My family checked in early Saturday morning, and were given connected rooms with 1 double bed and 2 single beds (perfect). We had the continental breakfast, which included fresh fruit, hot foods, and the typical European breakfast things, then spent the morning relaxing in the pool, sauna, and our rooms. The bus ride to Athens was about 40 minutes, but we chose the hotel based on it's proximity to the airport. Unfortunately the shuttle didn't run on Easter, but there were frequent buses to the airport that ran 24 hours. The hotel was more expensive than the other places we stayed during our trip, but the amenities and services definitely made it worth it.

Clean, near public transportation and airport. Good for travelers in need of being close to the airport.

I stayed here simply because I had to catch a very early morning flight and it was a lot cheaper than the hotel that is actually at the airport and still relatively close to the airport. It also has a free shuttle (running on quite limited hours though), which was another selling point. The staff were very, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and very nice. Very comfortable bed, huge bathroom, safe, mini bar, coffee, tv, robes, slippers, WiFi. There is also a sauna, pool, work out room. The area the hotel is in is mainly an industrial kind of area, so, there isn't a lot to do nearby. I would only stay here again if I needed to catch a flight in the morning.

The Holiday Inn at Attica Ave. is very close to the airport. All the airport buses go there for 3.20 euros. Taxis are about 15 euros. They have a free shuttle bus, but it doesn't run all the time. Room service provided a very tasty meal. My room was gorgeous, on the sixth floor, very clean with a king-sized bed. Slippers and bathrobe provided. Pool is only 1.5 meters deep and rather small. Good for a dip after a long flight. Small fitness room adjacent had a couple of running machines and a nautilus-type upper-body machine. I paid 19 euros for 24 hours of internet service to my room which they should make free. Staff was extremely nice, informative, friendly, and were doing a fantastic job from the front desk to the cleaning staff. All in all; a great, affordable hotel close to the airport.

Very new, very clean and very modern. Not many choices for dining, other than at the hotel or fast food.

Food was much too expensive, service in the restaurant was marginal and cost to access the internet was outrageous.

This is the second closest hotel to the Athens airport. It was suprisingly modern and nice. It is not close to dowtown Athens and the Plaka area but the express bus was very easy to take to the central area and to return to the hotel. You have to take the bus to the central area to find things to do. There is not much in the area of the hotel. It is actually a rest stop. They have a free shuttle that goes to the airport but it starts at 4:30am and my flight was at 5:15am. The taxi was a short ride and cost about 20 Euros. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also a flight departure screen in the lobby so you can see which flights leaving within about 24 hours.

Big room by European standards. No shuttle to airport despite advertisement of such. Clean, new, lots of mirrors - decor a bit over the top for a business/airport hotel. Breakfast not available as early as we needed it, neither was the shuttle. This is a big disadvantage in a place that describes itself as easy access to airport.

We were told this hotel was located in the airport area. It's about a 15 minute ride. The taxi driver was angry, he drove about 80 mph, it cost us 25 E.

The hotel itself was quite comfortable, more than I expected from an Holiday Inn.

Beautiful, cleanand quiet hotel. Curious bed arrangement, seemed to have two singles only rather than double. supposed to be airport hotel but a good 15 minute drive from terminal, still better deal than Sofitel HOTEL(EXORBITANT). shuttle service is free and useful especially for early morning flights.nice, quiet hotel, clean , excellent bathrooms .if you have to stay by the airport this is probably your best option although pricey.

This Holiday Inn, Attica Avenue at Int'l Airport Athens was an upscale hotel with excellent amenities etc. It does provide transport to and from Athens International Airport, which is free. A great amenity since the taxi cost is around 20 Euros each way (~$40.00)to and from the airport. You will need to contact Hotel for this service and let them know when you need this free service. It provided timely and friendly service. I recommend this hotel completely.
