The reservation received by the hotel was incorrect (so they said), put us in a smoking room, with wrong bed configuration. Registration staff grudgingly gave us a non-smoking room - still not with bed configuration made during reservation. King bed was worst I ever slept on (should have been recycled years ago). Sofa bed couldn't be open by two men. Staff person who brought extra towels and blanket should leave his bad attitude outside. Registration staff are helpful, but this place is not being kept up.

Can't think of a thing Poor service, broken AC, smoking when I specified non-smoking I've never done a review on anything, but this place was so bad I couldn't not report it. I stayed there overnight during a 2 day charity walk. The front desk first tried to assign me to a smoking room. When I caught the error, they were surly. Then they assigned me to a room right on the noisy pool. When I asked to be moved because I expected to go to sleep early, they said they didn't have any other rooms. When the AC failed to work, they sent the hotel handyman, who told me it was broken. When I went to the front desk to find out what we were going to do, the handy man was standing right there. The manager, not know I had already spoken with the handy man, told me they would send him to my room to fix it. When I said I knew he had already seen the unit and said it couldn't be fixed, he got curt, having been caught in a lie. He then suddenly found anotehr room for me, which hadn't been available just moments before when I asked to be moved off the pool. It was across the lobby (where missing / broken ceiling tiles littered the floor and buckets were catching a steady stream of drips of who knows what from the ceiling), up the elevator (broken), and turned out to be a smoking room. I was so exhasuted and disgusted that I just accepted the new room without comment. My husband and kids went to the pool. The water was so cloudy you could not even see the bottom, and we eventually decided it wasn't clean enough to swim in. This place is a DUMP.

I stayed because I was attending a function there the next day. The staff were very helpful and the interior entrance was inviting. My roon appered to be clean, if not dated.(The coffee caraf was chipped and there are no bedspreads on the beds. So if you like the weight of a blanket when you sleep....) I was put off by the fact there was a towel drying on the back of the bathroom door when I went to use the bathroom. Made me second guess the rest of the room's cleanliness. But as I said, it appeared very good when I first walked in. Be sure to check the functions that will be taking place that evening. They will be listed all over and esp. in the elevator. I had a wedding and a reunion the night I was there. By midnight there were loud people/drunk hanging in the hall way and by1:30 AM I was calling the front desk to get them to do something. As I see it, the guests are not the hotels fault and within 5 minutes, the hotel had done something about it. I found everyone I encountered to be pleasant and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located to many attractions and very easy to find. I was concerned that there were signs posted all over the parking lot that they are not responcible for damaged or looted cars-the Inn is located across from a run down mall that they are refurbishing. All in all I got what I paid for. I don't plan on returning as my function was a one-tine thing. The pool area was very nice and the food was decent.

We arrived to a dance party in the lobby, and housekeeping vacuuming on our floor at 12:30 AM. The hall way was strewn with trash and sheets, even a refridgerator. We were awakened at 6:03AM on the first morning to an alarm clock in the adjoining room which did not go off for 2 hours. We called the front desk 4 times to ask them to shut it off, but with no response (even after promises to take care of it). Later that day we asked to physically go with them to the room and make sure the alarm was off. We were told this was not possible, but that the head of housekeeping would be notified and it would be taken care of. Awakened again at 6:03 the second morning. We called the front desk and were told it would be taken care of. Ten minutes later, it was still going off. My husband had to go ask for the key from the front desk and turn it off himself! We were able to tell our story to the nice receptionist on our way our and she offered us a complementary breakfast, but said she could not offer a refund since we paid the travel website and not the hotel directly. On a better note, inside the room was great. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were lots of pillows. However, It's hard to be truly comfortable in a place that seems to not care about its guests. We would definitely not stay again.

Attended NCAA lax tournament over Memorial Day weekend. The hotel was right off the highway and about 20 25 minutes to the stadium. Location was great with lots of restaurants and retail stores close by. Room was clean but not well supplied with pillows and towels. The needed items were eventually supplied after a little bit of a wait. Staff was friendly.

This hotel has much potential. But it has need of up dating the interior of the halls rooms and elevators. The room we rented was a non smoking room and it smelled of stale cigars. The room was suppose to have a refrigerator and did not. We were located on the second floor and the vending machines and the ice machine did not work. We were there for family day at our sons college and as such we were only there to sleepThe staff we met were very nice and polite to us, but I did over here another person checking in being told that thier room was not ready "check in time is at three pm" this being four thirty in the afternoon. unfortunately we will most likely not stay here again Richard White

Needed a place to stay while looking at colleges in the Rhode Island/Boston area and this seemed to fit the bill. Booked the room with the king/sofa bed since we were traveling with 2 teens. Also asked for a roll away just in case the sofa bed wasn't enough. Arrived at 4:30pm and check-in took all of 2 minutes. Staff was friendly and the roll away was already in the room. We got a room on the opposite side of the building from the highway and it was very quiet. The hotel is adjacent to the Brockton Mall which was very convenient. Overall, we spent one night , the room was clean, staff was friendly, beds were comfortable and we got a good night's sleep.

This was a great hotel for a business trip that I had, I was there for almost 3 weeks. The staff was friendly the rooms had recently been redone and the location is great. There is a mall across the street and at least 4-5 restaurants within walking distance. The mall, restaurants and bowling alley right next door made a long business trip go by quickly.

The front desk staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the check-out time of noon was great considering the late night at the game. Would use again.

When he was finished checking me in I had to add if they had a breakfast and what time it started, he said A?. yes?at 6:30. I had to come back to ask him where the elevator was because he never told me, then when I asked he looked at me like I was an idiot; How was I supposed to know that I had to walk all the way down and pass all of the room on the first floor to get to an elevator- no signs were posted. Then by the time I found my room, I found a group of outlets, this group appeared to be the only outlets that I could use in the room, which is fine. But in order to use the outlets I needed to jiggle the box, it appeared to have some kind of short in it. Also, if I shut the light off that was connected to the box, the power doesn?t work then. Since I had to charge my laptop and my cell phone, I had to try to sleep with this bright light on the whole night. When I was trying to get ready in the morning I noticed that my blow dry wasn?t working. I called the front desk to ask for a blow dryer to be sent up and my response was it would be a long time, he said that he didn?t have time to come up right now. I asked if I could just go down stairs and pick on up, he then said hold on. After checking he said that they had no blow dryers. I explained the I was getting ready for work and that I will be leaving for work in less than 30 minutes. He said that I am just going to have to ?Hold ON?. I had to leave for my training session that I flew into town to teach with nappy looking hair. The level of service I have received at this Holiday Inn has been the worst. From rude personal who don?t care to amenity?s not work right

The staff was friendly. I was pleased to see the bed linens and bed spreads were very clean. Although my room was a non-smoking room, the smell of cigarettes was still apparent in the room.

This is a well-run hotel. Good staff. It is within easy walking distance of several really good restaurants, a shopping mall and stores you migh need while traveling. Nice pool. Poor exercise room. Access to interstate is very easy.

The Holiday Inn Boston-Brockton was unfortunately on the lower end of hotels I woudl want to choose to stay. The general tiyness, comfort and staff was not up to the usual Holiday Inn standard and consequently did not sleep well or feel at ease staying ion teh room for any amount of time. It also had a smell of smoke despite the fact it was meant to be non-smoking. The location was fine, easy to access the highway into Boston and a short walk to a local mall
