This hotel is inside the chicago airport, so it is a prime location if you have to stopover briefly at ORD. There's definitely no reason to stay there more than one night. Maybe they feel they have a captive audience, but they could do a lot better to cater to what is probably their core business, air travelers. I arrived late and there was only one person on duty checking in, with 5 people waiting. There were kiosks to do automatic check-in to the hotel, but you can't use them if you reserved on Orbitz or other service. No room service late at night, the only thing open in the hotel was the bar which had pizza but it was terrible and took them 20 minutes to prepare. At checkout the kiosk tried to charge me >$100 extra though I had already prepaid the reservation. The kiosk is supposed to be able to print boarding passes but it didn't work for American Airlines. Signage to walk between hotel and airport was poor.

Nothing. Parking. Only good if flying in. Paid $45 per night for parking at hotel plus $13 per day for parking at convention center, plus $11 per night for use of gym, plus $19 per day for use of internet. Even if free it is not a good deal.

Overall, hotel was nice. It is not 4 star, however, which is the level that Priceline has it rated. Hotel is literally connected to O'Hare terminals, which I did not know. Beds were pretty comfortable, but every decent hotel has nice bedding these days. Granite countertops, nice towels and linens, and LCD TVs are all nice touches. However, selection of channels was limited and if you don't have an HD signal, the LCDs are pretty much worthless anyway. Staff was not friendly at all- from the woman who checked us in to everyone else we encountered. The bellman did get me a luggage cart to use at checkout, which was very helpful and appreciated. Other than that, no one else was helpful. Parking is a an absolute travesty. your options are: a) 45 for valet, b) 30 to park in an outdoor lot across the street (5 minute walk), c) 16 for the airport economy, which who knows how far away. Also, you can hear planes taking off and landing, but it is faint- you would have to be a light sleeper for the noise to disturb you. Lastly, the train is very convenient to the hotel- just walk inside the airport. However, it takes a minimum of 50 minutes to get into the city, and can regularly be 90 min. On Fri, Sat, and Sun nights, they do maintenance on the tracks (not sure how long this will last)- so if you are on the train, they make you get off, get on a shuttle bus which takes you to the next stop. Annoying. Took us about two hours to get back to the hotel from the city that night. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it is ridiculously inconvenient.

We were offered very gracious service by all the staff we met. We stayed twice in ten days going to and from our destination. We found the location to be excellent for us and the restaurants were very well appointed. The only drawback to our stay both times was the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms were not up to standard and we were quite surprised but to tired to complain.

Convenience. Charged $9.04 for toiletries that are free at most hotels. Ideal location, comfortable beds, restaurants just okay for their overpriced charges. Toiletries costing $9.04 for a tiny tube of toothpaste, a tiny packet of shaving cream, a thow-a-way razor and a plastic.

This is a good hotel for meeting's. You get off of your flight and 5 to 10 mins walk over to the hotel. Best yet,you are inside all the way. If you want to go downtown, hop the blue train and away you go. On work day's coming from town in the afternoon, give yourself a little time as the train is jamed packed. You may not get on it and will have to wait for another. I had to wait 3 trains.A overnight lay over, this is the place.

I was just there for the night so I didn't have a lot of time there, but the room was very clean, the lounge area was nice and the drinks were good, and the bed was very comfortable and I slept well.

The Hilton O'Hare is a great location for layover travelers. Valet parking was expensive (*/day) and limited. I had to park in the economy lot (huge savings). Fortunately there is complimentary train service to the airport/hotel. Access to the airport and CTA is convenient from the Hilton O'Hare. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Nice, inexpensive breakfast conveniences available in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel to travelers with a layover in Chicago, or business in the area. I was disappointed there was not a pool for my children to enjoy.

We arrived during a December snowstorm in Chicago. It was so nice to just pick up your bags at the airport carousel and then take the elevator down to the lower level and walk right to the hotel without going outside at all. The next morning we were able to walk to the terminal, check our bags, and then go back to the comfort of the room, watch TV, order in breakfast, etc., rather than sitting in the airport waiting areas, as checkout wasn't until noon. Very convenient and relaxing.

Proximity to airport. Cannot drop off bags (arriving by car) to check in; parking fee high. Big screen TV did not work. When it was fixed too difficult to get regular channels (instructions poor). Too much furniture for size of room.

I was worried that we'd hear planes all night, but we never heard one. Great beds, easy access to airport. El entrance is right off the lobby.

Nice to be able to fly in to an airport and go straight to your room after a late flight. The room was very comforatable and quiet considering it is at O'Hare Airport.

The Hilton Hotel located right outside of OHare Airport was a very pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good with many choices. They have many options to choice from to get downtown. The hotel provides a driver with limouse service. There are also cabs and the subway is only a short walk away to go downtown for a shopping trip or to see a show. The staff was very helpful on providing options for transportation, places to eat and things to see. We enjoyed our stay.

If you need to be across the street from the hotel, you're there. Sub par room, semi-rude staff, don't even have complimentary toothpaste. I've stayed at a lot of hotels both in Chicago and around the country. I would rather have stayed at a Holiday Inn that the O'Hare Hilton. You have to pay $46 to park at the hotel, or $16 in economy airport parking and take a bus. We had both forgot toothpaste and they didn't even have complimentary toothpaste. If you're this close to the airport you have to be getting travelers who are stranded, the least you can do is give them toothpaste when they pay for a room. I would never stay there again or recommend it.

"For central location, and a quick meeting, this is the place. Great conference rooms for small groups and you can get on a plane in minutes. The hotel needs more restaurants, though."

The Hilton O'Hare is in a descent location, but that doesn't make up for the hefty price. The last time I stayed here I thought it was spendy, but dealt with it for the location. This time there were just too many problems. Parking was $45 a night. six of the eight elevators weren't working. the room was hot and the only suggestion the front desk gave was to shut off the heat and open the window. Not a bad plan except then you have the exhaust fumes form the airport pouring into your room. There is no pool. Internet access was $13 a night. I ended up changing hotels and it was the best move for me. I doubt I will ever stay at the Hilton O'Hare again.

Soap smelled good. Very easy access to Metro. Service was poor. Felt like we were an inconvenience to them. The hotel was nice, and the access to the metro could not be better (accessible from the basement). But service was awful. First, they wouldn't let us use their baggage carts. Second, their response to our request to do so was surly. Third, it took a long time to check in. Fourth, despite the fact that we had made two room reservations together, we had to stay three floors apart - certainly not what we wanted, and it would have been disastrous if we had been traveling with - but planning to have separate rooms from - children. Generally, we felt like we were inconveniencing the hotel staff, when we merely made normal requests. The only good part was that they allowed us to check our bags for the afternoon after we checked out while we went into Chicago, and it was a quick checkout.
