Great hotel..Staff super friendly and very helpful. Great location.. Within walking distance to every thing we wanted to see.

It was a nice to be able to get relaxed and comfortablein bed and not have to worry about noise. My 9 year old daughter slept really well. It wasn't as clean as what I thought it would be. There was a pizza box that sat outside of someones room and moved to a ash tray hidden. When we arrived at the hotel the bell hop came up right away and greeted me. I entered into building with a good feeling walked right up to the counter and had a nice polite girl wait on me. I also asked if they offered a military discount in which they discounted our rooms on top of the Priceline discount. That was a wonderful thing. I was dissatisfied by the fact that I had to pay to park for the whole weekend. It wasn't outrageous but most people didn't count that as an expense for a hotel stay. Room was decent clean and peaceful, however, the hallway was dirty and the elevators took awhile. My husband tried to get a soda from the soda machine and it wouldn't give a soda nor refund the money, they hotel refunded it back. It was located near a bunch of free activities to do which saved on cost and it was a nice learning experience for my daughter on Abraham Lincoln. People around were nice and friendly. The restaurants were not the greatest in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was over priced and Bennigans wasn't that greatest. We however had a wonderful experience at there Coldstone Creamery near by. Overall if I ever needed to use that as my meeting destination I would maybe consider them again. The experience wasn't an on my I needed to come back but it wasn't bad where I wouldn't either.

hotel staff very friendly, clean room with very comfortable beds and lots of pillows. needed more washcloths,towels. bathroom small with barely any counter space.weird placement of only towel bar as it was attatched to front of bathroom sink. when you go to brush yout teeth,you have to lean over it and if something is damp,so are you. would have liked some type of wall or door hook. breakfast buffet was free for two of us,but had to pay 13.00 for my son. food selection was good. dinner at onsite bennigans was only ok. you can't beat the location, only a couple blocks for lincoln attractions and state capitol building. restaurants and bars close. free shuttle to amtrak station and airport

I liked the fact that it was in the heart of Springfield and close to everything. They offered a free breakfast buffet, but restaurant was small and had a bit of a wait. But hey, it was free. I have stayed here before and I will stay here again. Friendly staff and the room were nice.

My boyfriend and I got a room here to celebrate my birthday. We were planning on going to the bars downtown, but there was an ice storm so we stayed in the room instead. We liked practically everything about our room, with two exceptions... 1.) The bathroom. Ridiculously small, it's impossible for two people to be in there at once. Also, the tub wasn't in the greatest of shape, we found multiple hairs in the tub and there appeared to be some red "mold" or maybe discoloration in areas. 2.) Noise!!! We were on the 26th floor and had no problems whatsoever, until around 11:30pm. We were attempting to fall asleep when it sounded like an entire football team came running and screaming through the halls. They were knocking on doors, screaming, and laughing A bit annoying when you are trying to sleep. I fell asleep, but my boyfriend listened to it for another hour!!! The room was not cheap - $140, but we had a king bed and two coupons for a breakfast buffet. We had a great view, and the bed was super comfortable. The layout of the room is strange, but that's because of the building setup. All in all, it was a great stay. Pretty much worth the money. We were disappointed that we couldn't recieve an upgrade for my birthday (as most hotels will do for special occasions), but that could be due to many things. The only suggestion that I have is to check your bill carefully and check out prices...it's nearly $1 to make local calls. It seems like they "nickle & dime" you,

East to find, convenient to local attractions. Breakfast room was crowded and had to wait to get in. Conveniently located, well worth the price. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful pointing out the local attractions and giving directions. Would definitely stay on a return visit as well as recommend it to others.

"Don't remember what floor we were on but the two rooms we had were nicely decorated, however the air conditioning unit was so loud you were awake if you turned it off because it was too hot to not have it running or you were awake because it made so much noise you couldn't sleep even with ear plugs!!!"

Proximity to Abraham Lincoln sites. Had an old feeling to it. Acceptable for sleeping and close to attractions.

I was on the 15th floor and the room looked pretty updated. I didn't like having access to two other rooms but there was a big nice recliner to put in front of one door and a large luggage rack to put in front of the other which left an office desk to put on the main door. I felt safe even though this was a business trip and my family wasn't there.

Friendly, clean, breakfast included, very helpful. Ice and vending machine on our floor out of order. Front desk helpful from check-in to check-out. They ask what your preference of floor is. Bellmen were extremely helpful in directions and information. I they didn't know they would research and get you what you need. Hotel was clean rooms was large and comfortable.

"I stayed at the Hilton becuase of the downtown location. Big Mistake! I felt dirty the whole time. The rooms really need remodeling. Everything is old, worn, and dingy. My room was definitely not worth what I paid. I might try the hotel again only if they undergo some major renovations! Otherwise, I'll try a different hotel the next time I'm in Springfield. "

Nothing Dirty, noisey. Employees at first refused to move us. Nothing good to say, well they comped the movie because of the white spots on the bed spread. Linen was ripped the sink ran slow, toilet was disgusting. The wind made a constant noise and the hotel operator at first refused to connect me to the front desk! I knew the minute she asked what the problem was she was going to give me a hard time!

We had an issue where 2 of my friends were assaulted. The security guard gary and 2 managers were there within 5 minutes with the police. They were so helpful and great about all of it even through our hysteria.
