The Hilton Tucson East is located in the miles and miles of strip malls of downtown Tucson, so in some ways you could be in "Anywhere, USA". Joann Fabrics to the left of you, Target to the right of you. We were visiting our son, however, for just a few days, and for our purposes, this Hilton was just fine. Clean and predictable, easy access to the airport, but I would not choose this hotel for a vacation. The pool area looked fun, but we didn't have time to take advantage of it. Room service seemed REALLY pricey for what you received, so we steered clear. We didn't eat at the hotel either.

Location. Noisy air conditioning system. Clean, basic hotel.

My husband and I stayed there for our wedding aniversary. We were very pleased with the hotel. The lobby was very nice and the room was great. We had never stayed in a Hilton before and we are going to back every year for our anniversary. My husband has a bad back and every other hotel we have stayed at had a bed that hurt his back, not this time. Their beds are awesome!!!! Definately recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is still under renovation. The lobby was torn up and workers were doing construction when we arrived. There is a 'temporary' cocktail lounge and buffet dining area set up on the 2nd floor terrace - very NO-frills! The breakfast buffet food was cold as was the coffee. The loud music by the elevators played all night long, despite complaints to the front desk. Couldn't get the shower very hot. Maid never made up the bed. NOT a very pleasant experience.

Tucson's Hilton East was the perfect location for our winter long weekend get-away. The hotel was centrally located so we could explore all of the areas of Tucson. The staff was friendly, the rooms were lovely, clean, and southwestern. The bed was super comfy!! We loved the restaurant/bar! Perfect for an end of the evening nightcap. With those 70 degree temperatures and the lovely accomodations, I would happily return to Tucson Hilton East next year!

front desk staff was very professional handling the difficult guest that was in front of me. housekeeping needs to step up their game. overall, good. could be very good if housekeeping had actually cleaned our room instead of just remaking the bed (same sheets). we requested towels not be changed, and they were. what bothered me most was the tortilla crumbs on the floor, when we checked in and the next day. we had requested a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room. hotel was booked, so no chance of changing room. pool was a bit cluttered, pool equipment (toys, etc) were all piled up in the pool, you couldn't get anything for your child if you tried.

We stay at this hotel fairly often. I have to admit our last stay was a bit trying with the renovation in full swing. Now, however, it's quite spectacular! The new entrance is fianlly handicap accessible, the entrance updated and modern, and restaurant beautifully appointed. The food was great too! This most recent stay we were in a room with a king bed. The bathroom is all new with a walk in shower. The room has an all new look including a new flat screen TV. As usual the staff at this hotel was fabulous! Great value for the price.

The staff is so attentive and really nice. They actually care if I am comfortable. They brought me a piece of birthday cake with a candle on my birthday--it was very much appreciated since I was away from my family on my birthday. I had room service. It was a good meal. The rooms were large and very clean. I had a wonderful time sitting by the pool with my laptop in the evenings catching up on work. It was very relaxing. Free WiFi. That's what I need. Everyone there said hello. Even my maid. Lots of parking and easy to get into and out of the place. Another plus for me. It has to be the most attractive hotel in Tucson and I like where it is. Close to the main roads--away from the one way streets and airport congestion. That made it all very convenient for me. I will definitely go back.

This is a beautiful hotel but I was very surprised at how dirty the carpeting was in the hallways. The pool was not particularly clean either.

Plush beds, clean facilities, andattractive pool area. Far from city center. This is a nice hotel! Staff is friendly, check-in was hassle-free. Pool is small, but nice and clean and they provide float toys for your pleasure. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the menu looked delicious. Only complaint were the other guests were loud (kids, bridesmaids), but we rarely ever saw other guests and this was graduation weekend! Really liked our room: bed is great and AC worked very well.

The room service and cleanliness was good. A few upgrades to the room would make this a better hotel; the a/c unit needs to be replaced - they are real loud. (do not stay here if your a light sleeper), and the water pressure in the shower was too strong. The pool was okay, but cleanliness could have been better.

I liked that it was clean and spacious. I thought that it had a microwave and refrigerator, traveling with kids, that would have come in handy. Overall it was nice but it didnt meet my requirements, traveling with kids. It is a nice hotel for just a couple on a little getaway.

Overall a very pleasant stay. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The personnel was very friendly and because I didn't have a car, they shuttled me to my appointment in the morning and picked me up in the afternoon. My only criticism was the service at breakfast was lacking.

It had a 24 hour fitness room with a lot of good equipment. The breakfast buffet was too expensive. This hotel has a gorgeous mountain view and great amenities. The 24 hour fitness room not only has a full set of free weights, but also two weight benches, an adjustable weight machine with over 8 different exercises, medicine balls, and cardio-vascular equipment. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of different types of food, however I found the $16.95 price tag a bit steep, but would say that it was mostly worth it.

Great staff, nice clean accommodations and attractive hotel. The rooms were nicer than expected, clean, great bed and nice layout. Convenient parking, easy check in and attentive staff. Concierge was especially helpful with directions to nearby events. Enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay there again.

I love the free parking and the over all atmosphere is good. As a sales representative I need access to a fax machine. It is very difficult not to be able to fax orders in daily without a charge. Not good!

"This was my first visit to this hotel and I will be back. Everything is inside, so you don't have to go out in the heat. Lots of Parking. Great rooms with granite and comfortable beds."
