After standing waiting for the airport shuttle and watching other hotels' buses drive by more than once, I was frustrated. The desk clerk seemed to be doing me a favor by checking me in. A lamp in my room was burned out, and there was mold growing in the bathtub area. The kicker was a cockroach crawling out from between cushions of our seats at breakfast, and we weren't offered any concessions despite complaining to both the waitress and the front desk. I will never stay in this hotel, and will carefully check reviews for all Holiday Inns after this experience.

When I stayed in the Holiday Inn in Baltimore, I opened the phonebook to get a number for a local restauraunt, out popped a used condom and wrapper. Very unsanitary. When I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Seaford Delaware, my room was not cleaned. I had to request for it to be cleaned. When I went down to the front desk, because their soda machine ripped me off, there was no one at the fron desk. After 1/2 of waiting for someone to appear, the story I got was she was sorry, they work that late with a skeleton crew, and she had a terrible tooth ache and she was busy delivering newspapers to each door! HUH?

Location and price were good. Front desk staff was not helpful, hot-to-cold-to-hot showers were greatly disliked. This is an old hotel that recently had a lot of cosmetic work done to make it look more modern and updated, including flat-screen TVs in the bedrooms. The non-cosmetic items are still big problems. The water temperature in the showers fluctuate wildly (and quickly) from hot to cold, and the beds are very uncomfortable and feel like they have not been replaced in several years.

It is clear this hotel is well-visited, by the wear of the room. But, it was nice and clean and the staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options and my colleague and I enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant - the quality of food was much better than I expected. The bartender, Lou, was friendly and gave us good ideas for seeing the city while we were in town. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends - the nearby light rail took us straight into the city, but we were in a quiet area, even though the hotel is almost adjacent to the airport. I look forward to another good experience on my next trip to Baltimore. Thank you.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn. I can't tell you the last time I've been in one, and this one is nice with large, updated rooms and super comfy beds. My only grip was the 3pm check in time. Seems really late.

Interior was recently renovated, nice linens, shower, etc. and is in close to the BWI Airport, offering free shuttles. The shuttle service was great headed to the airport, it was not as prompt to pick us up though. We did not spend a great deal of time in this hotel, but did find the rooms to be updated and of good quality. Very clean and friendly!

For the most part it was pleasant, no bugs around. I slept well, however fier alarms went off and I had to leave out of the hotel in my PJ's - false alarm and constant knocks at door and phone calls asking when am I checking out! Very disturbing!

Good location, attractive landscaping, clean attractive room, well maintained pool, very helpful staff. Seemed to be under renovation in some areas. We were very pleased with the hotel and staff. The staff was very helpful and our room was nicely furnished and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to either family or business travelers.

Not worth the money. Rooms are VERY tired, dingy, dark and dated. No temp controls in room. Took two calls to fix multiple broken lights. Mold on a/c unit, seven large black water stains on ceiling. The ?sitting area? has only a desk and two chairs (one with stains and holes), no sofa or table. Front desk next to open-air bar polluting tiny lobby w/ cigarette smoke. Lots of ""satisfaction guaranteed"" signs, but NO attempts to fix problems, just ""I'm sorry, we're trying"". I had to scramble to find four different hotels for the rest of a three week stay.

Nothing within walking distance. You were held to the mercy of their shop, bar, restaurant and prices. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet, but I had a drain in the shower that didn't drain and flooded the bathroom. This happened all three mornings. I called every morning to tell them it wasn't draining. The menu button on the remote didn't work. Room service was rediculously slow. It took an hour and twenty minutes(two nights I ordered room service so they had two chances to impress me) to bring me a simple Quesadilla and that was at 8:00 PM. I didn't receive it until almost 9:30 PM. The bartender served drinks by the book, a shot was 1.5 ounces, period. Even Happy Hour prices were high. $10.13 for a shot and a beer. Yes the room itself was nice. Yes the staff was polite. Yes it had a shuttle to the airport. But that will not be enough for me to stay there again.

The update rooms are modern and very spacious. This was my first time staying in a Holiday Inn. The rooms were much more than I expected. I love the modern style and space of the rooms. I would definitely stay here again.
