My boyfriend goes to Rice University and this hotel is very close to campus, but also very nice for the money. I really like to stay here.

Friendly staff. Heated pool was not heated. Overall not a bad experience, but nothing to write home about. One reason for selecting the hotel was the heated pool -- kids looking forward to it -- but turns out heater was broken. Good food at the restaurant but only 1 waiter for a roomful of breakfast diners turned into a stressful hour with small, hungry children. Location kind of blah!

Before kids my husband and I would have been content staying in a 40 a night roadside hotel. With an infant in tow though that all changes. The Hilton really gave me a new standard for what I expect in a hotel that I look for now. The room was nothing short of amazing. Two room suites with kitchenettes and 1.5 baths. The bed was the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. In fact we are now buying one! The toiletries they provide are quality. The room was so quiet, which either means there was nobody else on our floor or the walls were so thick hearing them was impossible. Having our son along I felt ok with him crawling around on the floor. The room was spotless. The furniture was nothing like I've ever sat on in a hotel before. Almost better than the stuff I have at home. Ok....maybe some of it was.My biggest gripes about the hotel .... one was the two elevator ride to get to the room. One from the parking garage down to the hotel lobby, then another from the lobby up to the floor we were staying on. The other was the towels. They were actually pretty small and scratchy in my opinion.

The room was nice. For the price of the hotel, I expected a much nicer room. A good hotel. A little pricey. The staff is outstanding and the rooms are clean. The location is slightly out of the way for convienance. The room service is great. Valet parking is offered. Liked it but think I could get a better stay at another hotel.

convenience to amusment park. they try to charge extra for 2 double beds. would be better next time when I make reservation, I can request for 2 double beds since I travel a lot of times with my kids.

Staff very friendly. Excellent valet service. Very Quick. Had no negative experiences here. Excellent hotel. Will definitely return to this one when in Houston again.

The hotel was very nice. Very clean and safe. I was not able to switch from a king bed to two queen or double beds. Did not know they charged a $10.00/day parking fee for vehicles. Overall, my hotel stay was a pleasant one. I wanted a room with two beds not a king size bed. However, the Hilton did not accommodate my request. They could at the price of $20.00 per day. Since I was already paying $10.00/day for parking I did not want another expense. Last year the hotel I stayed in accommodated my request for 2 double beds and it also offered free parking. It would have been nice to be informed of these things.

The staff was great. Bed was very comfortable. The hot tubs were not working This is a great hotel, with a wonderful staff. Very clean and comfortable. Great location if you have to be at the Houston Medical Center.

We loved the beds - very comfortable Ice machine on our floor was missing - had to go to another floor to get ice Very elegant! The beds were awesome - We didn't get to stay long but it was very nice.

Spacious rooms with all the amenities one could want. The hotel was hard to locate. Very short but nice stay. We would stay at this hotel again in the future. The staff we encountered were very nice and courteous. We wish there were free parking spots.

The manager did upgrade us to a room with more beds at no charge It is very outdated and in the beginning, hotel staff was not accomidating. Also had to pay for parking Outdated and , only allowed a room with one King bed. We have two children and the staff told us it would be $20 more to go to a room with double beds. We stated that we would just sleep the baby in her playpen and the older child in our King bed. The manager did upgrade us at that time for no additional fee. None of the floors had ice in the ice machines. Parking at the hotel was an extra $10.

Nice pool area There were no working ice machines and elevators were very very slow This was a very nice hotel, it was a little hard to find at first but when we found it it was in a good location.The parking was tight because we had to share parking w/Hospital.

Very upscale Was out of items on room service menu and did not inform me when I ordered The room I was given was excellent. It was well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was located in an excellent area for the business I was there for.

The location, the cleanliness, pool, walking trail around the pool We were two families with children. Although, the hotel was nearly empty, we were given rooms with one bed. We were two families with one child each. One room had a queen size bed, and the other had a king size bed. We asked for rooms with two beds, we didn't have a choice of rooms. We asked for rollout beds, instead, we were told that the rooms we had does not accommodate rollout beds. We were offered to pay extra for a suite - we did. After we got over being angry about the customer service and lack of understanding form the front desk, we had a nice time. Did I mention that the hotel parking lot was nearly empty? There were no more than 4 quests on our floor. I didn't understand why they wouldn't put us in a room with double beds because occupancy was definitely not a problem.

Very comfortable. A "locked" refrigerator, having to pay $10 to park This hotel was great to stay in; however, I think it is absurd to have to pay $10 to park when I am paying to stay in their establishment! Is Hilton so bad off that they cannot afford to let their guests park free??? And I did not like the locked refrigerator! All I wanted to put in there was my water and juice, but I was afraid I would get charged if I cut the lock that was on there.

The room was large and very clean and the staff was excellent. It was difficult for the cab to drop me off at the hotel, the area was not user friendly.
