Overall my experience was a positive one, and the hotel is beautiful. The only negative things I would say is the the rooms were very small, and that it was $21 per night for parking. This should be noted somewhere on the web site. You can park across the street in public parking but that is $15 and you cannot come and go with your car.

Location. Over priced. This is by far my most disappointing hotel experience. The hotel is extremely old, and needs major renovation. I have come to expect top quality of the Hilton brand, and this property is the polar opposite. I would only consider returning upon a complete and major renovation. The property is over priced, and is not worth one hundred plus dollars per night. From broken blinds, to soiled linens, to cracked showers. I was totally disappointed.

The Netherland is a very comfortable hotel, beds are wonderful! I had an accessible room that was very well designed, esp. the bathroom. Bathroom was exceptionally clean. Bed linens truly deluxe, and loved the huge bathsheet towels. Great restaurants with delicious food and good service, and not over-priced. Room service is also very reasonable, and right on time with early breakfast. Front desk people are very gracious. Only thing they need to do is have a doorman on duty early in the morning, or at least turn on the automatic door at the main entrance for use by disabled (it was turned off, I guess due to the cold weather). Hotel not only has restaurants and room service, it's also located on top of a food court in an adjoining indoor mall, where you can get a very inexpensive meal at Subway and other typical mall food places.

Very close to "the Great American Ballpark" was great. We asked clerks about where to eat supper and no one mentioned a food court in the very same hotel. We discovered the food court the next day ourselves while exploring.

Location was great, staff was helpful. They charge for internet usage. Nice hotel. Attached shopping center was nice, rooms were nice.

I've stayed here many times, and love it. A great art deco hotel, a usually a little more expensive than the run-of -the-mill hotel. . Very convenient to downtown ; spacious rooms, friendly staff, super workout facility with pool and hottub. Shopping right downstairs. I've spent hours exploring the artwork and architecture wilthin the hotel.

This hotel was great! The decor takes you back to the art deco era and makes you feel lavish and special. Our room overlooked the river and the staff was more than helpful. The only thing we didn't like was that the pool and spa was located downstairs in a separate gym/workout facility that lacked the 'special' atmosphere and closed at 8pm. Also, the parking was $21 if you chose valet and $15 if you parked across the street, which you aren't informed about unless you ask. But honestly it was a great stay.

I originally gave them hotel guys a good review after they messed up my order and apologized and more than made up for it. But not atfer being here for a while, I find the entire staf, from the door man to the generla manager to be lacking brain cells. And if you are fortunate to tru to communicate with one of them, they will transfer you to someone else so fast it will make your head spin. And then the person they transfer you to can not help and has to transfer you back to the person who trnasfered you to them in the firsdt place. Not worh a penny. Would never step foot in the dump again. Steve

Enjoyed the decor of the hotel but the room was small and not very well appointed but it was clean.

Excellent location, very helpful staff. Room just a tad small. Great hotel in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. We were in town for a show at Riverbend Music Center (PNC Pavilion) and it was a 10 minute drive. Will absolutely patron this hotel when we are in Cincinnati for anything. Only problem we had was coming in from the show and we just wanted a quick glass of wine and the bartender in the hotel bar informed us they were closed, even though there were probably 20 people sitting around with cocktails. I didn't see why he couldn't just serve us since so many were still there. No big deal, though.

Beyond gorgeous suites and superb customer service, if you ever have the heart to try one of the most sinfully delicious deserts, call room service; ask them to bring you up a slice of Chocolate Decadence. Tell them ? from Florida recommended them. They know me. You will get a service you wish you had in every hotel stay.

I arrived and was told they were overbooked and they had put me in another hotel on the other side of town. I had specifically booked the room because of the location its proximity to the locations I needed to be. If I had to be moved, I would have missed appointments. After much heated discussion, however, they gave me in a room in the hotel, albeit a "parlor room" with a temporary bed. Why we needed to fight if they had a room is beyond me. Also they did not contact me in advance of this change, claiming they did not have my contact information, because I booked through Orbitz. Clearly, however, they could have that information from Orbitz or had Orbitz contact me. Nevertheless, changing hotgels would have been unacceptable. As it is, I still did not get what I paid for. And I don't believe this is the typical "overbooked" situation in which they merely had a reservation. My room was prepaid, so they already had my money. I will never reserve a room in that hotel again!

Historical gem in center of downtown surrounded by the best the city offers. I know its historic, but it's not up to the other 4stars in town, i.e., the Cincinnatian Hotel.

The only reason that I would stay at this hotel again is because of its location. The hotel is connected to a mall and several restaurants. Macy's is right around the corner. The staff was friendly and somewhat helpful. The hotel lounge and bar was very nice but way overpriced! On the down side, i have stayed at several hilton hotels and this one does not measure up to hilton name. The deluxe double bedrooms turned out too be very small and not very tidy. I couldn't tell if housekeeping actually came in and cleaned our rooms while we were out. Upon checking out we found a Samuel Adams beer bottle under the bed which had obviously been left by the previous guests. Overall, my stay was okay, but not worth the money.

Great Hotel but for $150.00 it should have included contnintal breakfast (cost $33.00 for two people off a buffet bar where most of the food was cold), and it cost another $21.00 per night to park there. This is robbery, why don't they charge for toilet flushes and window views? When I price a hotel I want all the charges included. We were not told that breakfast was not included, nor told that the parking was an additional $21.00 a night. What a rip off!

Bathroom was nice. They charged $10 a day for the internet. The cable quality was pretty weak. The internet was not free. The Jacuzzi was dirty. The pool room could have been cleaner. The bathroom equipment was nice, because well, it's a Hilton. The bed was nice and the staff was informative.

The staff was excellent, from the front desk to valet service. I was a little disappointed with the size and appearance of the room. It was small for the price and everything seemed a little outdated (The television and decor). Although they describe the hotel as being "historic" I was still expecting more from an Hilton Hotel. The location was perfect; walking distance from the stadium. Parking is a little expensive $21 a night. But nothing to complain about because the attendants were always nice and eager to assist you. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Very beautiful hotel aith a lot of amanities and dining options. The healthclub and shopping were very nice. In my room, the bathroom door would not close/ lock. The air conditioning stayed at 74 degrees and there was no way to change it. I found the valet a nice option, but it should not be mandatory. It gets expensive to have to tip someone every single time I need my car. I am perfectly capable to park my own car and it should be an option as it forces me to tip every time.

The lobby's and public spaces were beautiful. Their business center was too small and they charged too much. Lovely to look at, the rooms were small, the bathroom was tiny, only one person in it at a time. They seemed to charge for every little thing from $3.50 for a 6 oz. Water bottle that is placed in the room for you, to 45 cents a minute to use their business office computers.
