I have stayed at other hotels in and around the Governors Plaza. The hilton provides great friendly, helpful service. They were very accomodating to my elderly aunts room location needs. We were able to check in several hours early. Breakfast at the hotel cafe, although not included in the price, was very good.

Great decor. Parking. Excellent location, great staff, very clean and modern rooms.

We were there spring of 08 and it needed help. Worn, need renovating and some outright repairs. Unfortunately, it is of a particular period of construction that was not a high point for american hotels. Small bathrooms, no dressing area or second sink, long dark hallways, small rectangular rooms etc. These are things only a wrecking bar can fix! Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Location was great - just a couple of blocks from any activity - but the hotel really wasn't up to par. I'd put it barely at 3 stars and is truly overpriced. It was clearly a "well-used" hotel and could do with some serious upgrading. We had an oversize king room, but the toilet was small and there was a obvious lack of furniture in the room. Bed was as advertized and comfy, but the biggest problem in the room was the A/C, which was terribly noisy and not especially effective. Restaurant was pretty good for (buffet) breakfast and evening meal, at least it was for me! My wife had an inedible steak for our first and only dinner there, which she sent back. The item was deducted from our bill. Front desk people were courteous and friendly. Bottom line - we won't stay there again. There are nicer hotels in town.

I just returned from a fabulous stay at the Hilton Santa Fe. We were there for 3 nights...and I wish we had scheduled it for four nights. The location is just amazing. The pool and hot tub were clean with easy access. The outdoor fireplace was a perfect place for visitors to sit around and meet new people. We had a wonderful time. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice and clean. The outdoor pool is great, but starts at 3ft if you are bringing children keep this in mind. This is a great place for families to go and have fun without a lot of hype. It's just a nice hotel, with a wonderful friendly staff, and perfectly located near the plaza.

I liked the location. The back area was not as well kept as the front.

This hotel needs serious remodelling & the staff need to learn to help. The wind blew the curtains into the room through the poorly sealed French door. The staff fixed this with duct tape! I was looking forward to staying in a Hilton, but it was worse than Super 8. The front desk ignored us & our 1yr old twins.

The wonderful bathrooms. The noise outside. We were very pleased with our rooms and the cozy bar.

Nice lobby with free flavored water, chips and salsa. 1st floor room had window air leak that whistled, no problem to switch rooms. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

About 2 blocks from the Plaza you can not beat the location. My husband can not walk far so this was great for us. It is also far enough away to be quiet. The hotel was undergoing a renovation so the pool was closed which was a disappointment. The room was nice and quiet and pleasant. We tried all the dining areas and had no complaints. The service was very attentive and helpful from the maid service, to the maintainance crew, to the front desk. I am sure the hotel will even be more improved when the remodeling is finished. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The tour manager at the hotel helped us book two daily tours with Southwestern Tours, which were wonderful. Also they served non-alcoholic drinks and salsa & chips in the lobby most every day. The southwestern decor of the hotel was also lovely. A very nice stay!

Location. Have to pay for wireless. Even the cheap hotels give away wireless.

The location. There was a black bug in my bed. Old & needing updating (the curtain was falling apart). Centrally located in the best part of Santa Fe.

The proximity to the plaza. No microwave oven in room to re-heat coffee. The hotel was quite comfortable and clean with nice facilities, and convenient to the plaza. We frequent Santa Fe and were unaware of this hotel previously, but would definitely stay there again.

It's close location to downtown Santa Fe. Would have liked a pool. Great location and it is within walking distance of all the tourist attractions. Clean rooms, bathroom and shower. The breakfast we ate in the restaurant was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
