We asked for a king room when the reservation was made, we received 2 twin beds. We went back down to front desk to see if maybe we were given the wrong room type by accident. The lady at the front desk told us that we got exactly what we asked for. Despite the copy of the reservation confirmation that I had with me that clearly stated otherwise. She claimed that they don't see room types on the reservations in their system so there was nothing that she could do. It was very clear that she wasn't going to help in any way. Not wanting to let it ruin our night, we returned back up to room. I went into the restroom to get a drink of water and noticed a very large clump of hair clinging to the shower wall, it was accompanied by the soap and shampoo that had been used by the previous occupants of the room. Again, I returned back down stairs and asked to be moved, I was told the hotel was full and nothing could be done. I asked to see a manager, after waiting almost 20 minutes, no one ever came to talk with me. The air conditioner didn't work either, it was so hot neither of us slept more than half the night. Checking out the next morning was no better, 2 guests were arguing about how to split the bill, several employee's of the hotel were standing at the bell desk having a great time talking while the check out line grew longer and longer and longer. After it got about 8 couples deep, someone finally decided to grace us with their presence and opened another line. We couldn't have gotten out of this property fast enough.

Willingness to move me to a room with a king bed. Price of room service was quite high. This was a beautiful hotel with wonderful employees. They were very courteous and willing to accommodate our requests. It was close to the entertainments of Salt Lake and we very much enjoyed our stay!

The room was clean and spacious. The cleaning service was wonderful. Everything was great!

Although it was just an overnight, the hotel had everything I could hope for when I needed it. Nice pool, fitness center, afternoon coffee, good breakfast, newspaper, and friendly staff.

Friendly staff and good location in downtown SLC. Somewhat cold furnishings.

Rooms were very small and bathroom was not properly cleaned. Toilet overflowed and took 2 calls (and two hours) to get help. Bed comfortable.

Very accessible to the Salt Palace Convention Center. Very clean, nice big rooms, very quiet. Great community and nice restaurants nearby within walking distance.

Did not represent a 4 Star hotel that I expected. Older property with mediocre furnishings, design and comfort.

Front Desk personell need to be better trained. I walked all over before finding someone that could tell me where my room was. And of course it was on the other side of the hotel. Rooms were clean. Hot water was scarce. Beds were great. Need better employees.

The Hilton Salt Lake City Center was a nice hotel with prompt, helpful & friendly staff. The two double-bed room was clean (as was the entire hotel) and spacious. The bathroom was also clean with an appropriate shower head (no harsh water-saver unit). The hotel's parking was conveniently underground and the hotel is centrally located with many retaurants close by. I would stay again.

Tried to use the Express Check in Kiosk, but got into a loop on upgrading our room. Was told by front desk only certain rooms are given to Travel website bookings ... not sure what to make of that comment. Waited in line to get registered while 3 other front desk people were just standing around the one doing the work. First room we were given, someone was still staying there. It was a pain to take luggage up to the room, find it being lived in, go back to the desk, get another room, and go back up. Pool was okay - tile VERY slick, and alot of chlorine was in use - burned the kids eyes. Exercise room was pretty cool though. Parking is open to anyone in downtown SLC - get there early to park on a Friday or Saturday or you're SOL. Also note - you pay for parking in addition to your room rate. Could look past these things if staff were more people/customer oriented. We got more information from the Garage Attendant than we did the Front Desk. Disappointed in a Hilton Property - they always look nice, but this one has an unfriendly environment.

The Hilton Salt Lake was a nice modern facility. Room was nice, staff very nice. Food service was barely satisfactory. Evening dining was limited to a very expensive Old Men's Club type restaurant. Breakfast was expensive and the hours for the cafe were limited. Best thing is that it's close to the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Staff was excellent. The staff are warm, friendly and desiring to help in any way, top notch all around, made my stay a pleasure.

"The hotle was nice but the people were not nice in the lobby. If you pay that much you expect at least a person who is polite. We had three in a room and no toilet tissue, two cups of coffee. The bathroom was not very clean, not the best shower I've ever had On the bright side, the newspaper delivery every morning was great."

"This hotel is nice if you're on an expense account. Rooms are good but overpriced. Van to airport, Internet, breakfast all extra. Food too expensive. Stay here only if you need to get rid of extra money."

We stayed extra day but had to switch motels. Little America was an excellent experience, Hilton not so much. Hilton not so much, noisy, not as clean, parking unfriendly expensive. Little America is an excellent place to stay, friendly clean and great location.
