Date of Stay: April, 2009

Our room was very clean, yet a bit small and our window view was terrible, overlooking an inside utility. The bathroom was wonderful, with a large shower with many jets. We had a smoking room that was a plus and ethernet internet that was a little expensive. The staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good and a great variety and many juices. The location was good within walking distance of most attractions, but don't take the tube to get there...use a taxi.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The fire alarm went off twice - once for testing, second was a false alarm. The rooms were a little on the small size, but they were clean. We requested another room since ours had frosted glass windows. The hotel moved us with no problem. This hotel did have smoking rooms located on the 3rd floor. The rooms that we were in were different styles. Hotel staff was great. They were friendly and accommodating,

This was my first stay at the Waldorf. The rooms were a good size but the view on to Aldwych was spoiled by the amount of traffic noise. This noise went on for most of the night . A tip for staying at the Waldorf ...get a room away from the road,

We have been in this hotel for an April week end. we had the usual Hilton quality but, overall the position is excellent, few step fron covent garden and just ten minutes walk from Piccadilly and Trafalgar square. we could walk all the time (day and evening) that is just what we want for a two days vacation in a big city. the restaurant for the breakfast was outstanding (excep for the price because the breakfast was non included and very expensive) but I suggest to have breakfast in some of the place just few steps outside the hotel (fast and cheap). the pool and the sauna inside the hotel was very nice in the late afternoon after a walking day and before dinner.

Closeness to the city attractions. Small rooms. Nice hotel in a good location. Walking distance to most of the attractions. Rooms are smaller than expected with low on furniture. Overall it's a nice clean room and friendly staff.

We were lucky to get a deal which was £99 per night for bed and breakfast which we thought was excellent value. Lovely clean hotel with lovely attentive staff.

In a convenient part of London, close to Covet Gardens, walking distance to train station and London Eye and the Theatre District. Would recommend to anyone who wants to be close to many places but a little removed. Rooms not sound proof and the lifts a little small but all in all a good place to stay.

Great location and excellent gym and pool facilities. The elevator did not work sometimes or was extremely slow. The room was very small, but it was newly renovated and had a nice decor, including a flat screen TV. The gym and pool facilities were excellent. I would rate this a 4 star hotel. The only problem was that the elevator was under construction and was not working during certain hours of the day (they should have been able to get it worked on during the night hours rather than afternoon hours). The elevator that did work was very slow, so we had long waits to get to and from the rooms. But overall, the hotel was great and at a great location.

From the Front Desk to Room Service to help with gadgetry in the room and Management, the staff was outstanding. From now on, the Waldorf Hilton at Aldwych is my only choice in London. You will not be disappointed.

The amenities were fantastic as were the restaurants. The rooms are fanastic with great amenities, including tea and biscuits, pants press, wonderful shower! I can't tell you how great the hotel was for the price we paid. The restaurant was amazing and the location is perfect for sightseeing, theater, and restaurants. We could not have picked a more perfect place!

Cleanliness. Pretty good location and generally friendly staff. Excellent special-offer pre-theater dinner. Cold breakfast rediculously priced at #22! Did not have, but appeared on bill. Mixed old and new decor a failure. Two light fixtures out of order. The above comments pretty well sum this up. Good value, considering the rate of $100/night. Good service. Problems with he 2-year old renovation so that they have embarked on another (4 of 7 floors done.

modern, thoughtful details, great location, provided early check-in cramped, construction right outside our window, room very far from elevator Good value for the money, especially in London. The room was a bit small and cramped, but it was laid out as well as possible. The amenities were nice, service was good, and employees knowledgeable, professional and helpful. The best thing was the bed. The most comfortable i have ever slept on! The room was small. There are only 2 elevators. Corridor decoration was uninspiring. The location is fantastic, and the bed is the most comfortable i have ever slept on. However, the room was very small and there is only one elevator that goes beyond the fourth floor. The hotel has undergone a mojor refurbishment, trying to remodel into a contemporary style. It looks o.k, however being an architect i did look and notice the very poor attention to details!....

I emailed the hotel before we left for a large bed. When we arrived, we were given a queen sized bed instead of a double. We had a wonderful experience at the Waldorf Hilton. The room was great. Not really big, but big enough. Molten Brown products in the bathroom. It had a great hotel bar. It was a terrific location. All we had to do was walk around the corner to go see the Lion King. We would stay at the Waldorf Hilton again.

The location was the best part. The bathroom was a little substandard for a hotel in that category. The location and price they accepted were great. I would stay there again.
