The hotel's location and access with respect to the airport was perfect. The only negative was the bathroom (shower in particular) which was greatly in need of remodel. The cost of the room was too high for what you got.

I chose the Holiday Inn at Rochester airport because I had stayed there before with my family. The prior visit made me chhose this hotel becasue the hotel was well maintained in 2005 but on my last visit it appears that has changed a great deal. The overall condition of the hotel did not meet the three star listing. The hallways were rife with peeling wall paper and paint.The cleanliness level was subpar in the rooms as well. For the price I believe youcan do much better. The next time I'm in the area I will look elsewhere. They have a great pool and a decent fitness room. There are laundry machines available and they are pet friendly. If these are your needs then by all means but if they are'nt priorities then I suggest you look elswhere too.

The location of the hotel was a great plus for me. I did not like the placement of the laundry facilities. The washing machine and dryer were out in the open.

We stayed near the airport as we had an early morning flight. There were two loud hallway parties going on past 10:30 p.m. which the front desk was aware of. The front desk did move us to a quieter room but we only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep.

Nothing. Dirty rooms, bathroom and toilet not clean at all, 1 star hotel at most. My worst hotel experience with priceline so far. The room and the corridors smelt cigarette smoke. Bed was not clean. The toilet seat was disgusting. The bathtub was clogged. The reception desk was not friendly and helpful at all when we complained about the cigarette smell and the overall condition of the room.Very unprofessional. To make sure I am not staying with them again.

The only complaint I have is when we were checking out, our room service bill was higher than they had told us at the time of ordering. After finding the receipt on file, I was correct and they were trying to charge too much.

Clean, comfortable andconvenient. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Would stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel at 3:20pm. Our room was not ready until almost 4:00pm even though check in is at 3:00pm. The non smoking room we were supposed to have smelled heavily of cigarette smoke ( I thought NY was a non smoking state for public places). Some of the people with the drum corps were staying there.We were awaken at 1AM by some of them being very loud in the hallway. These were adults, you would think they would know better. The staff did apoligize but due to the long wait for our room and the smell of smoke in it, I won't be rushing to stay here again.

Close to airport and university of Rochester. Room location was a very long walk and no one warned us, housekeeping came in despite being asked not to twice. Very bad experience checking in. My mother and aunt were at the counter with me, seniors, age 87 and 85 and they assigned us a half mile walk to the room,after going up stairs, as there are no elevators, they could have warned us that our room assignment was far away and we would have driven these family members to the back entrance. Very unthoughtful and unthinking and inhospitable. For the rest of the stay we drove these family to the back entrance so the walk was up one flight of stairs only and the room was close.

"We stayed here night before we flew to Tampa. Was able to leave car for 2 weeks, Free shutttle to and from airport. Very quick. Good all around value. Staff very curteous and friendly. great soundproofing, could not hear planes. Would stay here again. I can't. One of the two beds in the room had no sheets. When we called the front desk to tell them one of the beds in our room had no sheets, the attitude was less than helpful. Sheets were sent to our room via the shuttle bus driver and we were told we would have to put the sheets on the bed ourselves. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Close to the interstate. Very run-down, no desk in room, seemed like a 1/2 mile walk from lobby to rooms. This is a tired old Holiday Inn with many rooms all on the ground floor (lot's of walking). Convenient to the airport and interstate, but dreary and not terribly comfortable.

Room was spacious. Not enough parking, crowds of people hanging outside. No refrigerator or microwave in room. There wasn't enough parking at the door my room was near. I had to park in the front of the hotel and make my way through the maze to my room. No refrigerator or microwave in room. I spent a lot of time in line waiting to check into & out of my room. Food was too expensive at the restaurants on site.

Location. Never got my wake up call. The hotel was in a good location. Staff friendly. Most of the hotel looked very nice. We were placed in an old room that needed some attention. It was clean but I would notthat part of the hotel as a 3 star.

Very clean. The walking around the levels due to remodeling. Very good, should have a continental breakfast.
