Rather Shabby Accommodation in need of an overhaulThe room was rather shabby and in serious need of redecoration. The majority of the furniture was worn and chipped. As the hotel was fully booked on the night I stayed I could only have a smoking room which smelt very strongly of stale smoke as the windows could not be opened. There were no towels in the bathroom, I had to call down to Reception to request some, (which were delivered promptly to my room to be fair). On the plus side the staff were helpful, and the bacon sandwich/coffee for £5 deal available in the bar before 12noon was excellent, both in terms of the quality of the food and the value for money. However the evening meal I had in the bar was not of such good quality, hence the overall score given above for the food.

Like other reviews, the food and drink options are limited and expensive, but you can easily walk over to the airport where snacks and fast food are available (at airport prices). The hotel was clean and quiet. Our shower was great. You are literally just yards from arrivals and departures, so it is more convenient than any of the other GLA airport hotels. Also, the Glasgow Airport Flyer (bus 500) and the Citylink bus stop in front of the hotel. Shop for a good rate. We got $95 for a double. Not bad.

The way the took care of me and my needs, I got sick and they were very accommodating! I may have gotten food poising from the lasagna that I ate at their lounge. This hotel was located literally 2 minutes from the airport. You would never know it, I did not hear planes landing or taking off. I did get sick, possibly from the food I ate at the lounge in the hotel, but there was a fire alarm (false in the end) and I was terribly sick. The front desk, in admits of the fire alarm routine were very accommodating to me and my sickness. You would never think that there was the alarm details to take care of, because they were also concerned with me. So, while taking care of the fire alarm situation they also took great care of me.

Long wait 20min+ to check in. Dining room was booked with estimated 1 hour wait. Hair on floor of bathroom. 10 minute wait to be seated for breakfast. Prominent upgrade to executive suites offers displayed at front desk. I booked Exec and didn't receive the benefits but still paid the price. Closest hotel to the airport for early departures.

Very Convenient and good value for money through laterooms.The hotel is very convenient 50m from thet erminal. The building itself however is begining to look very dated externally, although internal decor is fine.Good size and comfortable room, good choice of food - does the job.

The Holiday Inn GLASGOW AIRPORT was comfortable, clean and friendly with good food choices in the restaurant and within easy walking access to the airport. I would certainly stay there again.

Very close to airport terminal. Room was very hot, in spite of putting temperature control at lowest possible temperature. I tried to park my rental car in the hotel lot, which was tiny, but the lot was full. The entrance to the lot was so narrow I thought I would destroy the car in the process. The room was clean, but tiny. It was so hot in the room and no way to open the windows--I couldn't sleep until I called the front desk and got a fan delivered--which took over 1/2 an hour to arrive. The hotel is just steps away from the terminal entrance to Glasgow International Airport, so very convenient.

The Holiday Inn, Glasgow Airport was a good value. Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious. It was very convenient to just step across the street to the airport early in morning. The business center amenities served all my needs. The dining room offered a wide variety of options.

Hotel was convenient for the airport and motorway. No parking was available. I had to park in a NCP car park at a cost of $9.00 per night. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Restaurant was good for breakfast and dinner. I would have liked free Wi-Fi. I had to ask for a cable for the room in order to use internet. Parking was poor. Cars were double parked and there was never any spaces. I think for the length of time that I stayed there that I should have been given a parking spot for the duration of my stay. I checked out 2 nights early.

The food was great. Good chef. I thought it was a little expensive. I give it a good review. The front desk staff was a little short with me and made me wait for no apparient reason. No smiles or welcome.

Nice room Awfully dirty bar and food poor and not as described in bar. Great location; good room; needs refurbishment, and higher standards in bar food and service. (The bar was actually smelly, the tables dirty, the furniture beyond worn.

Comfort of the bed and room service speed. Air conditioning faulty, cleanliness in bathroom. Convenient location to Glasgow Airport. Well appointed for business gatherings. Nicely furnished, but access to internet is quite expensive and TV channels are limited. Staff professional and address all concerns and/or requests in a timely fashion.
