Service was good - toilet didnt work - fixed right away. Needed bandaid - received it right away. But, I thought from the description of the hotel that internet service was available and free - dragged my laptop and found it there was a large cost. Nice that you could print out plane tix from a free printer in lobby. Best thing was the light rail service to the airport a few blocks away - but not well publicized.

Great hotel, awesome location, super friendly staff. When checking in there was one person in front of me with only one person at the desk and before I knew it, two people came rushing out to staff the desk. The person helping me apologized up and down for my wait (which was less than 2 minutes), gave me a map with great directions on how to get everywhere I needed. The hotel is connected to the skywalk which goes all around downtown MPLS, so you can easily get to the convention center (short walk inside or out!), shopping, dining, and all the nearby events. I used a Travelocity "GoodBuy" and the deal was outstanding. This hotel FAR exceeded my expectations based on other places I've stayed in for the same price! One tip though, is that you'll pay for parking wherever you are, so check into that ahead of time! The hotel has underground parking connected to the skywalk and hotel, so that's nice for uncertain weather and convenience.

I am usually a big fan of Hilton, I am a HH member and usually prefer to stay with Hilton. All of that changed last night upon my arrival. The front desk gave away my non-smoking room and offered either a smoking room or accommodations at another hotel. I thought I could handle a smoking room, I was wrong. Getting off the elevator I was immediately hit with a wall of cigarette smoke. As I made my way to my room it got worse so I went to the front desk and pleaded for a non-smoking room. Of course the rude manager told me they had nothing and that would have to put me up at a "very nice" hotel down the street. I was assured it was clean...It is not....I assured it was in a safe place....it is not...I was assured I wasnt going to be charged....I was. All in all stay far away from this Hilton, their staff will not go out of their way to make your stay comfortable as most other Hiltons do.

Location close to many venues and restaurants. Was stuck in a smoking room with double beds. Rooms need updating some.

We went to Minneapolis for a concert and we stay the night we did not expect to have the service we had. It was great, clean room and very comfortable bed - we will stay there next time we visit!

It was a nice room, but not for the price. I was told that there was a jacuzzi in the room, and there was not. Paid way too much for what the room was...kind size bed, that's it.

Stayed Christmas weekend - location is great - on the skyway and close to everything. Room was nice but not exceptional - service was good - restaurant was good. Really nice that there were not a lot of crowds over the holiday weekend. Will stay there again.

The part about the Downtown is the parking.....it really is not attractive, at all. The hotel is very clean and well done, would stay again.

Great location, helpful staff, comfortable rooms. Simple luxury in a superb location - the heart of downtown Minneapolis. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, whether traveling for business or leisure. It's quiet, clean, and will leave you feeling a bit pampered.

We stayed here when we were @ college orientation. I loved being 2 blocks from Nicollet Mall. We parked our car & didn't drive it again until we left. We could walk or use the light rail to get anywhere we needed to go for the weekend. Loved being able to walk to the Holidazzle parade. I would stay here again in a heart beat. It would be nice to have a fridge & microwave, though.

This is simply a great place to stay. It is right in the center of downtown and right across the street from Orchestra Hall. There are nearby restaurants and many other things within walking distance.

I travel to MN often. The surrounding hotels are mid range at best. Small rooms, average food. That isn't the case here. The HIlton has excellent food, nice rooms, easy checkin & checkout, excellent location, perfect meeting rooms... I won't stay any place else again, as long as they keep up the good work.

View from 23 rd floor was cool. Copper river salmon tasted poor. OK not 4 stars parking was a lot extra.
