The receptionist was snappy at check-in and there was loud noise in the hall throughout the night.

Complimentary IAD airport shuttle good. Front desk staff okay. Room comfort and decor good except no privacy drapes. Wonderful bed linens, king bed comfort and Crabtree & Evelyn bath amenities. Room service sold out of all except 1 item after midnight and server seemingly not happy that I didn't add to the automatic 19% tip. We had an after midnight check-in and 6am check-out and 2nd floor corridor remained littered with room service trays and trash during that time and hotel management appreciated me bringing this to their attention.

Rooms and amenities were very old. It was obvious hotel needs remodeling badly. Better experience had at la Quinta level hotels

Leaving. Excessive noise from the drunk guest in the hallway at 11 pm so loud that I could not sleep, again at 2 am awaken by a knock on the door that continued. The hotel it's self was nice, unfortunately I did not get any sleep due to the noise from a few of the guest that had a few to many, so many that when I left my room the guest was asleep in the hall next to his door? That probably answers why the knock at 2 am!

I've stayed at this hotel many times and consider it the best in the Dulles area. Great staff, responsive to all requests. Very quiet hotel. Interior parking garage. Spacious, clean rooms with great bathroom/shower area and wall-mounted TV. All the data hookups you could need.

Once I found the hotel, it was a very nice place. I advise that eating out would be best. The food for room service was very good, but very expensive.

I stayed here on my 8th grade class trip and it was really nice. It is kind of far away from Washington downtown, but it has a lot of rooms. It doesnt have a very good breakfast or much selection of television channels but it was a nice place to stay. I would come back again with my family.

The Hiltonm was a very nice hotel. The hotel and grounds were well kept and the room was very nice. The property was close to the airport so served it's purpose. The only trouble I can see with this hotel are as follows. The property is very spread out. If you do not have a room near the hub of the hotel you will feel like you are in vegas walking the halls looking for an elevator or destination. One other point is in room guide the state they have steam showers in the spa/fitness facility. They do have a sauna but the steram room has been closed since the hilton Bought the hotel. I would recommend the hotel as long as I made the porson aware of these two points.

The hotel was extremely nice, although a little bit distant from the Dulles Airport and a little hard to find in a rental car. When our flight back to Texas was cancelled due to rain, we called the hotel from the airport to see if they could book us another room for that evening. I can't begin to describe the kindness we received from the reception staff--especially since we were pretty out of sorts from the interminable ordeal at Dulles (to be repeated again the next day after a second cancellation, and the subject of a future essay). There was an especially kind young lady at the Hilton reception desk whose name escapes me (I'm embarrassed, given her kindness, that I've forgotten)--who was kind, attentive, thoughtful and who gave us a wonderful rate. We will forever be grateful for her. So, to sum up, I give the Hilton hotel near Dulles an extremely high rating, especially its personnel. I would also welcome the opportunity to give a candid review of Dulles Airport, a labyrinthine, inconvenient nightmare which I would use again only if I was physically constrained from driving, hitchhiking, walking or crawling to my destination.

The hotel was very clean with new furnishings. My stay was quite comfortable. It was hard to leave. I would recommend this hotel for business and leisure. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The surroundings were very clean and pleasant. The Cardinal Lounge restaurant was top quality!

Location and price. Shuttle buses seemed full both ways. Hotel is in a great location to airport but restaurant is pricey with no nearby options. Shuttle buses are full.
