The staff was really great. The front desk should have cards.

Worked at local hospital. Hotel was clean but needs to be renovated.

The location was great. The price of parking is $10 a day. The hotel was nice, blow dryer did not work and the coffee maker in room brewed unevenly into the 2 cups. The parking rates were much more than expected.

Being 19 I came with my boyfriend for a good time at the bars, and the young nightlife. We were only a few blocks from all the nightclubs and most the bars which made our journey a lot easier besides the outerwear and the cold weather (there were closer ones!). We didnt have any problems with room service and our room was clean. As for the front desk, they gave us a small issue with the television channels, but served us right away to a key id lost. it looked kinda old, smelt funny in some areas, and our fan/heater only blew out cold air, but usually found or expected in many hotels. The huge comfortable bed was the best part, and undeinably i wanted to steal the pillows :)

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Hilton for fireworks night. The hotel and the staff were both great. We travel a lot and this was our first time in Windsor, we mentioned this to the staff and they made us feel right at home and recommended many great ideas. Our check-in was perfect, no problems with the reservation and very welcoming. Our room had a great view of the Detroit skyline that was breath taking in the evening. After being in the room for twenty minutes or so the phone rang and it was the front desk making sure everything in the room was okay. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We ordered more pillows and they were delivered immediately and the staff was very polite. We ordered breakfast from room service and it was delivered right on time. The food was delicious and still warm, which sometimes can be a problem. The hotel is located right downtown and is in walking distance to almost everything you need. The location is very safe. Since it was Fireworks night they had tons of security at each entrance which was very comforting. When walking through the lobby after the fireworks one of the front desk staff members remembered our last name and asked us if we enjoyed the show. We were more than impressed that after such a busy night they still took the time to see if we were enjoying our stay. We highly recommend the Hilton Windsor to anyone looking to stay within a safe, clean and friendly environment. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked a room for next year.

Decent hotel. Very friendly staff. It seems as if all rooms have river view, which is nice. Restaurant was okay, though we only had breakfast there. Coffee and mugs from the room, used the first morning, were not replaced, and the mugs were left in hallway (by staff) and not picked up for an entire day. Did not use the fitness room but understand that it is small. Riverside Drive location handy, especially to tunnel. Neighborhood leaves something to be desired, a bit rundown and seedy, and restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel are limited in number and type. Do not use valet service for your car. Extremely slow and unreliable. Park your car yourself at the public lot behind the hotel (to the credit of the valet service, they themselves recommended this option). They offer drycleaning service but this option is not available after 9:30 AM Friday, and so not helpful for weekend stays.

Not at all. The hotel was dirty. The reception guy was rude. Bad taste and bad service. They had the worst staff.

The parking is listed on the the travel website as free. It is not.

My biggest problem with this trip was that the rooms are not quite. I realize it was New Years Eve, but our room had an adjoining door, and the guys on the other side were VERY NOISY!! I wanted another room, but instead was told they would send security up. At 4:30 am, we could no longer take it and my husband called the front desk. It helped a little, but their noise level only went down an octave. I had never had a worse night in a hotel!!

It had free internet. Most of time in Windsor paid $15.00 It's in a beautiful area, right on the Detroit River. The rooms were big and roomy. Had new HD televisions. The beds were great and got a good night sleep. It was an over all great experience.

Staff is rude and disrespectful. Upon walking into room there were crumbs all over one of the tables, stains all over the carpet, and the ceiling was extremely low. I'm only 6' and I felt like i was in a playhouse. The view of Detroit is great, but not nearly worth the money, or putting up with the staff. I had to argue with the MANAGER to get my money back and he wouldn't do it. I told the night manager that I've worked in hotels and never seen anything like the way their staff was treating us. He then got in my face and YELLED at me about how long he's been working in hotels. Horrible service, even the managers are rude and unprofessional. Save yourself some time and money and stay somewhere else if your going to Windsor.

The Windsor Hilton is a very nice pace to stay w/ friendly staff and easy check in/out. The rooms had flat screen Aquos Tv's which was nice. The room was clean and very affordable. Great view of the river and within walking distance of many sites. I would defintiely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. If you are visiting Detroit this is a great place to stay as there are very few hotels in the downtown Detroit area and the ones that are there are very expensive.

Hotel staff and management are unprofessional and rude! Rooms were dirty and tired, hallways were filthy and carpets dirty. The only going for it is the fact that its on the water. Looks nice at night but it was not worth the price paid - Rip Off!

Beds were comfy. The staff was horrible. Lied to us. Unhelpful. Very nice hotel. The staff was very unhelpful. We had a lot of wind coming through the vent in our room. Was old that they couldn't do anything about this- understandable. Asked for another room where we could sleep as we had been kept awake. They told us no and that we would have to talk to the manager at 7am and then may be she could do something, and that there were no rooms available for us to go too. Called back 30 minutes later complained some more and finally got another room, but it took them another 30 minutes to even bring up the key. New room was perfect. They wouldn't compensate us the next day for our troubles.

This was the worst place we have ever stayed. It was dirty and the service was horrible. Be prepared to buy bottled water because we had rusty brown water. It is in bad shape. Would never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly. There were problems with the television signal in the room. The Windsor Hilton is a great hotel with an excellent view of the Detroit skyline. The lobby, rooms, and pool/fitness center are all very well-maintained and designed for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The beds in the rooms are among the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The only negative with the room was that we had some problems with the signal of the television cutting out.

The view of the Detroit River and skyline was great. Casino and night life were in walking distance.
