I recently visited Boston, back in May and I cant express how grateful I was to the hotel staff, particularly [...] from the front desk.I made my reservations through Orbitz.com. I always use this website and as always when I arrive at check in, whether at an airport or hotel, my reservations are always in order.I am moving to Boston in August and from the moment my father and I arrived at the hotel to check in [...] was extremely helpful. She was bright, energetic, friendly, conversational, professional, and very informative. (I have never experienced such amazing customer service.) She gave us maps and the "inside scoop" on how to get around town. She was also very helpful in giving us information about how to contact real estate brokers and where to look for an apartment in the city. She went out of her way to accommodate our room needs, and she never forgot us throughout our stay. Through our conversation, I learned that she too was from South Florida and she immediately told me what I would need to do to survive my first Boston winter. That was very nice of her considering that it is my biggest concern about living in Boston.I rarely take the time to write about my hotel stay or their staff, but in this case I felt that the praise was deserved. I also want to say that the cleaning staff, restaurant staff, and all other staff members were exceptional at their jobs. The cleaning staff was always considerate of our towel needs, our departure times, and making sure that the room was in tip top shape after a long day in Boston. I also felt that the breakfast, although around 8 to 15 dollars a day, depending on how hungry you were, was great. Furthermore, I cant say how much I appreciate the FREE Internet service. It was such a life saver while I was looking for apartments online and great places to eat dinner. It was nice to see that the hotel didn't charge for something as simple as Internet. The HOTEL STAFF MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I had never been to Boston, and h

Internet access. Average. The hotel was average, good location, andreasonably priced.

The hotel is in a great location. Easy walking to restuarants, T-train stop was 1 block away. We tried to have room service, the room's information book stated that room service was available until 9:45pm. Called at 9:15pm didn't get any answer. Didn't get any answer from the front desk either, when I went to the front desk to inquire, they stated that it was only available until 9pm. Not everyone at the front desk was helpful this might be do to the fact that they seem to be understaffed at the front desk. My calls to the front desk was only answered once. The hair dryer in the room didn't work. The room was clean, the bed was okay. We were near the indoor pool, but it was quieter than I had expected.

Hotel has a beautiful atrium. Our room air conditioner was broken. The layout of this hotel is so unique from any other Holiday in we have stayed at. Taxis are readily available and make it easy to get to your destination. Unfortunately, the pool malfunctioned and had to be closed. The pool is the main reason I picked this location. The staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.

Easy public transportation to downtown Boston. Many hotel rooms are difficult to get to and atmosphere is not particularly pleasant. An older hotel building with an uncomfortable layout. Conveniently located close to an MTA stop with a swimming pool, but with a tired decor.

We found this hotel clean, comfortable, and the staff responsive, however...............don't plan on getting any sleep!! The hotel has an inner courtyard which houses the restaurant and is topped by an atrium. This creates amazing acoustics!!! What I initially thought were a series of firecrackers being set off as I was trying to sleep turned out to be table ware being put away in the kitchen. At 5 a.m. what appeared to be crashes of intense thunder were pots being put on counters. What seemed to be a hoard of 50 unruly children under my bed was two tots playing quietly under a table. No joke! It's worth visiting to see the effect just don't try to spend a night there! On our second night we were transferred to an outer facing room right over the entrance (i.e., hearty laughter of bar customers leaving late at night, noisy exit of those with very early morning flights). While extremely noisy this was actually better.Given all this to deal with, the peeling paint and wallpaper seemed trivial!

We went to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. The location is great for Fenway and easy to get to everything with the T stop right out the front door. We were able to get down to Quincy Market and do some shopping and had plenty of time to get back to the hotel and then go to the game. The hotel is very nice and the staff very courteous and helpful.

It was located on the Green Line very convenient. Parking was $18. The rooms were good sized, pretty quiet, and had a coffee maker plus coffee in the lobby. The doors opened on the inside of the building, with some actually having the windows on the inside, similar to a covered street, and solid wall on the outside. This made it very quiet so we did not have street noise at all.

Stayed one night during visits to colleges in the area. Hotel is right on the T - train to Boston and close walking distance to tons of nice shops and restaurants in Brookline. Pool was a bit small.

The room was recently renovated - not a bad job and it was very clean. You can't make a new hotel out of an old holidome, but they did a nice job on the renovation. We stayed in the tower section and it was very convenient. T line was across the street and a great restaurant there also. Breakfast buffett was good and reasonably priced with good service. Evening lounge was well run and not noisy. Overall, a nice stay and good service. Staff is very friendly and the business center has brand new computers and they work great. Wireless internet was free and worked very well. I would recommend this hotel to business or vacation travelers. Double beds are a little tight for two, but still comfortable.

We were in town for a concert at Fenway and couldn't have had a better location for what we paid for. The only thing missing was that it did not say that we had to pay for parking when we registered through Orbitz. However, at $18 a night it was rather reasonable. The staff was super friendly and the food selection in the immediate area was seemingly endless. I will definitely stay there again!

Location. Cleanliness of room, and Floor. Horrific odor. Cleanliness of room and floor. Horrific Odor, and staff was transparently concerned to correct. Had to call 4 times, vending machine did not accept paper money. Front desk would not make change.

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The internet connection did not reach my room lost 2 days of work. Great hotel and location, friendly staff but wireless connection is terrible. Do not go if you need to get work done unless you want to be waiting to use the computer and printer every time.

My boyfriend and I are huge Red Sox fans and the locality to Fenway is super convienent. Whether we walk the mile or take the T right across the street. It's also nice to be so close yet just outside the city. The king size bed was sooo comfortable!

Convenient to colleges in area. I did not like to pay for parking. Although we like this hotel and find it very convenient when we visit Boston University, it is not worth the cost for a night. The room is average and parking is extra.

Stayed for just one night but wouldn't have minded a few more. Very nice room, quiet but no view as the windows open towards a large indoors hall. Green Line C subway stop St. Paul Street right in front of the hotel. Free wireless although not terribly fast. All in all, very good value for the price.

A decent hotel for Boston in a good location for Fenway Park. Either a $5 cab ride, taking the T or an easy walk on a nice scenic route.
