the stay was peaceful but the room did have a weird smell to it

Easy going. No hassles. Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, very good pillows. Not queen beds, small rooms for 3.5 star, barely adequate AC. A decent hotel that you will probably be able to get a deal on. Clean lobby and friendly enough staff. Don't expect any help beyond checking you in, unless you have a problem with the room. The small room with double possibly full size beds (not queen). You might get a view of the fireworks at Disneyland, but it's not within walking distance to the resort itself. The exit out of the parking lot is one way in the wrong direction, so getting back to Disneyland Resort can be an adventure especially during commute hours. Bring a GPS if you aren't sure of the area. Pool and Spa are large, but very busy, even on cool nights. Exercises room is an amenity I did not expect. mini fridge in every room, too.

PROs: clean room, free parking, wireless internet CONS: key card entry to building 4 broken, fire alarms going off for 10-15 seconds in the middle of the night. NO ONE at front desk to report houligans to entering unsecured building at 1230 AM. 10 minutes from Disneyland "as the crow flies". Literally behind the parking garage at Disneyland, but you have to walk about 20 minutes to get to the actual front gate. Shuttle available for $4/adult $1/child. You might as well pay $12 to drive, at least you could bring a cooler to your car, which would be closer than walking back to the hotel. With 3 young children, lack of security and indifferent attitudes toward complaints would prevent me from recommending this place to anyone, and results in a terrible rating. May have been different if someone cared, but overall, lack of safety was biggest concern.

The hotel was easy to find, easy to get to and in a great central location. Though it is close to the interstate I could not hear it from my room which was really nice. There were a lot of quick resturants, coffee shops and a gym all with in 15 min or less from the hotel. It was also in a nice area, I was able to go out for a run and felt safe. The room was a nice size, had a lot of great amenities (hair dryer, microwave and fridge) and a lot of counter top space to set items on. The room was clean, the staff were friendly overall it was a nice stay and will stay there again.

Restaurant needs more variety of food. Friendly, nice for family vacations, clean and close to Disney.

I read some of the reviews and tried it. It was a wonderful hotel - very clean, nice room decor, my husband loved the fitness room - he said it had everything and it was clean and new. On the most part, the front desk was courteous - one gentleman had a condescending attitude but changed after I had to raise my voice. The one draw back is that it is out of the way from Disneyland (not in walking distance) but the ART's pickup is right in front of the hotel lobby. The restaurant in the hotel was quite reasonable and the sundry shop is open 24/7 so you can use the microwave. Had a wonderful time - would stay at this hotel again.

Great location. The ART service is right at your door and is a very cheap transport service that will take you almost anywhere you need to go within the Disney Resort area. Restaurant on site was great - great weekday happy hours. Rooms were spotless and service friendly.

friendly and helpful service room wasn't very clean, I don't think the sheets were changed Friendly service, clean (for the most part), decent location. Parking could be better.

The hotel was clean, convenient and close to Disneyland. We've stayed here many times and like the shuttle to Disney. The room was on the 3rd floor and it was quiet. The only bad thing was the bathtub, there was some mold that I thought the housekeepers should clean. The staff is always friendly and the store was good, but should be stocked better. Breakfast is good, but a little expensive. The buffet had cold pancakes, french toast and was a little overpriced for what you get. We will definately stay here again though.

Hotel was nice, and worth the great value we got. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and the frig came in handy. Anaheim transit was just out the front door, parking was available and free, and the pool was a good size and nice to swim in. We weren't bothered by the freeway nearby, and it was within a good distance to Angel Stadium and Honda Center (both of which we went to during our stay). Drawbacks - Staff was unfriendly, seemed bothered for the slightest questions. They could all use a lesson in customer attentiveness and service. We asked at check-in if we could pay extra for a king executive room and they simply ignored us and didn't follow up. Room service wasn't available past when the restaurant closed; so we got back from a baseball game and had to leave again to go get something to eat. Overall, for the price it is a good place to stay!

