The bathroom sink was dirty when we got there as was the shower. The shower door was extremly small and there was no where to put shampoo bottles. The beds were broken and the coils in them were squeaky. Asking for extra towels and getting them was like pulling teeth. There was also NO alarm clock in the room, and the parking fee was expensive.

Location was good, rooms were clean & roomy, liked the kitchenette.

It was fairly basic, but clean and comfy. It was only a couple of blocks to the main street of Honolulu, and a short walk to the beach. Probably the only downfall was the breakfast wasn't great, but as we had a kitchen we bought in some food and did our own thing, and other mornings went to some of the great restaurants in the area for a fabulous breakfast.

This is a very old, very dirty, very noisy place to stay. The water pressure is sometimes so bad that you could only get drips out of the shower--and we were only on the 4th floor, I can't imagine how bad it was on higher floors. We found the Aqua Wave a couple of blocks away, which was BEAUTIFUL, clean, huge room --and LESS $$ than the Hokele. Don't waste your time at the Hokele.

We stayed here because the room had already been paid for and we felt trapped. It looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. The dishes were dirty in the kitchen and there was blood on the towels in the bathroom. The sheets were not changed for our entire stay. The maids come in and make your bed, empty the garbage, and leave. They do not clean the bathrooms or any other part of the room. The front desk is friendly, but there are a lot of hidden fees they do not bother letting you know about. It met our basic needs - nothing more. There is no parking. A lot of walking and you basically rent a car to park and pay for it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not clean, linens weren't changed, old rooms andcharged extra for parking. won't change linens during your stay or clean room, they just make beds. You have to pay 20.00 daily extra for parking. Pool closes very early.

If you aren't fussy and need a quick overnight stay close to everything in Waikiki, this is the place. The hotel is in need of an update, and it isn't fancy, but we thought it was a good value for the night. I wouldn't spend a week here, though. The restaurant offers a traditional Asian breakfast, and it seems to be popular with Asian travelers. The staff was friendly, but a bit laid-back.

The hotel was not as it was pictured. The kitchenette was not in very good shape. the sliding glass patio doors were hard to move. The bathroom did not have a working fan. The shower had only one small place for the soap and no place for shampoo. The service was good and the desk people were friendly.

The room was okay for our trip. We will come home between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m., take shower and go to bed. In the morning, we take shower and go to our tours. It provided us a roof over our head at night time. Good service.

It had a great location for us and a pool. The room had an awful cleaning soluation smell all day. If you're looking for something with a view or on the beach or something more than a place to sleep and bathe, this is not the hotel for you, but if you are like us and only need a clean place to sleep and clean up and a minimal amount of hanging out, it's perfect. We'd stay again.

Upon check in, the front desk clerk (Derek) wasn't very friendly. Personally, his performance was comparable to a robot. Our reservation consisted of 4 guests, but when you need to call every night for extra towels because they kept replacing with just 3 sets, is irritating. The bathroom sink was also constanting dripping of hot water. The shower head needs to be badly replaced. The final clincher was the day of check out. I was very upset with the same Derek from the front desk calling @ 12:30 reminding us that check out was @ 12:00. I understand check out time but, it's not easy traveling with young children. And again upon check out, same performance, the not very friendly attitude.

Not anything really. The staff were bothered by our presence. It was not well kept and we did not get clean towels for morning. It is somewhat conveniently located but so is everything at Waikiki. The one positive is that 6 of us could stay together.

When I booked this hotel they said that they has kitchens in their rooms. What they have in there are kitchenettes. The rooms are suppose to sleep 4 people they give you a table for 2. The staff there are VERY RUDE and not customer friendly. When you book this hotel they don't tell you that you don't have parking and that you will have to WALK 7/10's of a mile one way to get to your car and pay 18.00 a day. If you need quarters for thier own laundrymat don't ask them because they won't give them to you.

Location. Old, rundown, needs upgrades. I found it to be mostly frequented by foreign travelers who tend to settle for what I consider a motel 6 type experience. They did bill themselves as suites but compared to a Amerisuites type unit, they were like someone had bootlegged them in. Parking was $20 a day, pretty pricy and a surprise to find out when you got there.

This hotel was an older run down apartment complex. The layout with kitchenette and balcony are cute - retro 70s style and very clean, but in need in a major remodeling job. The front door locked but the gap between the door and door jam really let in lots of light from the outside. The balcony sliding glass door could easily been broken into with a simple latch lock - but otherwise, our needs were met with a TV, bed, bathroom and kitchenette - clean place for us just to sleep at night.

They messed up on the room and gave us a standard not the royal suite we odered. When we checked in they only had 1 adult and 1 child and their was 2 adult's and 1 child. When I questioned the room size they said that we where weclome to change hotels and then was told they would notife us when our room was available and they never did. We found past guest toe nail's in our bed the first night and a psat guest medicarion on the floor. When I brought it to there attenion they acted as if they did not care.
