Hotel has a connected indoor/outdoor pool that makes it a small adventure for kids and adults alike. The inside lobby, pool, karaoke bar and dining area combine to make one large area that is viewable from many guest rooms. This setup makes it inviting to come out of your room and actually enjoy the lively atmosphere of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, especially our three year old.

Roomswere clean and comfortable. The staffwas very helpful and courteous.

Just off I-26 and I-40, this hotel has been completely updated. Family enjoyed the heated pool. Had entertainment the night we stayed in their lounge. Buffet a deal at $6.95. Will definitely stay here on the way back through town.

This hotel provided the most comfortable bed I have slept in at any hotel. They also offered a variety of different pillows for my specific tastes at no additional charge. The indoor pool extended outside to offer its guests a choice, and the hot pool was very relaxing. Hotel employees were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and up to date. After staying here, I am afraid I may be overly critical of other hotels in this price range. I will definitely stay at Holiday Inn during future trips.

Nice, modern, convenient hotel located 5 minutes by car from the Biltomore.

Location and modern decor was very nice. The service and friendliness of the staff is poor. Great hotel, convenient location but Holiday Inn needs to do more than a facelift to gain back some of the market share that they have lost to competitors. The service was seriously lacking. Probably the worst I've ever experienced as a frequent traveler. But it isn't just this hotel. We stayed at another Holiday Inn in another city and it was the same situation; nice property, poor customer service.

This hotel would have been perfect except for the noise. The room we were in and several others faced the lobby and direct from the lobby is the lounge where they have karoke until about midnight. If you are a person that likes to party while away then this will not be a problem. Other than that the room was great. It was very clean and roomy. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and responsive.

Hotel was great, clean and staff was very helpful with printed directions to places of interest. The restaurant had good meals and prices were reasonable. Will stay there again.

The kitchen staff went out of their way to help me prepare a special cake for my son's birthday during my visit to his camp. Their display of hospitality will not be forgotten by us.

The staff was fantastic in every way. Same for the hotel.

Stayed over for business reasons and selected hotel for convenience to Crest Center. I was pleased with the convenience to downtown via Patton Avenue and the ambiance of the hotel. The 5-story atrium and indoor pool were a real treat. Room was well decorated and comfortable. The breakfast buffet being included was a nice surprise. I will definitely stay there on all future trips to Asheville. August 2008

Although the remodeling was supposed to be finished by mid-June, it wasn't even close to done at the time of our stay--the lobby/atrium was pretty much a construction site. Still, the pool was open (and very active). The room we had was comfortable and clean, though the decor was garish. Breakfast was good but not free. The location, next to major highways, is really convenient. By the time I come back I hope the renovation's done!

This Holiday Inn was one of the best Holiday Inn's that I ever stayed in. I would definitely consider staying again on my next visit to Asheville.

Convenient location to Asheville area. View from room. $25 charge for incidentals which I did not use. Located for easy access to I-26 & I-40. Fireplace in lobby not working. Dingy pool.

The renovation was supposed to be finished by mid-June but wasn't even close. Nevertheless, the room was spacious and comfortable and the atrium pool was open (and very lively--glad we weren't staying too near it). Breakfast was tasty but not included. Location is very convenient to all major sights in the area.

Everything was good about this hotel. Good facilities, warm indoor pool, clean comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant ( a surprise as it was in a hotel) Best place we stayed at a nine day trip to Florida and back, and better than Hyatt Regency the night before.

Room opened to atrium with pool - very noisy. Impossible to sleep in or go to bed early. Hot tub broken. Staff very helpful - room big, bug in the bathroom. No free breakfast. About 10 minutes from downtown. Free wi-fi, mini-fridge both pluses.

It was very clean and quiet. It was difficult to turn left when leaving the hotel.

I found this hotel to be in the perfect place, at the perfect time. This was a stopover for me, on my way to another state. I was tired, hungry, and ready to rest, so was REALLY glad to arrive. I didn't want to leave for dinner, or do anything but relax, and this was an excellent place for doing just that. I had dinner in the lounge area, where the bartender was attentive and helpful, and really enjoyed myself. The bed was very comfortable, and I rested well, able to get up the next morning and continue my journey, rejuvenated.
