We stayed here for a business conference. We were surprised at how small the rooms were upon check-in; asked if there was anything larger available and they informed us that all rooms were this size unless upgrading to a suite for additional . Other than the size, they were well furnished and professionally decorated. Internet access is not included, so expect to pay extra for that. Nice toiletry items and soft towels were a plus. They staff was friendly and professional; were courteous and assisted me with locating a box and packing tape to ship items home. Went to their 4th floor biz office to ask about my airlines baggage rules; was promptly helped. They printed out the info from the airlines website without being asked to. Bellmen and other staff were exceptionally friendly, offering to carry bags and running to open doors. Ate 2 times in the hotel restaurant and found it to be pricey , but good. They pour a strong drink and offer pleasant conversation while you're sitting at the bar. Only complaint besides the small room is that there was no lobby with TV?s or sports bar; so we had to walk across the street to another's hotel bar to watch football games. Building was originally built by the Masons, so its foyer is pretty neat. Ask the bartender and they'll tell you about the building's history. It was renovated a few years back and is in good condition w/upgraded room furnishings. Location is 3-4 blocks from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street.

We were pleasantly surprised. We were there for Mardi Gras. The hotel was close to the French Quarter, Jackson Square, the River Walk and it was on the route of all the major parades. We were able to walk every where. They even provide parade stands (extra charge, but well worth it!). Even with all the noise on the streets our room was quiet. Our room was large, clean; a bed to die for and the hotel service was excellent. The restaurant food was so delicious we ate there almost everyday. I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

Got a great weekend rate for two rooms. The service and friendliness of the staff was superior. The gentlemen out front and the front desk could not be more friendly. My mother loved the comfort of the beds. We dropped by the bar for a drink and chatted with the guys preparing the oysters. This is a great place and will make you feel comfortable.

The Hilton hotel was very clean and comfy but did not have a refrigerator in the room and only valet parking available.The staff was more than helpful and very proffesional.Its location is great.I would recomend it to any of my friends with no doubt.

Not sure where cherie m stayed, but this hotel opened on March 23 AFTER Mardi Gras. But is a great place and close to all attractions.

Non-smoking room was not available. Had to pay $50/night to switch. Great location. Walking distance to French Quarter and Riverwalk attractions. Trolley car in front of hotel for Uptown attractions. Nice room for a great price, but check in early or you may be left on the smoking floor.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and had friendly service. The high cost of parking. The service was great, the decor was tasteful and the overall experience was nice. The cost of parking, at the Hilton New Orleans is prohibitive, as it is at other hotels near the French Quarter. It caused us to stay at the Hilton for two nights and then head out to a three-star hotel by the airport that doesn't charge for parking.

The staff was very helpful, dignified yet friendly not stiff acting. My non-smoking room smelled of smoke which I was disappointed in. The history of the hotel and the upscale feeling were wonderful. It was close enough to walk to most things but yet away from the chaos.

The space of my room was nice. The size of TV, no WiFi in room and had to pay for internet charges. We had a wonderful stay, The size of the room was beyond our expectation. But if you get a room in front like we did, It's quite noisy.
