The Hilton Providence was a pretty good hotel, not what I expected though. There was no comforter or bed skirt on the bed, the toilet ran all the time, and the desk chair was uncomfortable. Maid service was hit and miss. Overnight parking was quite pricey at $24 per night. Hotel staff wasn't very good at giving us directions and information. The Don Shula restaurant in the hotel was very good. The TV didn't have alot of stations. There is a Starbucks right outside the door.

Very comfortable beds. Good location, neat and clean. Friendly staff.

This hotel was a real pleasure..from the very cordial and capable staff (all of them, from the valet parking attendants who actually chastised me for tipping! ..to the front desk and maid staff..a great crew) to the clean and nicely appointed room. Room service from Shula's 347 was awesome and fast. The hotel itself was located just below Federal Hill (within walking distance to the great Italian restaurants on Federal Hill). Heading the other way, it was five minutes from Brown University and immediately adjacent to the Dunkin' Donuts Center, which is the venue for all concerts and other important events downtown. Highly recommend this hotel...from a very picky frequent flier.

Clean hotel, spacious and clean room, however, lobby is pretty small

EXTREMELY friendly and courteous staff -everyone from desk staff, porters, maids,... . The Hilton is very accomodating and I would definitely return as long as the cost is comparable. The easy access to Shula's was an added bonus. Great staff, good food.

Brand new hotel that is centrally located. Nice flat screen TV's, good exercise room and great in room dining. Perfect for business travelers and leisure alike.

This hotel was next door to the convention center & within walking distance to the Italian neighborhood, Providence Place mall and downtown restaurants. The room was very comfortable for one person but would have been small for two people. The bed was divine. The hotel staff was very attentive but respected the do not disturb sign. The bathroom was a nice size with plenty of counter space. Checking in & out were very quick & easy.

Good beds, great staff, nice view of the Bay. Buffet breakfast did not include cereal, coffee or juice. I'll stay there again!

This is a hotel way passed its prime! We have stayed in hotels before that were being renovated. We understand the inconveneinece. But, this hotel was a mess. The room was not very clean. The bathroom cramped and the shower didn't work well. Even entering the hotel was a challenge as we wound our way through some filthy dank passageway. Impossible for those needing access without stairs - and little narow ones at that! Breakfast wasn't much better. The restaurant was short staffed and the buffet was pretty bad. Wait until it has changed management before trying this one.

The great beds. It was in an amazing location and we walked to the restaurants and walked back.

Easy to find the place. Rude and unhelpful staff. There is always a problem with the parking sensor. When you asked for help, the rude staff will just point her finger to the valet people. No WIFI in the room and basically a tiny pool.

The room was very clean and the staff was helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the hotel provided Crab tree soap, lotion, and shampoo. The flat screen TV was big and had many good free channels.

Clean new. Had to pay 20.00 to self park in the lot next to the hotel. It was just perfect for our overnight.

Very good location. Good location, comfortable room/bed, fair price through Priceline. We enjoyed it, but the parking charge was expensive.

Renovated room, flat screen TV. Expensive parking, smoke odor in the bathroom, poor quality in room dining.

I like the check in person. She was very nice. Hotel was hard to find, pool was small, and they charge for Internet use in business center. I think if they had a shuttle go to the train station, a bigger pool, better cable channels, and a free Internet usage in the business center it would be perfect.

Clean and convenient. The doormen were super helpful! The front desk was unhelpful and unfriendly. Parking was expensive! The hotel was great. The front desk concierge was really unfriendly and not helpful at all when asking for a good place to eat. The door men (we talked to a few) were really nice, told us where to eat and helped with bags - they were great! One down side was the parking - there is no on street parking and the garage costs - $20-$24 a day!
