You cannot beat the location of this beautiful and classy hotel in Dresden. The staff is polite and well spoken and confortable talking in English. Breakfast choices are great, kid friendly and the best part is that its a couple hundred yards from the beautiful Frauenkirche. Its walking distance from the bistros and historic Alt Markt as well and next door to the transportation museum and the Zwinger gallery. Worth every penny spent on the hotel!

I have never been to Germany before, and aside from it being a beautiful place, my stay at the Hilton had its part in stirring a desire to return. Everything you need is right there, located in the middle of Alt Markt, and right across from a gallery! Great location and great service.

Location. AC was poor. A nice, clean hotel with friendly staff in a great old town Dresden location that allows you to walk to everything.

The hotel was clean and modern and is centrally located in a mostly pedestrian zone except for pickup and drop off so we could wander the streets which were well lit at night. The breakfast buffet was very good but pricey at 22 Euros each. This is fairly standard for the Hilton's so it wasn't a surprise.I guess we will have to learn to eat more! The king non-smoking room was very comfortable with the usual amenities required by travelers. There was air conditioning or the window opened. It was nice as we could listen to the band playing by the cathedral.

Excellent location, right near the Frauenkirche, Zwingerhof, Gemaldegalerie, Grunes Gewolbes etc. Air-conditioning does not work properly.Room was warm and humid.

At first glance we were very pleased with the room. It was very spacious, and nicely furnished. Neither of us slept well though. It was too noisy outside to keep the window open, but without the window open it was too warm and stuffy to sleep.

The location is fabulous. Wireless internet access is a bit over priced. This hotel was in the shadow of the major sites in Dresden. Everything we wanted to see was easily within walking distance. Great shopping right outside our door.
