Check in was prompt and efficient. Our room was on the first floor , as we tried to open the door we noticed that the lock was hard to open not safe at all in case of fire or emergency. There were glass doors leading to the atrium/hall which should be better fitted with key locks and not hasp locks. The bathroom counter space was minimal. The cleanliness was excellent. At night was noisy. The games machines in the atrium some of them worked some didnt and those that didnt , did not have a sign indicating so. The building needs much renovations. Value for money is not worth. We wont be returning there.

Nothing. Nothing on walls, mold in bathroom, sheets were dirty, and homeless guy sleeping by door. Dump and will not stay there again. Not a place for kids.

this hotel is doing as much needed remodeling but they should close while this work is being done. There are workman are there all day making noise. I tried to work in my room but there was to much noise. The beds are awful, you felt like you were sleeping on the floor. Bed linens are worn out.The desk clerks, housekkepers and restaurant staff are all very nice and helpful. They need to close and remodel or lower the price.

The front desk clerk fixed our room situation. The first room had ashes on the floor, used soap and shampoo in shower and filthy sheets. The horrible situation was fixed however, we should not have been given a room with dirty sheets cigarette ashes on the floor and used soap/shampoo in the shower.

Once upon a time, this was a beautiful hotel. I remember it from my childhood. They are remodeling, but it's going to take some time. In the mean time, they are charging way too much for a room right now. Maybe some day soon. The staff is really great though, nice lounge and cute diner. The pool and hot tub were nice and indoor too.

The hotel was accessible from the Interstate. The room was large and clean. Forced to park in back lot. The Holiday Inn in Amarillo is very nice for the price paid through Priceline. It is easily accessible. The room was clean and nice size. Although we did not use the recreation facilities, there are a lot of family-friendly activities available.

Got this room over the internet thought Holiday INN good buy. Boy was I wrong... The room had a smell to it not sure what it was. The beds were well used up. Thin towels and sheets if they were changed still remains in question. I will never stay there again..

I enjoyed the bar. The bathrooms were not updates and worn. The hotel obviously went through a recent renovation but ignored a number of details especially in the guest room bathrooms.

Service was good, pool and game area was nice and restaurant was good. The hotel smelled like mold as soon as you walked into the hallways. The first room we had, the light switch didn't work as you entered the room, the door lock didn't work properly, bedding and lamp shades had cigarette burns in them, Wall sockets were unsafe and cable TV could not keep it's connection, not enough towels for a family of 4 and the A/C unit was not working properly. They did change us to another room after the first night and it was better although the musty smell was still strong.

Location. Old, worn, dirty bathroom, hair in bed. Besides being old, worn and dirty, the desk clerk didn't check us in properly, so they gave someone else a key to our room! This hotel is in dire need of being refurbished and definitely not as nice as otherhotels.

"I was surprised at the quality. I've stayed at many Holiday Inn's that weren't this nice. The room was large, the bed a tad hard, but nice. Nice big bathroom...the showerhead needs replaced, but there's sliding glass doors that go out to the courtyard, and a little seating area outside your room. The courtyard has pool tables, and token games, there's an indoor pool I didn't get to use, but it looked nice. The room was really dark, and you could only hear noise from other rooms when in the bathroom."

The king size bed was extremely comfortable and clean. There were a few spots that needed updating and mending. The toilet seat was extremely worn and paint chipping. I know this was an older hotel but it didn't appear rundown or musty smelling. The room was very comfortable and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were a few areas that needed fixing but nothing too drastic.

It was conveniently located. It was very old and needed an update. It was appropriate for the amount of time I intended to stay but I wouldn't stay there for an extended period. The hotel staff were very nice and courteous. But one of the lights in our room didn't work.

Close to interstate and several diners. Not applicable. For three men on a motorcycle trip across country, this hotel provided it all. Two beds and a pull out sofa with a in hall door and a sliding door to access motorcycles outside. Dining in hotel was good and atrium area with pool and game area was impressive, even though I did not get a chance to use.

Nothing. The rooms were worn and in need of a remodel. This is at best a 2 star hotel. If you compare this hotel to a Hampton inn, its a joke!

Room needed extreme makeover - new caulking, wallpaper, tub/shower unit, furniture, everything! The front desk staff checked us into a room that was already occupied. The hallway smelled of chemical fumes from a room renovation just down the hall. After that embarrassing ordeal, we were checked into another room that had a TV with three missing buttons, the furniture was banged up and scratched pretty bad, the bathroom looked as if it hadn't been cleaned yet: a wet face cloth with make-up was left on the bathroom counter, the caulking on the tub tiles were black when it was supposed to be white, the wallpaper was peeling and the ceiling was cracked, the towels were old and dingy. We contacted the hotel manager on duty and told him of our grievance. He said he would get back to us but ended up leaving the property due to a non-related hotel emergency. Terrible family experience!
