We were on Oahu to visit my parents, and this was a great deal even though it was on the wrong side of the island. I would definitely stay there again. The hotel's internet fee was very high, but we were able to find a local wireless ISP for a much lower weekly price. Because we did go driving everyday, we had to pay a tip for the parking valet each time we arrived or left, so that got kind of expensive.

Its a great place, the rooms (like other reviewers have mentioned) are somewhat small, but it is VERY nice. large LCD TV in the room (not that i was watching much - but the British Open was on the weekend we were there!), down pillows and comforters, and hip nicely remodeled bathroom with a nice shower. the pool is nice - nothing special, but nice. Beach access is just a couple of blocks away, and shopping is easily within walking distance. we had the view of the mountains, which while not quite as nice as the ocean view, was beautiful. don't bother with the room upgrade for the breakfast and evening snack. my only nit is that parking was a surprising 25/day, and with taxes etc, it came to over * for two nights.

The hotel is about 2 blocks away from the beach and they only have valet parking, which can be a bit slow during peak season. The room is very clean and the 46' TV rocks. We asked for a cable to hook up the laptop to the TV and watched movies. But I am a bit unsatisfied with the continental breakfast. There are only a few choices (fruits, bagels, muffins, croissant and cereals). There are even fewer choices for evening choices (nuts and cookies). But other than that, I am very satisfied with this hotel.

Using the Roberts Hotel Shuttle from the airport to the Hilton Prince Kuhio ($15 round trip) was a perfect start to my short stay. The hotel was beyond my expectations in amenities. The lobby was beautiful, the staff friendly and MOST helpful...(the concierge helped me with a troublesome phone call, and refused a gratuity!) My room overlooked the golf course and mountains to the west, with a balcony. Other rooms overlook the ocean were available for additional cost. The bed was pillow-soft luxury, the bathroom full of surprises. No bathtub, but I made due with a great shower. With complimentary appetizers in the eventing, and breakfast in the morning, the price of the room proved a real bargain. The location, 2 blocks from the beach, meant it was quiet, but close to shops and restaurants. I will definitely stay there again if given the opportunity, and will refer it to friends. I used the public bus to get out to Pearl Harbor ($2 round-trip); a long drive, but a taxi would have cost $40 one way, so the time spent on the bus was worth it. Only negative experience: on arrival, 2 bellmen were aware of me trudging up their steep ramp with a heavy rolling bag, and only after I got to the top of the ramp did they offer to help (I declined, at that point)

The Hilton Prince Kuhio was an excellent option for our stay in Waikiki. It's located one block from the beach and a short 5 minute walk to the International Marketplace and the main Waikiki shopping and dining strip. The staff were great at the hotel. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. All suites have been recently renovated. The views were also great, either looking out on Waikiki golf course or overlooking the golf course and towards the mountains. This hotel is on the edge of the main part of Waikiki making it a bit quieter, which was nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and convenience. There are many good restaurants located in the Marriot hotel which is just across the street.

No wave. Hall ways echos can hear neighbors too loud. Secure safe and parking expensive but it is Waikiki so I paid the $25.00/night.

The hotel has a nice decor since it is recently renovated. My wife and I don't really like the towels provided and the shampoo smelled horrible. It is good thing that we did bring our own. The service staff is good we moved the bed around to accomidate for small child and they figure out what we wanted and made it very nice. The big screen tv is nice but the connection is not too good and the tv needs to be wiggled a little to make the reception right which seems very strange. We encountered the big black out and the hotel staff was calm and orderly and the elevator and the hall was working through out. The hot water was out but that was understandable. Nice location. not far from anything so I did enjoy the stay

This is a nice updated hotel just a block away from the ocean. the room design is very nice - modern. i had a ocean view first on the 10th floor and then i was moved to 28'th floor. for sure the higher the beetter the view. overall nice hotel, friendly staff. good place to stay in honolulu.

The location was great as most activities had pick-up/drop off at another hotel close by. Hotel is near the bus stop so it's easy to go around town even without a rental car. Hotel personnel had been very friendly.

Very conveniently located in Waikiki. Only valet parking and at $25 per day! Nicely located toward the east side of Waikiki so toward the end of Waikiki hotel row. Has 24 hour restaurant so convenient for the late eater. Unfortunately they only provided valet parking at $25/night, so we did self parking at the Banyan Waikiki hotel across the street for $10/night.

The location is great. It is far enough away to avoid crowds but close enough to walk a couple blocks and be right in the middle of the action. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsible. We had an oceanview room and it was perfect. The lani is small meaning two of us could sit on it with a tiny room to spare. The pool/jacuzzi area is accessed from the the 10th floor. It is outside. The pool area is peaceful and convenient and there is a bar. There was a little construction going on up there but no problems. The lobby has a bar and a wonderful sitting area that has a constant breeze. The hotel is situated at a perfect spot on Kuhio Avenue. Our family enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay there again. The value of our stay was very fair.

I loved this hotel. The location was great, with short walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The staff was wonderful. They were very helpful with directions, and any questions we had. Rooms were nicely remodeled, very clean, and had comfortable beds and pillows! We had an ocean view room, which was exactly that! If you have a chance visit the Polynesian Cultural Center! Overall this place was great!

The bathroom was spectacular and the Mac 24/7 Restaurant had tasty food. There's only a very large glass enclosed shower, no tub for kids. Beautifully updated, with excellent service. The restaurant hotel is affordable gourmet, with yummy baked goods, something you would not expect at a hotel restaurant. Probably the nicest hotel we've stayed in at this level.

Even with the recent remodeling this hotel was less than we expected from the Hilton brand. The water faucet came off in my hand while the bellhop was still in the room but it took 2 days to get it repaired and we had to ask twice. Maids and Valets were friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel restaurant was way overpriced and had a very small selection but was open 24/7 as the name implies. Location was excellent; 1 block from the beach, midway down Waikiki beach.

Location. Room cleaned very, very late in afternoon. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. The rooms were large, and nicely decorated. The amenities in the room were very pleasing with the exception of no microwave. The refrigerator was a tad small, as left-overs would not even come close to fitting. Hotel staff was very helpful with storing my luggage early upon arrival, and bringing up luggage upon check-in. All-in- all, I would recommend.
