Quick access to airport and food; friendly staff. Four minutes from airport; friendly staff, including shuttle driver. Restaurants within walking distance.

Just ok-not very clean. Too much money for the horrible beds - very uncomfortable! Check out the Drury Inn-less money and spotless.

In addition to the hotel resturant there is a nice Denny's style resturant just one block away. Hotel is also very close to rental car return areas and only 5 minutes by shuttle to airport.

Free Wi-Fi. In room fridge was on the noisy side, gurgling sounds. Overall this hotel would be a good place to stay but I had a few negative impressions apon my arrival. As I entered in the doors of the hotel, I was greated with the sounds of construction. The whole entire front desk area was under construction and makeshift desk was set up at the front door. No one was manning the desk and had to basically call out for some assistance. It will look nice once finished though. I also encountered no hot water at all on Saturday morning as I prepared for a long day. I actually had to wash up in the sink, using the in room single cup coffee maker to heat the water to add to the sink to be tolerable.

The rooms were not up to my expectations. We reserved 2 non-smoking rooms which both obviously had been used as smoking rooms. One room had cigarette ashes on the floor and an empty cigarette pack under the desk. The rooms both smelled like old stale smoke. The bathrooms were in need of remodeling. The showers were ok if you are under 4 ft. tall. The cleanliness of the rooms was fair. All in all I would probably stay somewhere else. I hesitate to say this because the staff were all very nice.

It is a nice hotel. Very convenient location. The kids wished there were an indoor pool and a breakfast buffet. Other than that, it was great. We loved the shuttle service to the airport.

The driver of the shuttle to the airport was friendly. The front desk person was asleep in the morning. There was no coffee available. The lounge was very messy. It was not worth the price.

The hotel has excellent rooms/suites, detail-oriented housekeeping personnel and personable staff. The parlor suite was especially nice if traveling with a child as it has enough room to move around, living area and room refrigerator. The hotel is located close to rental car facilities and Lambert airport as well as several restaurants and retail stores. I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to visit again!

The Holiday Inn at Oakland Park was very convenient to the St. Louis Airport, but there were several other hotels in the area that we will try next time. The mattress in our room needed to be replaced, because you would roll to the middle of the mattress. Housekeeping had not done a good job in cleaning the room prior to our arrival. Since we were flying out that morning it would have been nice to have a continental breakfast available. The front desk could not answer our questions concerning the area, but the shuttle drive was very informative. We only stayed one night, so it was bearable, but we will not be staying there again.

Very comfortable room and nice and quiet. Has all of the things you require and then some. Very close to the air port and rental car companies. Also ease off on on highway 70. Give them a two thumbs up.

Friendly staff. Elevator was dirty. I only stayed 1 night with a party of 9 & we had 2 rooms that were separated by several rooms.

The St. Louis Holiday Inn Overland Park was a very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly during our stay. The rooms where very clean and the area was quiet. Even though it was by the airport you couldn't hear the planes take off or land which was nice. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Very clean and comfortable Showing a few signs of age--cracks in floor--but very minor I found the hotel in almost perfect condition, and an excellent value. It had an easy in/out location near the interstate and airport, was very clean and fresh, etc. Only major problem was a little wear and tear like cracks in the tile floor etc., but far less of this than I have seen in some places. I would return in an instant for the same price, no questions asked.
