Excellent service & value - I would choose this site again. No problems encountered; check-in and check-out went smoothly. Room was well appointed and quiet.

This is an excellent value in today's market. The inn was well-equipped to cater to the traveler, the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. The staff was responsive and friendly. A newspaper was delivered to one's door each morning. Rooms had refrigerators and microwaves too.

The staff was very friendly & helpfull. The room was very nice & clean. Had a problem that the shower didn't drain well, I told the main desk & it was taken care of before we returned from our outing. Food was excellent in the restaurent. The pool area was taken care of verry well. Nice outdoor furniture around the pool was like new & towels were available pool side. They had music playing at pool side, a nice touch. The views out the front of the hotel was beautiful of the mountians. We would definatly stay here again.

This Holiday Inn is an older property, but was in reasonably good condition. It was November, so the pool facilities were not available. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. The biggest drawback was that the 2nd floor corridor reeked of cigarette smoke throughout our stay. Our room was a non-smoking room and did not have cigarette odor. But although the 2nd floor was indicated as a non-smoking floor, the corridor was heavy with cigarette odor. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the wireless Internet service was definitely a big plus. We obviously did not get a good understanding of where the hotel was located and we were disappointed at the outlying area. But it not that bad, and it was our fault for not checking more closely.

Extremely friendly staff. Parking was bad due to repairs.

The hotel was great--service was wonderful, proximity to Biltmore is very good (primary purpose for our trip). The hotel is clean as a whistle; our room was even close to the elevators/vending machine area and we heard nothing all night. Bed was fantastic, comparable to Westin's beds. Furnishings/bathroom were up to date; no depressing decorating here! We will definitely return.

Great staff, clean rooms, quiet environment, nice pool, good Italian eating

Room was clean, restaurant on site was very good, staff was pleasant, but the pool was another story ... it is located right off the highway with a busy road below the pool area - the traffic was so loud I could not enjoy my book or our time poolside - we lasted about 15 minutes and returned to our room. Thank goodness we only booked a one-night stay. Hotel is ok if you are using it as a one-night drive through or you are on business but not a place to stay if you are vacationing in Asheville. Very disappointed.

Room had a microwave and fridge. Buzzy carpet and expensive hotel restaurant without free breakfast buffet. Decent hotel. Clean rooms and nice lobby. Would go back again. Close to the express way and easy to find.

Great Hotel!! To start with the grounds of the hotel are fabulously landscaped. Then you walk into the lobby and it is beautiful and the staff friendly, knowledgable and professional, adds wonderfully to the ambiance of the country charm. The country charm moves then to the rooms which were very comfortable and clean. The Italian restaurant had great food at a good price. I would highly recommend this hotel to any group of traveler. I felt at home and safe at this property. Thank you for a great stay.

The Holiday Inn Asheville-Biltmore was very comfortable. I have two chldren and they had plenty to do to keep themselves bsy during our down time. Between swimming the gym and board games available they had plenty to do. They offered wonderful cookies baked every evening evening when we returned to the hotel for the guest. I highly recommend this hotel for families.

Lots of people had dogs, so if you like to travel with your dog this is the hotel for you. Seemed older, did not like the stand up shower (seemed campy). Ok, I'd say it was more like a 2.5 star, older, but nice pool and location.

We stayed here for five days in May, 2006, and were extremely pleased with our stay. Our room was bigger than most in this price range(which was exceptional), the hotel was quiet and housekeeping first rate. I would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

This hotel was one of the better Holiday Inns that I have stayed at over the years. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked well (shower pressure was a bit too low). The best part of our stay was that while the hotel was pretty full for most of our stay, it remained quite. Could have just been the quality of the tenants or the quality of the rooms, but it was nice to be able to sleep at night without hearing your neighbors.

Convenience. Too much light in the room at night from other businesses.

We checked in only to find that someone had used the room and been relocated leaving a mussed bed and dirty wash rags in the bath. Could not believe that a supposedly classy place would charge for high speed internet connection. Had better service for a lot less in other stops on our trip.

We thought breakfast was continental or free only to be surprised with a bill for $30+.

Very convenient to VA Hospital and Interstate 40. Very noisy, AC fan went on and off all night.

Very friendly and convenient. Actually there was nothing that I didn't like. Hotel was in good location and easy access.
