What can I do nearby?

There are 3 pubs in the village that on various nights offer quizzes, poker and live music, we have a public bar with a juke box. We are 15 miles from Alton Towers, Uttoxeter Race Course, Donington Park Download Festival venue and various National Trust Properties and the National Forest and Peak District are within easy reach.

Do you have internet?

We have 6 rooms in the hotel building where wi-fi is available for free, we have 4 rooms in a separate annex where there is no wi-fi.

What are your breakfast options?

Breakfast is offered with the room and is a choice of 4 cereals, toast, orange juice, tea or coffee and a full English breakfast served Monday - Friday 7:30 an - 8:30 am and Saturday - Sunday 8:30 am - 9:30 am. We would offer the above for £7.50 as a separate item. There is a transport cafe 1 mile away called the Salt Box renown amongst lorry drivers, that would offer breakfast for longer hours.

What transport is available to get around?

There are bus routes to the 2 nearest towns of Burton and Derby. There is a train station in the next village of Hatton (1.5 miles away) that connects with Derby and from Derby you can go anywhere.
