I joined my family at Hilton Head for a long weekend get together. My son, his wife, and their 3 year old son stayed in the same hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and the atmosphere. We spent one day at the pool. There is a kitty pool. The larger pool is divided with half only 3 ft. (shallow enough so my 3 yo grandson could walk around). The other half ranged from 4 to 7 ft. There were plenty of lounging chairs around the pool. Another day we went to the beach and enjoyed the clean sand and warm water. The hotel evidently does not supply chairs and umbrellas to guests, but they were readily available for rent. The friendly staff was very willing to set them up where we wanted. There was a breakfast buffet each day that was very good. We went to the restaurant for dinner on the last night and the food was very good. The service throughout the hotel was very friendly and efficient. The only thing that would have made my stay more enjoyable would have been more comfortable seating in the hotel room. However, I spent very little time in the room.

Large clean rooms with balcony, close to the beach, convenient self parking. Noisy bar until late at night: No premium channels on TV. We first were given a room overlooking the parking lot. They agreed to change us to a better room overlooking the garden against a small fee. Rooms were clean, large, and the fridge and microwave are handy to store drinks or fix a tea. Their bar is very nicely furnished and a cool place to hang out.

The hotel was somewhat difficult to find. I was pleased to have a GPS. The location was wonderful as were the accomodations. The Mid-March weather was a bit cool but perfect for golf. The hotel had a large firepit which we enjoyed. The pools were lovely. Service was good but not extraordinary. The staff was extraordinary. I would have preferred to be there when it was slightly warmer but the island was gorgeous. We loved the signage even though if often made finding shops/stores difficult. Take the Red Trolley Tour if you have nevver been. Book it early as it was filled. The expense was well worth the cost($30) for AARP, AAA, etc but ID must be shown. Hudson's has the best seafood on the island but go early or wait 40 minutes.

This was a beautiful hotel, the garden area and pools were very inviting, the outdoor seating at the restraunts was perfectly done. The rooms were very nice as well. Tennis was within walking distance and the shady paths were welcomed for nice long walks. The one and only drawback would be the noise from the fountains in the evening.

We went to the gift shop, used the office for business (faxing), and pool. The bar and live music pool side were a definite attraction. Location was close to restaurants, mini golf, shopping and groceries stores. Hotel staff was nice and accomodating. They were vigilant on cleanliness.

Great location and beautiful settings. The employees did not seem very happy in their work and attitude reflective. Beautiful location and family friendly. Rooms good size and clean and well decorated, Iwill try and stay there again through Priceline.

After reading the mixed reviews from several travel websites, I knew that my expectations should not be high. So I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The front desk is central to everything and right down the hall from the dining room. It had two computers for internet usage which was free. The dining room had an average buffet for breakfast, and was reasonable at 10.00 a person. The rooms while not spacious, were nice, clean and all the appliances worked. We appreciated the fridge and the hair dryer. The room was clean and had plenty of outlets to plug in phone chargers and whatnot. The common areas could use some cleaning work. We checked in on Thursday night and saw some sandy foot prints in the hall by the door leading to the beach, they were still there on Sunday. It could use some updating but it was perfectly fine for us. The best feature by far was the location- literally right on the beach. There are a few shops nearby that you can rents bikes at pretty reasonably and ride on the beach and some forest paths (that was our favorite experience) I would stay there again, the staff was friendly and the view was gorgeous. But don't take a taxi anywhere they are expensive, the car rental was cheap and right outside the door at Savannah airport fast and easy even at 11pm at night. The tourist outdoor shops were right next door which made buying everything from groceries at piggly wiggly to tee shirts and souvenirs really easy esp really good coffee first thing in the morning.

When I arrived at the hotel I was met with a friendly and courteous staff from the time my car was valet to the end of my stay. I experienced some of the best food (omelot's to be exact) I've eaten in years. The bed was truly heavenly. The bathrooms were a bit small, but the overall stay was excellent. Anyone who needs to get away for a quick weekend and be near the ocean, this is where you need to go. Private, safe ocean night and day. On the last day I was dreading having to leave. Great Job Hilton!

unless you see the view, do not pay for oceanview fees; before booking, call to see ALL construction on elevators are done; singles/couples are not isolated from families with young kids... can be a problem; be ready for hidden daily fees not typical of Hiltons... wireless, parking, beach chairs/umbrellas; entertainment only Wed to Sunday; no breakfast given... surprised given daily room costs; 18% tip on most services required; pool side towel service was great

