The hotel is nice, rooms are a little cramped, the room key use for the elevator can be painful, and parking is expensive for such a dinky town. The location is great so that made it worth the price. I stayed for 2 days and the maids never touched my room even for towels. Odd for such a nice place.

It was a nice hotel and a great location. The hotel needs to work on the parking situation.

I just spent last weekend at this Hilton and EVERY room has a view of the beach and the ocean. There are beautiful 1st floor cabanas, and suites that have a deck, which was wonderful for sunbathing and for sitting out on a starry night. The cost was within my budget and the room was quite comfortable. The bell staff was quite friendly and helpful. The restaurant with the seafood buffet was delicious, but the waiter unattentive for the only thing he had to keep up with - drinks. There are a few eating places within the hotel and many more within walking distance. We went to Bubba Gumps, in a plaza that is practically attached to the hotel with lots of shops, a movie theatre and evening hot spots. All within 500 - 750 feet of your room, so no driving. One of the most expensive things was the parking of $14.00 a day. I was at the hotel with a large goup and the elevators did not act up and there were only a few clogs at the elevators the whole weekend. This is definitely a place I will be returning to, as soon as possible. It can be quiet and relaxing or beach and fun! Spa on property, along with a pool and hot tub.

They were over an hour getting us checked into our room. When I contacted the front desk for a blanket it took over an hour to finally get the blanket. The water pressure in the shower was terrible I would have been better off taking a bath in the sink. If you dont do valet parking which is about 15 dollars a day you then have to pay 8 dollars a day to park in the parking lot across the street and drag all of your items across a very busy street. The rooms wasnt as nice as I would have expected from the Hilton. I have stayed in nicer rooms at Hampton Inns.

Beach is located right outside the hotel. Beach activities also available. Shopping nearby. Hotel dining fair, but lots of small diners and fast food restaurants short walk from hotel.

The rates were very reasonably priced for this 4-star hotel located directly on the beach. The staff was friendly and courteous at all times. The rooms were clean. The views are nice, even on the non-beach side, where you can see the sun set. I am from Texas and enjoy fine steak. The Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse is overpriced for the mediocre a la cart meals. The chicken caesar salad was dry. The waiter brings out a plain baked potato with some cheese and bacon on the side. No mouth-watering steak here. He thought we were beneath him probably due to our ?accent? which he pointed out and provided substandard service for such an overpriced steakhouse. There is a drink bar located by the pool, which served the BEST strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas with fresh luscious strawberries and sweet pineapples with thick whipped cream on top. Alcohol or not?these are a must for you and your family/children! You can rent a beach chair right on the beach for about $8 until 4:00pm, but you can simply take your beach towels to sit/lie on. The beach was not crowded at all even though it was spring break. While some guest seemed annoyed with hotel security, we were very pleased with the amount of time they took to ensure the people on the premises were actual guests. Always have your hotel key with you and/or make sure your guests/children know their room number if possible. It was a very nice overall experience!!

When you walk in the hotel lobby you feel right away that its a luxorius hotel, the room was very clean, nicely decorated and comfy. The only downside was that the room did not have a refrigerator, but you can request one at no additional charge to your room. The staff was friendly and the food was good especially room service food. The poolside is nice and there is activities for kids in the pool area. They also have a jacuzzi and spa. I would recommend this hotel to anyone , its actually the nicest hotel on the strip on a prime location.

Keep in mind, my dad worked for a world-class cruise line, so I've had some pretty awesome birthdays! My hubby booked an oceanfront room with 2 doubles for my birthday. We've traditionally stayed at Hyatts for special get-aways, where we've had a problem occasionally getting the room we actually booked/paid for (ie paying for non-smoking riverfront view, but got a smoking view of hotel roof!). We had no such problem at this hotel. The staff was courteous, extremely pleasant, and accomodating. The oceanfront view was incredible (even to a Florida girl) and our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I've never slept so well in a hotel; their beds are a dream! We had two friends pop in and stay the night with us, and it wasn't even a tight fit. We had wireless internet access and enjoyed lounging in the room with the sliding glass door open to admit the ocean breeze. We used the roof-top pool and hot tub, thoroughly enjoyed the sand volleyball pit on the beach, and treated ourselves to virgin daquerris from the outside bar. We're a young couple (22 & 20 at the time of this stay) and so we have a tight budget, but even a fantastic room at the Daytona Hilton is an "affordable splurge" for most people, I think.All-in-all, a VERY relaxing, entertaining overnight stay and very memorable. I intend to make another wonderful memory soon with the help of Hilton!

We loved the location of this hotel. Once we got past the long check-in time everything else about this hotel was great. We especially enjoyed the free concert at the Daytona Bandshell on Saturday night topped off with a fireworks show over the water.

Location. The additional $17 valet or pay $9 to park in unsecured lot. Was very disappointed when I found out that I had to pay for the parking, but I looked past that at the gorgeous lobby and entrance area. Everything looked great including the beach. Once inside I realized that the pool was on the street side and not the beach side a real disappointment. Once I got in my room there was no balcony, the iron was broken, the closet doors would not stay on the tracks, and in the morning when I tried to take my shower the water pressure would go from normal to nothing more than a drip. I though this was just a high us time, but several hour later when my wife took her shower it was the same case. To anyone who reads this I fully recommend the Wyndham next door to the north. I finished my trip there and it certainly lived up to a 3 star rating and excited it in many ways.

My husband and I spent most of the day waiting on our room to get ready. We were finally in our rooms after 5:00 p.m.!! The parking was across the very busy street too far away. I am so glad our children were not with us. We waited in line an hour TWICE to try and check in (the first time we waited an hour to get told our room was not ready yet and the second time when it was ready, we had to still wait in the hour line again just to get our key). There was no where to pull up our car in the circle for registration upon arrival- total traffic jam. Cars were parked in the busy street and horns were blazing constantly due to the traffic back up. We will never stay there again. The room was nice (small) but the trouble getting into our room was not worth the location.

Upon checking in we had to wait until they found us an "Orbitz Room" even though we paid more for our room so we did not have to get whatever was available. The room was small, walls very poor as it was noisy from other rooms. Only small tv, old hairdryer, no fridge, no microwave, hardly nothing but two beds, a phone, and a lamp. Pool was dirty and the staff allowed to many kids with rafts into the pool. Outside pool bathrooms were extremley dirty. What we had thought would be a great hotel next to the boardwalk was anything but nice.
