Great overall experience. Mandatory Bell Hops, took your luggage and met you on your floor. Valet parking was expensive for the area. Great service, good rooms, perfect location. Location made up for everything. very nice accomadations, and right on the riverwalk.

My wife and I just spent 5 nights with our two teenage children at this hotel. We're very pleased to say the least. We never encountered an employee that didn't strive to please us. The valet, the front desk, the bell staff, the dining associates (including room service) were all wonderful. The property itself is very clean and attractive. Our room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The furnished balcony was a nice touch. The beds are very good and you'll find complimentary coffee next to the in room coffee maker. There's also a mini-fridge for anything you need to keep cold. Even the towels were great. We felt very safe as well. They lock the doors down to keyed guest entry only in the late evening. The location is perfect. You're close enough to walk to most anything you'd like to do. The Alamo is two blocks away and an amazing assortment of dining/shopping options are just a short walk down the river. The Hard Rock Cafe and Joe's Crab Shack were two of our favorites. There is a bus stop and trolley station just at the corner of the hotel that will take you around downtown and even as far as Sea World. We didn't need to get our car out of the parking area to visit any local attraction. When you can stay at a place where even your teenagers can't find anything to complain about, you know you're at the right hotel. We would definitely recommend it and plan to return.

I have seen mostly good reviews on this hotel, but a few that made me question whether or not to stay here. I am glad that I took my chances and went with this hotel. I have found that you will be treated the way that you treat the staff at the hotel. If you come in ready for a fight, then you will probably get one. It is not their fault if you had plane troubles, you got the wrong car at the rental company, or if the taxi driver was a jerk. Don't take it out on them. When you check in, be happy and pleasant, and the world is yours. They accidentally had set us up for a double room (we requested a king online) and they noticed it immediately. They gave us the king room, but upgraded us to a better view, without the cost. When we checked out and went to the airport, we found out that our flight was canceled due to snow at our destination. We went back to the hotel, but the same room was already taken. They gave us another room at the same price, and it was even better than the one before. It turned out that I had left my bathing suit in the bathroom upon checkout, and they were able to locate it for me and return it immediately. The maid service is better than any hotel I have seen. It is one of the better hotels on the river walk. I have stayed at several, but I will never go back now that I have stayed at this hotel.

The business center employee was rude and very unhelpful. It took me 90 minutes to fax some papers to my offices and 48 dollars. This is not he kind of service you should get for $756.54 for two nights. I have stayed at other Hilton's and have been accustomed to excellent customer service.

very enjoyable to say at the very least; the part of the shop for drinks, soda, water, ie...) a little bit pricey

Comfy beds. Self parking was a block away. Our room was very nice. The beds were comfortable, the room had a coffee maker. The bath area was well stocked with towels and was very clean.

We were close to shopping restaurants and parks, which had live music. The rooms were comfortable. We would definately stay there again. DQ

Free bottled water in the room. Hotel opened onto the San Antonio Riverwalk. View outside window was just of industrial rooftops.

Couldn't be more convenient for families; you can't get any closer to the RiverWalk without getting wet! An added bonus is that it is right in the heart of all the restaurants on the river. Convenient, clean, safe and a reasonable value. The only tick mark is the $ to valet - woof! Make sure you reserve at least one morning to walk the six or seven blocks down King William St. to have breakfast at The Guenther House (www.guentherhouse.com) - fabulous and incredibly affordable. Make sure you get there before 9:00 a.m. or you may have up to a 1.5 hr. wait. - probably a 20 to 30 minute walk from the hotel - but it's along the King William Historic Preservation District. Very relaxing.

"The hotel is in a great location, but that is all that it has going for it. The pool area is AWFUL - tiny, dirty pool with no plants and few chairs - it's like a ghetto apartment pool. The parking is outrageously high. Bathrooms were EconoLodge quality."

Front desk failed to remind me of the parking situation, and I failed to ask, regarding the particulars, (swiping card to access entry). Traffic backed up, police officer showed up and solved my problem. [ Thank you, officer ]. Fortunately, we did not need car for remainder of the day. Our interests within walking distancse :)

Although are weekend was great! I was somewhat disappointed when we got to our room. No Microwave, and No Continental Breakfast included in price. I assumed the price would have covered these small tokens of appreciation. Compared to other Hotels which do offer what I mentioned earlier, I was inpressed with the room and view. We did have free access to do our laundry. Oh before I forget I was also suprise that there was no hotel shuttle.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were clean with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. We just loved that every room had a balcony (we recommend to get a room with a river view). Great location. Only downside was the expensive parking, but I guess that is what you get when your downtown in any large city.
