I was returning for my 20th class reunion and opted to stay in a hotel versus the dorms. The hotel was great! It was clean - centrally located and the staff was very personable and accomodating. The hotel was one of the many things that made my reunion a huge success. I am actaully thinking about returning again next year! My parents wished for a place this nice in the L-A area for parent's weekend!!! To all the Bates Parents/Prospective Families -- this hotel is the nicest in the area BY FAR - Look no further! I would highly recommend the hotel!!! To prospective students - - Bates is even better today than when I went there!! I loved the school and would make the same decision about where to go to college today! Some of my closest friends are the friends I met a Bates!! It is a wonderful place to spend your 4 years.

I love coming back to Auburn Maine to visit with my children and grandchildren which I miss but have to live in the warm climate. I also enjoy the Hilton Garden Inn because it is very clean and the service is great. The people that work at the desk and the maintenance people when you meet them in the hallway are very enjoyable to talk to. They always have a smile on their faces and also the cleaning service always has extra towels if I need them. I have never been in a room at the Garden Inn that I had problems with and that means alot to me when it comes to staying at any hotel. The pressure in the shower is excellent and the sheets are always very clean and not stained. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is planning on coming to Auburn Maine for any event or travel or just to visit family and then be able to go back and relax at night for the length of the stay.

The Hilton Garden is in a great location for Auburn, Me.The room was large and clean with the exception of the bath room .There was red grimy stuff in the grout of the shower and the toilet had not been throughly cleaned.Very disappointed! The rest of the room was very clean and the furniture was in great condition.While in the room, you could here the doors of other guest rooms closing and seemed loud with an echo. This Hotel had lots of things for the last minute or stranded traveler... all the usuals plus room service INTERNET movies and Nintendo and a restaurant in the lobby (That i would have liked to see open later.) and the service was very attentive.

We live in Auburn but chose a night at the Hilton Garden for an anniversary treat. We had a nice king room with a great view of the falls. There are several restaurants within walking distance and the chain restaurants are 2 miles up the road. We had a basic buffet breakfast that was hot and tasty. Recommend to anyone staying in the area.

this hotel is located so it is easy to get around.There are a few highway just blocks away. The room was larger than I expected and the riverview was a pleasure.The pool area was clean,and busy.I did not use the pool as it was a crowded area this week.The fitness center was well equiped and clean,It's location was a good area.The business center was clean,assesable,and well stocked with office supplies.

I've stayed that the Hilton Garden 5-6 times and my stays have always been enjoyable. The view of the falls is a nice feature, the cookies in the evening are a great treat and the facility is a few years old, clean and very comfortable. The only criticism is that the service in the restaurant is consistently slow (but friendly).
