The balcony and the view! My experience was wonderful at the hotel. It was nice and clean and my room was a suite, and it was very nice and big. The view from my balcony was awesome overlooking the water. I would definitely want to stay at this location again.

A strong smell of smoke, being non smokers we felt this was very poor, when we returned from our day out, our room was in the middle of being serviced which was quite late, which was disappointing having to wait for the maid to finish, it must have been 6pm when we got back

Desk staff were very helpful--room was good with good thermostat for temp control--great view of Capt Cook Bay and the ocean beyond--we'll stay there again when we return to Cairns--close to many good restaurants

The location is great! Very close to the beach and shopping. Rooms and beds are small. The bathroom is quite inadequate for 4 adults. I would not recommend this hotel if you are trying to have 4 adults stay in the same room. The room and bathroom are much too small.

It was near the main shopping and restaurant areas and beach. Construction going on next - noise early in the morning (6 a.m.) The hotel was nice overall, beds not very firm though. Laundry available and convenient - very handy! Bathroom is very small, but workable as long as only one person in it. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. I would return if in the area again.

Walking distance to city center, safe & clean, known brand. Reception staff (when bell man not around) can be a bit more helpful with information on what to do. Location: walking distance to center of attraction. Much better location than hotel Mercure which I was considering. Room: Clean and safe (with safe deposit box in room). Grocery stores and night markets are very close-by.

The hotel provides reliable airport transfers. Twice, when we have checked in late at night they have given us rooms without the proper bedding that we requested, i.e.,2 doubles instead of king/extra. We have stayed here about 20 times. We usually get room with breakfast. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly. The pool area needs an upgrade.