Very family friendly - on the ocean with plenty of activities. Getting from one place to another within the hotel felt like walking through mazes. Great vacation spot on the beach. Plenty of activities for the family. Very nice rooms and a friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Have stayed at this hotel many times. The room is quite large and comfortable - top notch. Very few rooms have what I would consider an ocean view - most are of the parking lot or courtyard - with the ocean difficult to see through the trees - technically a view, but not what one is looking for. We ate at the hotel's restaurant for dinner. It was excellent, but very expensive - fortunately, we were not paying. Alexander's is good and nearby as well as the Sea Grass Grill and Crabby Charlies. Both my husband and I had a massage and they were top notch. One drawback is that the wireless when I was there was almost non-existent (was able to download e-mail maybe 5% of the time and forget surfing). Most of the other attendees at the conference had the same problem. They don't charge for wireless (or didn't at the time) which is unusual for Hilton, but there probably was a reason why. The fitness facility is excellent - very clean and several of the cardio equipment had individual t.v.s.

While the Hilton is currently remodeling some of its public areas, corridors and elevators are stuck in the 1980's. No AC in elevators and temperatures were quite humid. The room size is very good; however, be very specific when requesting Ocean Front or Ocean View Room. Our room was very pricey and the "view" was straight across the parking lot -- then the ocean view kicked in. Not exactly the romantic image of ocean and beach outside our window we thought we had booked. When the front desk was called, we were offered another room only 2 doors farther down, one floor down (closer to the parking lot) and at an additional 100 per night (we were already paying 275 discounted AAA rate). Called concierge for restaurant recommendations and she would only recommend the hotel's restaurants; again -- very pricey options. We love the HH area and will definitely return; however, we will try other hotels before returning to the Hilton.

It was very pleasant. I don't think the hotel should make the guests pay for parking.

This hotel has a great location with great proximity to the beach. The staff is friendly and the food is great. The food is pricy, but it's worth it if you don't want to travel anywhere. The room (regular) was also quite large and comfortable. I do recommend bringing your own coffee and filters if you like coffee as much as I do. The packages they provide are gross.

This is really a very nice Hotel in a Beutifull place. Hilton Head is a nice quiet place where you can really relax and forget about everything. The hotel is full of amenities, nice pool, very nice fitness center; good restaurants and plenty space for parking, dought they charge you for it.It was a nice, spacious room very confortable. I really recommend the one that has one bedroom, is bigger and confortable for families.Everything ok, except for the front desk supervisor. Very ungry and displicent young woman.

Great location, large rooms andbeautiful courtyard. Loud leaf blower outside the room every morning. This is a very nice hotel, with among the largest guest rooms I have ever stayed in, with wonderful appointments, a very nice courtyard and great beach access. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent food and drinks were not unreasonable. Also nice, and rare in resorts, was a very reasonably priced lobby snack bar with decent food. Swimming pool was small but well heated for a March swim, bike rentals were conventient and reasonable. Very nice courtyard with lots of flowers and nice sitting areas, including a great fire pit (it got a little chilly when we were there). Only two minor problems; every morning a gentleman used a loud leaf blower on the parking lot outside our room for 45 minutes - so loud that it was painful to here with our window open on the fourth floor. Also, views from some of the rooms are not particularly good, mostly looknig at parking lot. Some rooms however have very nice ocean views.

I'm rather young and still didnt mind the laid back/family enviroment of the Hitlon. Rooms were nice, and the maids did a great job of cleaning them daily. Our oceanview room overlooking the parking lot but still had a view of the ocean. Hotel staff was nice/ Bell Staff very nice men. Very expensive to eat/drink and hotel...VERY...but thats Hilton Head for you I have came to learn. The hotel courtyard though is breathtaking...beautiful and well takin care of. Not saying I wouldnt go back but I would try a different hotel just to see something else.

I got engaged on this trip and was happy it happened @ the Hilton. The staff was friendly (except for late night room service who isn't interested in bringing you champagne, even if you did just get engaged) and the room was beautiful! They have family pools and adult-only pools (which alot of resorts forget about even though they have couples vacationing without kids). They have great drinks at the poolside bar and the room service breakfast was worth the money. We really enjoyed our stay!
