It was an amazing experience. I loved the pool but the biggest thing was the restaurant they have delicious food!!! I like everything about the hotel I would recomended to everyone. One more thing it is closevto the public transportation so you can save a little money in cabs....

Nonsmoking rooms. 28.00 dollars a day for parking at the hotel. Won't go back.

The rooms are very nice, it is 1/2 block from the bus station and the people mover so it;s like riding the subway. You can get to South Beach for 2.00 and meet some very interesting people. The restaurant is really not worth the price, the gratutity of 18% is added to every bill so there is no incentive for good service( which there is none of) and the food choices are expensive and not worth near the price. There are only 2 hamburger stands across the street so there is no choice unles you take a cab or bus or people mover (which is free. The pool is nice, the weather is fabulous and it is overall a good place to stay.

The hotel has internet problems, water problems and really is not a hilton type hotel. I had to ask to have my room made up at 4 in the afternoon because they had forgotten. I had been out of room all day. This is just a poorly run hotel. With out the bar staff and pool it would be horrible.

Convenient location to leave for a cruise. Not much shopping or to do near by.

The staff was not very friendly. They did not seem happy in the job. Furniture in the lobby/lounge area is old and in need of new upholstery. Public restroom off the lobby smelled. Drapes and windows in the room were not clean. We were subject to music until after 11:00 p.m. On check-out, elevators were not working. We were led through the laundry area to be stuffed into the service elevator with staff and led through the garage area to the front. This was our first stay here. It was booked by our cruise line. It is usually out of our price range. If this is what they have to offer, I think I will stay elsewhere for less.

I was in town to watch the Pan Am Cup, international women's VB tournament at Univ. of Miami and USAV Girls Junior Olypmic volleyball at the MB Convention Ctr. Everything about the room was great, I only slept and changed there before I went out. I had room serice breakfast every morning and it was great. The pool was great and the pool staff was exceptional with their service and the lunch they fixed me, the best pool experience I have ever had. The fitness center is very, very poor,the cardio machines are all right but the weight lifting equipment and machines are inadeaquate for any serious fitness enthusiast. I suggest making the current fitness ctr room a cardio and core room only and make an entire new room for weight lifting with the addition of more machines, especially lower body and barbells and a squat rack, Consult a professional. Fitness is a big deal for many of us these days. I choose hotels based on their fitness centers. I made a bad choice here.

Do not believe the website because there is no free shuttle to the cruise ships nor free breakfast. Food in restaurant was OK but for the price it should have been better. Do not take a cab ride from the airport to the hotel, it was $40.00. There was an event at the arena and resulted in high cab ride. Obviously, the cab drivers are not up to date on the event listings to avoid the area. Room was excellant but paid for a view of the bay, but the windows were dirty and could not see the view. If you are looking for a good hotel to stay in before a cruise, this is the one but eat at Checkers across the street from the hotel.

The service was excellent with clean facilities and an outstanding and helpful staff. Well decorated interiors, good location and not too pricey. The exterior could use face lift. The hotel rooms had dirty windows but that was the most I can say that I didn't like about my hotel stay. For the price, you cannot beat. The location was perfect located downtown Miami not to far from the restaurants and Miami beach with an excellent view of the city from all angles. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Miami FL.

We stayed at this hotel while in the Miami area in order to save some money. It was a little cheaper staying in this downtown Miami location than in a hotel in Miami beach if you consider the parking cost. If you have a car, it's a very easy to 2 minute drive from this location to South Beach. The hotel was very clean, had a great flat screen tv and the beds were very comfortable. The pool looked really good too eventhough we didn't get to use it. It's located on a rooftop since the hotel is in a downtown location. The parking was very convenient as well. Valet parking was a bargain with unlimited in and out and the service was very quick.

We chose this hotel as it offered a package that included transportation to the ports (hotel is 10 minutes from the port) and a buffet breakfast for 2. For the overall price we paid I feel we received a good deal. The hotel is located in a so-so area of the city. Since we were only staying one night, we were not looking to venture out. The hotel itself is very nice and the desk staff were very freindly and courteous. The rooms were very spacious and clean. When we arrived it was in the evening. We went to the hotel restaurant/bar to eat as there was only one place located close to hotel to eat at (Checkers). The choices here were okay, the food was good, but the service a bit slow. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of choices and our only issue was the food that should have been hot was warm at best. Note, the fruit was very good. Overall, for the purpose of our trip this hotel was worth staying at. If in Miami again for the same reason we would look to stay here.

When I arrived, I checked in and the manager confirmed my room request and check day and time. We let the the lobby and proceeded to our room. We requested 2 beds, the room had only one. I went back to the lobby and instead of the manager apologizing, he stated that since I booked trough CheapTickets.com that he really did not have to give me what I paid for. He was absolutely rude and unprofessional. Plus, the fire alarm went off constantly 2 of the 4 days I was there. BAD EXPERIENCE!

We were here for 3 nights, fortunate to get a room on the top floor, fantastic view of the bay and cruise ships coming in and out. If your looking for a place to stay before your cruise, this is the place. Beds were fantastic, room overall was very clean, and pool is great Only complaint would be the lobby restaurant and lounge were very boring. Place was sold out but no one to be found.

excellent location for downtown next to free people mover (metro)and for trips to Everglades and Key West.Also great views of three bridges linking the southside to downtown. as always with Hilton there is excellent breakfast buffet. one small fly in the ointment - only non-working wired internet in the room and wifi confined to the lobby.
