Hotel was just OK for a four star rating. Its kind of tucked into a back street away from the action. Rooms are clean. Our room on the 14th floor had a lot of pelicans outside of our widows that kept us awake. Staff is OK. There is only one choice for eating at the hotel but there are numerous places to eat within a 10 block radius. Close to Quincy Marketplace.

Beautiful spacious rooms, centrally located. Valet parking only, mold in the bathtub caulking, receptionist was not too friendly. Beautiful spacious rooms in the heart of Boston's financial district. Centrally located. A short walk to everything downtown.

The location and front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Any questions I had and help requests were fulfilled extremely efficiently and promptly. My only complaint about the whole travel was the cleaning staff was rude and was slamming doors at 8am. I must say it is extremely frustrating to be woken up to the sound of a door slamming across the hall. Especially if you were out late the night before. For that very reason i am kind of iffy if I would stay at the Boston Hilton again. For the price of the room I would have expected the rooms to have a bit more sound proofing.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a mini-getaway before driving up the coast to Maine for a family reunion. We chose this hotel based on the location and the level of service that the Hilton could provide. We signed on for the "Romace Package" which included all you can eat breakfast buffet (which was our main reason for the package), and a bottle of champagne every evening. It was wonderful!!! The staff were very polite and attentive when needed. The hotel is centrally located to all of the main attractions. The start of the Freedom Trail is a 1/2 mile walk away from the hotel. The Aquarium is 1 block away. Great bars (the Black Rose- which is the best Irish Bar in town), are right around the corner. Great restaurants on the water are close by as well and the best Italian food (go to Giacomo's for lobster ravioli) is a short walk away as well.

The hotel was very clean but the rooms are very small. You know the room is small when you can open the door, brush your teeth and close the window all from laying in bed. The location is excellent. You are two blocks from Quincy market, four blocks from the North End and very close to the Aquarium. My wife and I enjoyed walking around Fanueil Hall and eating at our favourite restaurant, Houston's. Houston's is a great people watching spot for happy hour and the food is excellent.

The location. The room they gave me has people working on scaffolding outside the window in the morning.

We stayed here based on previous ratings--and we agree. It is a very nice hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful in getting us checked in and answering our questions. We were able to get great tips about things to do/see and places to eat from the concierge desk. The room was very clean, the bed was, indeed, very comfortable--which was perfect after a few days of walking all over Boston. Really, our only complaint was that the lobby smelled like Ben Gay everytime we walked through it, and we couldn't figure out why! Great location--so close to the Markets and lots of restaurants. Took about 10 minutes in a taxi to get to the airport, which was convenient. Close to the Freedom trail, the water, and the T train. Overall, we were very happy with our hotel choice!

This hotel is in an excellent location for anyone visiting Boston. It is on a quiet street which is within walking distance to many attractions such as the wharfs, North End restaurants, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall and the trolley tours. The room was spacious without a lot of extra furniture and the beds were like sleeping at home. I usually have difficulty sleeping the first night or two but not at this Hilton. After a long day of sightseeing, we looked forward to going back to the hotel to relax. Employees were exceptionally friendly and very professional. A definite keeper on our next trip back!

We came to attend our daughter's graduation from Berklee. The hotel, the room, the restaurant, and the service, especially our concierge, Willie, were all top drawer. It is simply incomprehensible, however, that in this day and age, we are expected to pay (and pay dearly!) for internet service. When I mentioned this to the desk clerk, he basically told me that none of the hotels in the Financial District offered free internet because their research showed that they didn't need to. I say, step up and go the extra mile!

Sleek room interior design. Expensive valet parking.

We were a little nervious booking in the Financial District for our pre-cruise stay (Fri-Sat) due to Seniors having limited walking tolerance, but went by the reviews and couldn't have picked a calssier, well-run hotel. As others have said, so close to Quincy Market (just walk about 2 blocks up to State Street. and over). Loved walking down the curving streets as well! Thanks to the Front Desk, and Bill, our Bellman for making our stay most pleasant! The hospitality and service by these two topped that of our cruise and now we wish we'd have just stayed at the Hilton for the week instead ( no lie.) Very classy. Thanks Again!

The location was wonderful. I cannot believe that a 4 star hotel does not have flat screen TV's.

This is a good place to stay as long as you don't have plans to travel away from downtown. The building is a little old, which leads to a slightly drafty room. Overall the place was great it is a 5-10 min walk to any place downtown, and after walking around all day it was nice to come back to a comfortable bed. There is no parking in the area at all though so don't rent a car unless you want to pay for valet.

The hotel staff was great! Very friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful. I was at the end of the hall on the 9th floor. The room had 5 windows with nice draperies. The room had high ceilings and crown molding. The bathroom was small but very nice. I would and probably will stay here next time I am in town.

The Hilton Boston Financial District was a very nice and clean Hotel with a very friendly atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The Hotel is situated close to everything in dowtown Boston within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and stores. My wife and I would recommend the Hilton to anyone and will probably without a doubt return again for another stay.
