Good experience. Nice location very closed to the Chinatown.

We had an amazing view of the city and the bay.

The hotel has a nice ambience, the rooms are comfortable, and it has a great location just off of Chinatown. However, the room I got was located right next to the elevators and I could hear them go up and down all day (and night long). Not what I expected from a Hilton. The hotel clerk gave me a tip that all the double bed rooms are like this so perhaps it would be better if one just avoided them. I don't think I'll be back.

I was very impressed by this hotel. We booked a room for a weekend getaway mainly to watch the Giants vs. Cardinals games Friday and Saturday at AT&T park. Check in was quick and without knowing what room we would be in ended up being on the 27th floor with a bay view. Parking across the street is only 20 a night. There are mulitple cafe's a few blocks away and we came back to the resturant restuarant/bar area for desert which was excellent. Pretty much in chinatown and only a 1 mile away from the park.

Bed and pillows were nice and very comfortable. The workout room was nice and equipped with water/apples/towels. The side of the room where we stayed was very noisy. We were first given ear plugs. The hotel was not accommodating in moving us to another room until our last night. The Bayside was much better and quieter. The restaurant's food was very good. Due to being on a special diet they were not willing to accommodate changes in the menu items and charged me $5 for a sliced tomatoes.

Each year my partner and I come up to SF for Pride. We were able to get a great rate on the room since we booked so early. But what we did not expect was so find such a great hotel. Our views were stunning, and the hotel was just a short walk from the Bart stations and Market street. For the first time ever, we just might stay at the same hotel again next year!

Clean. Very small room, dirty windows. I would have rated this hotel at 3.5 stars. It is not in financial district but actually in China Town..just outside financial district. Our room was small for a four star hotel, though beds were comfortable etc. and the room itself was clean.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 previous times (When it was a Holiday Inn-It was great), My stay this time as a Hilton was hurtful. $54.00 a day for parking plus tip (Across the street at Portsmouth Parking it was $26.00 a day.) $20 for a cheap breakfast and $6 for a cappachino. If you are on business let your company pay these outrageous rates okay. Otherwise, go somewhere else

This hotel is great!!!. Everything is good at Hilton. They will provide you with an excellent customer service and stuff. Our room was nice and clean. We picked a bay view room with king size bed. We have really enjoyed our trip to SF and the quality of the Hilton hotel. GOOD LOCATION!!!

First off we got in 3 hours before check in time and they let us check in early. There is construction being done next door to the hotel right outside our window and not once was I disturbed by an noise. The room/bathroom was really clean and the beds were sooo comfortable. It is right smack in the middle of chinatown cool shops. I don't recommend eating sushi there (Sushi Boat bad service) I had to ask for my meal 3 times and they still didn't bring it my boyfriend and I ended up leaving! Alfrds steakhouse which is right next door to the hotel was delicious, pricey but great food! Be aware that you will have to pay for parking your car $30 overnight parking per day without being able to take your car in and out, or $54 for valet but your able to take your car in and out as much as you wish. I recommend just leaving your car, everything is literally walking distance and cable cars are available to take you around. North beach is awesome a lot of bars and clubs not family friendly at night, a lot of cops and party people. I can't wait to come back!

If you like noisy rooms with street noise from 20 floors below coming into your room like you were at street level because the hotel lacks proper sound insulation, or you welcome hearing the TV in the room next to you while you try to sleep then this is the place for you. If you like a $20 breakfast of just plain oatmeal, ordinary toast and average coffee then you will love the price you pay at this Hilton. For * bucks we got a room with a view, more street noise than I could believe, a TV next door that when turned to a reasonable volume sounded like it was in our room, casual chatting in the room above us sounding like a war zone, and comfortable beds. Oh, and one more thing, the wonderful* dollar Hilton overnight parking charge was so nice of them considering the cost of overnight parking right across the street is half of that. Its not that we are not well traveled, we are particularly well traveled on the world stage, its just that for $*dollars for a night at a hotel you should get so much more satisfaction than this Hilton provides.

This hotel is one of the nicest and most comfortable one's I have ever stayed in. The decor is COOL and ZEN like, very soothing for the weary travelor business or pleasure. I found the customer service very friendly and accomadating. I was even exended a courtesy late check out twice as I was running around trying to purchase last minute momentoes. I luv this hotel as this was the second time I stayed in it within the year. It will now be the place for me whenever I visit San Francisco. The location is almost central in that it's a short walk to China Town Or North Beach, a trolley ride to the Wharf or an inexpensive taxi ride to union square or down town!!

Stayed 4 nights with my best friend. We stayed at a Best Western last summer, but decided the Hilton looked like a much better deal and hotel this year. We were up on the 16th floor with a city view and double beds. The room was very clean. The only negative I can think of during our entire stay was there were only 2 outlets in the room that we had access to. They were being used for the lamps, coffee maker, and alarm clock so we had to unplug most of it if we needed to charge our phones or camera batteries. The bathroom outlet stopped working the last night of our stay, too. Aside from that everything else was great. The windows were pretty thin too so you could hear sirens or children playing, but what else would you expect from staying in a busy city - definitely didn't mind. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We arrived hours before the stated check-in time, but they were able to get us in a room right when we arrived. They were also able to hold our luggage for us after we checked out on our last day so we could continue to tour the city and go shopping. The location is PERFECT. It's just a 15 minute walk down Kearny to Market street and to catch all the great shopping stores. From the hotel, we could walk a couple blocks south to California to catch a cable car up to Powell which we could then catch another one straight up to the wharf. China Town is right across the street from the hotel and the entire Financial District is on the other side. My friend and I plan on making a trip to San Francisco an annual thing, and we definitely plan on staying at this Hilton again.

The concierge and staff was very helpful. The restaurants were very expensive. Loved the view. Easy access to Chinatown, and did I mention the view?

Easy check-in and -out. Nice view. Clean and super comfortable. The location was great for our total tourist vacation. Staff was helpful and cheerful. Our two shuttlebus drivers from/to SFO were crazy (fast) drivers using ill-maintained vehicles (seatbelt didn't work, shocks totally shot). I'd take the taxi or, if at all possible, Bart.

We got a Bay View room and it was worth every penny! Coit tower was directly centered on the window (which was the whole wall) with a view of the city life and the Bay - outstanding! After a day at the wharft for Fleet Week which was also outstanding, we walked to an Italian restaurant and had a great meal, then decided to walk back to the hotel. It was straight down Columbus and San Francisco is always interesting to walk around in.One note - there's probably nowhere in the City where it's safe after midnight or 1a.m. and this is no exception. However, we could watch the activities safely from our 17th floor room. We'll definitely go back again.

The hotel was a little older than we expected but the rooms were clean and the service was GREAT! The valet was very professional and the front desk was very prompt and courteous. The location of the hotel is a little deceiving. It is right in the middle of China Town not the Financial District. The surrounding area was very run down with slum-like buildings. The fitness center was very nice.

Good location. Close to China town, Union Square, nice restaurants on Columbus St. Rooms are a little small, a lot of outside noise/traffic noise until around 2:00 am.

I have paid parking fees before in San Fran but it was exceptional for this trip. The valet service was $46 plus tax which put at about $54 per day and if you add a tip, you are at $60 per day. It seemed that I could have parked myself but I didn't see an entrance to the self-parking facility. I am surprised that there wasn't a package for parking and breakfast made available upon checking in.
