had stayed in before. We love the pool. We were looking forward to the hot tub, it wasn't working. The hotel is beautiful, we enjoy sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool. They should make sure that the pool and facilities are fully functional at all times. The staff was very accommodating. There was a problem at check out.

Good location, friendly staff, nice rooms. Rooms are a bit dark. Very good location to go to Toronto, nice rooms which are a bit to dark but big enough with good beds and well equipped You get a bit more then expected for the price you pay. I would say 8 from 10 stars.
