Restaurant Manager and room service was great. Bellman was friendly and helpful. Front desk management unfriendly, very unresponsive - remedial help nonexistent. My daughter's adjoining room was given away with her belongings still present. No satisfactory solution was provided.

Other than the parking fees and the Gym fees, it was fine. Why doesn't managment take a close look at these ridiculous fees. Why nickel and dime your guests during an economic time like this. Certainly people will choose to stay at a hotel that is a better value.

Ideal spot for a realxing getaway, yet also viable as a business hotel. If you want to chill, you don;t ever have to leave the resort. Restaurant was excellent.

We loved this hotel, the pool was great our room was great and our view was great. We have three children and they had a wonderful time and would have been happy to stay at this hotel our entire vacation. When we checked out we were stunned when we were charged $22 a night to park our car in the parking lot. It was not valet parking or anything special - just to park our car in the regular lot! This is in addition to your nightly room fee and we were never told about this until check out! Also one night when we ate at the hotel restaurant our waiter asked us if we would like some water - after agreeing he brought us some bottled water and we were charged $15 for it! It is a great hotel, close to Sea World and the Zoo, but they really stick the fees to you when they can!

The hotel was nice. Not great but nice. The location was very good, being close to old town, seaworld, the zoo, downtown etc. Every thing seemed about 5 min or less away including the airport. Rooms were clean and beds were nice as well as 42 inch LCD TV. Food on premises and room service is very expensive. Water in the vending machine was 3.50$ a piece. My major gripe was that no one informed me online or upon checking in, i would have to pay over 70$ to park my rental car at the hotel. If I would have been aware of this, I would have just took a cab instead of renting a car. Also, you must pay to use the hotel gym which is usualy standard at every hotel I have ever been to.

This was our first Hilton hotel and we were very satisfied. Check in was a breeze and desk clerk was great and professional. The room was huge and had a modern feel to it! yes, i think chargeing to park your car on the property is ridiculous along with a charge for internet!! First timer ever getting a massage , the hotels spa was an awesome experience! staff, especially my masseuse was a great time! Didnt go anywere cuz this was just a romantic time at the resort with my wife and i recommend this resort, but book it during the week and you will save bunch.

Great pool, public beach by the bay but seemed private. This is a great hotel for bigger groups or bringing you kids and family to. There were a lot of kids enjoying the pool and sports facilities it provides while the parents were kicking it back in the hot tub or enjoying the good food around.

I stayed at this resort for the recent Veterans Day Holiday - 5 days. This resort was amazing bottom line. It is perfect for couples and families a like, not too busy or noisy, and numerous activities for both families and couples to do. The resort was kept beyond pristine, do not let anyone tell you different! Note that this resort is not on a beach, but on Mission Bay, more like a lake. Even so, there are numerous watersport activities to do there including water skiing, jet skiing, paddle boats, etc. Also, since it is not a beach there isnt an overload of people there. In the description of this hotel it says you have to pay for internet. This is not true. We opened up our computer and it was connected to a free wi-fi, so dont pay for this! It is in a very centralized location, about the same distance (10-15 min) from downtown, Chargers stadium, the airport, shopping, etc.

They are trying to cut cost and in doing so there is no microwave in any of the rooms unless I put out 20 dollors extra. The coffee two cup pot never makes two cups and the coffee tastes like dishwater. McDonalds is better. The door would not shut close and on the first day the door was left open. We called security and they never fixed it. The maid did not pull it shut. Each use of the door you had to pull it shut. The air conditioner blew right on you in bed and could not be adjusted. The shower had not skid pad in the tub and when I asked they said put a towel in it!!! Very sad.

We had read some bad reviews before taking a chance and booking anyway. Glad we did! Everyone at the resort from the front desk to the cleaning crew were all super nice! We were treated with the upmost respect. Our two kids(11 and 12) enoyed the huge pool they had, my husband and I enjoyed the two hottubs. The pool was clean and maintained often. The bar and restaurant staff were wonderful. We had some dinner one night at the Oive and it was superb! Drinks are a little pricey, but that is expected at a resort. The spa is great! Had a wonderful sweedish massage. Overall, our stay was fantastic! We will definitly stay there again!

we had a great visit, it was beautiful and the staff was soooo accomodating when i needed a bigger room than they had me signed in for, dont know where the glich came from but they were great about getting us what we needed. the only down was that there was one resturant within walking distance or at the hotel and it was very expensive, so you had to drive or pay up.otherwise a wonderful place

We liked the location. Very accessible to all major sightseeing places. The hotel is outdated, expensive and not very clean.
