Super place ...will highly reccommend to friends...staff very helpful and accomadating...excellant service...could not have ask for better place ...room always clean...Carlos, a waiter in the restaraunt downstairs very helpful ...but then all the staff were...will consider in the future!!!!!!!

Hotel just remodled located in central San Jose Downtown close to the muesems. The resturants are great I even had thanksgiving dinner there. Internet cafes are located all around San Jose. Night life is ok but as with any big city use caution. Carefule the hotel will charge extra for another adult if you do not specify they are your significant other, the hotel does this to keep prostitution out of its business. The hotel does provide great day trips and activities around the country. I was so impressed I am having my wedding reception there in the 14th floor ball room over looking the city. Recomend all my guess from the US to stay there.

Staff was super friendly and very professional always ask if they could help or recommend anything. Overall the visit was great will definetely recommend friends very lovely hotel.

This place was horrible. It was a scary experience. The formal restaurant had a few critters crawling around, which made me sick to my stomach. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The bathroom toilet did not flush and the shower had freezing cold water. The air conditioner did not work properly. You could not adjust the temperature, you had to deal with either a freezing room or a stuffy room. The staff in that place would not even aknowledge your presence, they would finish up there personal activities at a slow pace and would not let you know they would be right with you. This was absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Hotel was very neat and clean and the AC was working. If you plan on staying in the downtown area, you can't go wrong because it's close to everything. The food is a bit overpriced. If you're single, you're probably better off staying at another more moderately priced hotel. The complimentary drink ticket that was given to me to be used at the hotel bar was nice, but it can only be used on basic well drinks and NOT on bottled beer. What a waste.

Accomodating, helpful, & friendly staff esp the bartender;great pool & jacuzzi, not a big fan to their fitness center & sauna; good location, easy access to museums, stores, & restaurants.

This hotel is located in the best location in San Jose. The hotel charge 40 for an extra person fee which I did not like. The services was marginal and was nothing special. The rooms were small but they were clean. This supposed to be an upscale hotel in San Jose but it's not even close.

The Holiday Inn at Aurola was very clean and well kept. The room itself was very spacious and very clean. Lots of room for clothing and to relax and the view from the windows were very nice. The bathroom was very clean and cleaning staff did a very good job of picking up the room and keeping it in order. The locatin of the hotel was great in downtown San Jose. Getting a taxi at the hotel was no problem at all and they were very helpful too. I certainly recommened this hotel and would stay again if and when I travel to Costa Rica.

Very hard to drive to, as I rented a car and its located smack in the middle of downtown. Also Internet will cost you 10/ hour. Since it's unsafe yo go outside, you have no choice but to pay those prices
