Date of Stay: March, 2009

I had previously stayed at this hotel a year ago and thought the place was run down then. However, against my better judgement I decided to give the place another shot, after all I thought possibly I had been unfair and was just grumpy after my trip because I had been kept wake all night by a group of teenagers after their prom. Upon arriving, I quickly remembered, the lobby is deceiving, because it is not reflective of the rest of the hotel. The beds were very uncomfortable and trying to leave was nothing short of a nightmare because of huge numbers of kids from who knows where playing on the elevators, running up and down the halls and even blocking elevators and waiting on friends. I am in Lafayette frequently and I will never stay at this hotel again. There are many others with well run, clean and nice hotels... Sorry Hilton, although we enjoy looking at the river from your windows, we will never be back.

Very nice hotel. Very clean. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. The view onto the river was very pretty. Very central location with plenty of eating places nearby. Also close to shopping.

I felt that this hotel suited exactly what I needed and I loved the price. Some of my friends stayed at the Hilton Garden in and paid 3X what I paid, I was very satisfied.

be kidding me! This hotel is the biggest ripoff EVER. Start with $* per night. Way over priced...should be more like $* a night TOPS, for the quality of the rooms. Me and a co-worker went to the lounge to watch a Monday night football game. The beer was cold and cost was $* EACH...another ripoff. Had 2 and went to my room. Got up the next morning, I skipped on the coffee in the room and went down to the lobby hoping to find at least some good hot coffee. I found it in the entrance to the buffet room. Guess how much for a cup of coffee??? $*...yup I said it right $*! I waited awhile and went to the so-called buffet....big disapointmet. Had a couple of items....price? $*! This was a business trip and my company picked up the tab but, I felt bad about turning this one in on my expense report. My best advice is unless you have money rolling out your wazoo, DON'T STAY HERE!!!

This was me and hubby's first time at the Hilton in Lafayette. Was pretty good for a three star. Check in smooth, quick. Room spacious, clean, gourmet coffee machine. Never tried room service. Had lounge/bar with pool table, large full service bar, table/chairs, and good size dance floor. Yes, there is a DJ on designated nights. Ample parking. Hotel not far from variety of restaurants. Casinos short drive away (none in Lafayette). Hotel service was very good. Would stay at this hotel again.

It's average. Pool appeared dirty. Unable to get receipt showing zero balance on credit card left at desk. We are very glad we pricelined this hotel. There is no way we would have paid full price. The staff was not overly friendly. When asked if we could have one king instead of two fulls. Not I'm sorry we don't have that available. I've used Priceline before and they are able to change if available. Pool appeared dirty and cracked tile.

The hotel is well situated; staff is friendly and extremely competent; beds are very comfortable;rooms are spacious, and the shower is strong. But a convention of Christian youth groups at the hotel were extraordinarily loud, rude, and obnoxious. They awakened us at 7:00 AM Sunday morning--there were a dozen or so speaking loudly and laughing outside our door. They would not lower their voices when asked; staff arrived promptly once called, and the group became quieter. Kids in the group played games with the elevators; so, they were sooo slow all weekend. Hellish--really.

This hotel has been around for some time, yet it was very nice and clean. It still looks like it is as good as when it was new. I was very pleased!

Nice room good view. Extra charge for everything. added 30.00 per day to price. Nice large room, but extra charge for micro, refrig, and internet. added 30 per day to price of room. Took extra day to get refig. Room service pricey for the food.

The Hilton was very comfortable, the king bed was very comfortable as we both have back problems. we also liked the fact that there were lots of pillows. the bathroom was very nice also. the location was just enough out of the conjestion but close enough to every we needed. we enjoyed our stay very much.

The rooms were very modern and updated. Breakfast items were over priced. The coffee packets in room were not repleneshed daily. It was very clean and location was great. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

friendliness and helpfulness of the staff located in a great place not too far from the downtown district yet close to the mall shopping district. Very good location. I will definitely want to stay there again on my next visit to Lafayette.

The brand Hilton. Restaurant was deserted in the evening. Lobby looked large, lonely and unappealing. Non-smoking rooms on the ground floor, were through a shabby 2 door entrance, that made you think that this was a staff entrance to the back of the house. Bed and bathroom's were clean and well maintained.

I love that the room was very clean and staff was very helpful. I like the hotel so much I had to go back to Lafayette the next weekend after my 1st stay. I booked a room for the next weekend the will be my hotel to stay while I was visiting.
