The service was outstanding, rooms were large and very clean in an old-world Milwaukee-style hotel. The Hilton was located within walking distance of the river walk, good food, shopping and public museum. The woman serving my room, [...], was especially great in bringing me cold-packs on a migraine-day. There were a few disappointments, however, that I wish I had been prepared for. First, the pool/waterpark was not included with the room fee; I was visiting with a friend and my younger sister who has Down Syndrome, we had been looking forward to having fun for an hour or two in the evening in the waterpark but were surprised by the extra $50/day charge for which we had not budgeted and decided to pass on. The website and [...] info listed a "pool" was an amenity of this hotel and had been one of my criterions. Secondly, there were very limited number of Cable Channels; we are Tour-de-France fans and were unable to watch in the evenings, also had very few choices to watch on our rest-in-the-hotel evening without going to Pay-per-view. Overall, this was one of the best hotels I've been in, but it did not totally meet my expectations.

Great lobby, great location, comfortable beds and fantastic dining inside hotel. Expensive restaurant, customer service poor. Excellent hotel for Milwaukee events. The location is a prime spot, can't get much better. Only downfall was customer service was a little poor. My room phone never worked and front desk said it with be ready in 30 seconds but it was never fixed.

Stayed here with some friends for a Bucks game and had a great time. I was a little nervous when booking as I had the condition of the hotel was a little rundown, but I guess I can understand that considering the hotel was built in the 1920's! With that in mind, I found the Hilton to be very charming with the architceture and such. Yes, it's an old building, but I doubt the hotel itself can do much to change the fact that it's a building thats over 90 years old. Our room was small, but we just needed beds to sleep in. :) We stopped into the Miller Tiime Pub before and afer the game and had a great time. Several of the bartenders enjoyed talking sports with us and were more than knowledgable when it came to recommending "must see" place in Milwaukee. I laughed when my buddy tried to order a budweiser at a bar called "The Miller Time Pub." He was out of luck, but once again, the staff and I had a good joke about the whole thing. Great food, and decent drink prices considering we were downtown and at a hotel bar. Crowd in the bar seemed to get a little "rowdy" at times, but no fault on the bartenders part. They kept their cool and really tried their hardest to make sure everybody there was having a good time. Will definately stay here again next time Im in town. Waterpark seemed a little pricey, So if you have small children, maybe not the best place if you're looking for a pool. But a great getaway when you're just looking to have fun in Milwaukee.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Hilton City Center, and on both occasions we were in town for a Brewer game. And on BOTH occasions we got to the hotel later after the game (around 9 or 10pm), to find out that our reserved room was no longer available. Last year we were pleasantly given an upgrade, however this year we were given a small, one double bed room (when we had reserved 2 double beds). This was not acceptable, so they DID find a 2 Double bed room availabe in the smoking section, which we begrudgingly took. I'm especially peeved because I had called early that morning to notify them that we would be checking in late after the game, and yet our reserved room was STILL given up. I will never stay here again, simply due to this fact that I cannot rely on showing up and having a room. I think that is horrible service.

We stayed in June during the busy season. The staff was nice. The view was magnificent. It rained a lot during the stay so it was nice to be able to order from local food places. Domino's will deliver to your room for a small delivery fee. The price was reasonable. The real pleasure was the indoor water park. The kids loved it! It was so easy to access. It offered a jacuzzi and several staff monitored the children while you relaxed. We had a memorable time and we will return next June.

I loved this hotel. We stayed there twice now within a 2 week period. We are avid concert goers and this hotel is at a close distance to The Rave and Summerfest grounds. Staff was awesome, even the cleaning ladies! Only had one little problem with the ATM there but is really not connected to The Hilton. One of the conciare (spelled wrong) was a bit rude but other than that we will probably make this our hotel of choice now when we go to Milwaukee. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent location. Parking fees. The hotel was an excellent example of totally restored art deco architecture. The hotel was made in 1928, but it looks like it was just yesterday. There are many shops and a nice bar in the restaurant area. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious and the hallways are quiet and clean.

This hotel is really beautiful with rooms that are a little on the old side but with quality linens and exceptional staff. Room service was excellent. Rooms were hot at night and we were not able to lower the heat or open a window for fresh air.

The location was perfect for our travel plans. Only a short $10 cab ride (plus tip) to Miller's Park, a 10 minute walk to the lake, and close to the casino. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and despite our room located next to the entrance to the floor it was very quiet. The Steakhouse had a fantastic happy hour, great appetizers and drink specials and the sports bar across the way was great (the wings were very good!). I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was parking, I didn't know our only option was a pay lot which was $24 a night. But it was in a covered garage with security gates.

Bell Hop lost one of our bags on way to room, but we found it in baggage storage later. Room was small and adjacent room not sound proof. Good location to walk to riverwalk and restaurants. Consierge wasn't available to us while there, and parking cost $24/ night, but hotel cost was good.

We were in Milwaukee for the Sox/Brewers game. Miller Park was great. The hotel was filled with Sox fans. Our room was large; however, the t.v. was very small and the bathroom was small and hard to get ready in. It was a beautiful night, so we walked around the city, ate dinner outside, visited a few establishments and had a great time. We didn't have time to check out any of the hotel's amenities. We stay at this hotel quite often when in the area and are never disappointed.
