I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is coming to Sacramento! The location of this hotel is extremely nice and convenient! Right next to the hotel is the Westfield mall, and one block away is the Amtrak train station! everything is in walking distance and the hotel price is reasonable and affordable!

Very easy walking access to Mall & Old Town. Nice room but would have liked a refrigerator & bathroom accessories like shampoo, lotions.etc. At least there was coffee & a hair dryer. The towels were wonderful, thick & soft. This was our second stay and will be back. Just a few extras would be nice.

Fantastic, amazing and wonderful! NONE The hotel was among one of the best I have stayed in using Priceline.com. The staff go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. I give a big thumbs up to Georgia at the front desk and to Sam at the bar. Awesome people. Keep up the good work.

The location is wonderful for a family traveling. Walking distance from numerous activities. The hotel staff was pleasant and the room was adequate for a family of four, but not luxurious in any way. Clean and comfortable.

Helpful and friendly staff. My only complaint is that charged me a certain rate then I find out I have to pay additional for parking. It is the amount that I had to pay extra that I'm complaining about. Should include the parking charges in their rate and therefore may turn down some offers. I just feel that I have agreed on a certain amount then that is what I should have to pay.

The Holiday Inn Sacramento-Capitol Plaza was very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and the room was nicely furnished with wireless internet access. Room service was prompt and the food was good. There is a huge mall next door, offering shopping and several restaurants.

A/C broke two times, both rooms. VERY LOUD freeway noise, no matter which floor you are on. Rooms not cleaned very well at all. Yuck! Try another hotel close by.

This hotel is located within walking distance of Old Town Sacramento and the mall. The neighborhood changes at night, so be careful about evening excursions beyond the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and well maintained, but the mattress was not very comfortable. I will stay here again in the future and I will be glad to recommend this hotel to all my friend and coworkers!

Had plans for old town sacramento for new years so this location seemed perfect. Walking distance to Westfield Mall (with a Hard Rock Cafe) for variety of shopping and walking distance to old sacramento for another great variety of food and shopping.

"The easy walking distance to Old Sacramento, the mall, the capitol, and AAA baseball make it ideal for business travelers looking to unwind at the end of the day. Great rooms, and even better staff. Parking could be better, but overall, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sacramento. "

"This hotel is an ace. I've stayed twice. Staff is excellent. Facility nice. Rooms spacious and clean. The only bummer is the bums outside of the Mall between the mall and capitol. Ignore them, and they will leave you in peace.l"

"Service was excellent. Clean rooms. We enjoyed the pool. My request for small refrigerator was accommodated immediately. Mall and old town is a walking distance from hotel. However, hotel is located near the highway. At night, car noise was unbearable. Had to run air conditioner all night to be able to sleep."

Clean and quiet. Staff were polite. Lights were dim in the room. Parking was $12-15 per night. Very pleased with the overall experience.