Kids eat free up to 4 per family. Bunk beds were too small. I was impressed with the quality we got for the price. We had more than 4 people in our party and they let us pay $30 more to upgrade to a kids suite. The restaurant was good and kids eat free each meal was great! Little off the beaten path but with shuttle to Disney you really didn't notice. Although only 1.6 miles from Disney you would not walk there on these streets. The kids suite gave us 5 beds the queen was comfy but the bunks were big enough for our 6 and 4 year old but not our 9 year old. The pool was great and the hotel was clean. Refrigerators in rooms a plus also. I would recommend this hotel if you could get a rate like we got through Priceline, We paid half of what they were asking on the Internet and over the phone. Very worth it. Only drawback was we were not sure what bed type until we got there and they do have 30 smoking rooms that you could wind up getting if they are full, that would have been not worth it.

I booked three rooms online for a family Thanksgiving getaway. Despite being paid for in advance, and despite a "guarantee" of late arrival availability, the rooms I booked were given away to someone else. I displayed the printouts I made when I booked the rooms, but never did get the rooms that I paid for. I was given rooms though. The first one I was sent to already had someone in the room. Imagine their surprise when I entered their room with a key!! The second room I was sent to had just had the carpet shampooed--the floor was wet and furniture was piled up on the sides. No acceptable. The third room at least had beds, although the shower curtain was too short and let water spray all over the bathroom. My experience with this hotel's staff left me dissatisfied and irritated.

Beautiful hotel, very good location for us and our travels. Clean, but had non-smoking room and every day smelled of smoke. Not sure if someone had been smoking nearby or ventilation was not good.Otherwise stay was very nice.

Free parking. Free wireless high speed internet. The location along a one way street is a little awkward.

The hotel was horrible! Every single time I passed thru the hotel front desk, guests were complaining about something and asking for the manager. The hotel itself is "ok". There's an over-priced eatery in the hotel. There is "free" use of the microwave in the gift-shop. So every morning I would have to go down to the gift shop and heat up my son's oatmeal...not cool. There are no stores close by. Also you have to pay to use their shuttle. During my 4 day stay, the maid only cleaned my room once! And if you are brave enough to complain, the wrath of the front desk employee's would soon get you!!

The hotel is newer than most. Shuttle bus to Disneyland every 20 min. Next to I-5 can hear a little noise from freeway. Restaurant service at hotel was so/so. Have stayed here two times. Can see Disneyland fireworks from some hotel room windows. When using Orbitz could not make clear that we wanted a non-smoking room the second time that we booked(you may want to look into that) All in all not a bad place to stay.

Convenient location and clean. Only king and double beds available, would prefer 2 queen beds to be available.

It was a very nice size room, mattress was very comfortable, pillows were fluffy, and it was pretty clean. The front desk staff were more than willing to help to get us everything we needed. They have travel size toothpaste and other toiletries if you'd forgotten any. Pool was nice but the jacuzzi was dirty. Leaves and other things kept dropping into the jacuzzi and when the bubbles were off you really noticed it. Smoking area is also right there next to jacuzzi so I didn't enjoy all the second hand smoke exposure. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant at least 4 of the days we were there. I have to say you really want to get there about 0600-0700. After that the service becomes slow as the restaurant fills up. We had dinner there once and the same thing happened once the restaurant became busier. The food was good, way better than what you get at Disneyland. It was not a hotel close to Disneyland or much of anything else. it was close to the freeway so you aren't caught up in the hustle and bustle of Disneyland Drive. We could see the fireworks from Disney the first night we came there. the front staff was very helpful in giving us directions to restaurants and grocery stores and arranging transportation to your destination- even to Seaworld. Overall the hotel experience exceeded my expectations. The room was large enough for our family of 5, luggage, souvenirs, etc. There was even a safe in the room that you set with your own code. Just know that local calls are not free and you won't have any surprises at the end. I think you'll be surprised at what you get for the money. it was a very comfotable hotel.

The Anaheim Resort Hotel was a disappointment; the front desk staff were not friendly or helpful. It seemed that it was a chore for them to answer questions about the area, transportation, dinning options, etc. The jacuzzi was dirty and people were smoking and drinking despite the fact that several children were in the area. The rooms were not clean when we returned at night.

Clean, location, helpful staff. Exterior doors were not locked to public. We were very pleased at the quality and ease of the hotel. Quiet even though there were a lot of customers.
