The room service is ok, the food is ordinary - not bad, but not excellent. The SPA service is awful. Just one example. We arrived in afternoon (3 PM) tired after a long day and went to the SPA. Asked for a bath robe . The answer was - coming soon. After half an hour - they were received, but finished, after an hour - we received only 2 robes. Every time we turned to the staff with a question about the robes we received an answer :'soon' or 'after we receive them from laundry'. No excuse, no politeness. AWFUL. It is only one case. There were more (most in SPA). The impression is that the staff never heard the word 'service' , you get an impression that you ask for a favour. And of course such an attitude spoils your vacation

The Hod was excellent, very large, nicely done rooms, excellent maintenance, friendly staff, beautiful private beach, excellent value for your money in this area where other hotels are either significantly more expensive or dumpy. I wold definitely stay there again next time.

Very comfortable room with the climate control and window that can be open - I loved it. Very nice and clean bathroom. The breakfast was just OK. There is no choice for dinner - buffet style only, a lot of simple food, overpriced, at 7 pm I would prefer small dish but had to pay for the full buffet - no outside restaurants in the area. There is entertainment every night at 8:30 - American pop-music with ability to dance. The SPA has limited number of services. There is no direct bus/transportation from the airport to the hotel and back, only two buses (7 am and 2 pm) from the hotel to Tel Aviv and there you have to transfer to another bus to the airport. Otherwise, you have to pay $200 for taxi.

Extremely nice hotel set right on the Dead Sea. We were very impressed with the leaxury and cleanliness of this resort. Best hotel we stayed in in Israel with a great price.
