It was a very nice hotel with a friendly staff. Everything was perfect except for the room's AC, it was not cool enough, but I addressed the problem and they put us in another room which was cooler.This is a great location, it is near Old Scottsdale where many good restaurants and shopping is available. You can even walk there, it is so close. The highways and Sky Harbor airport are very close and easy to get to. Anyway I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Scottsdale area.

The restaurant staff. Jacuzzi was luke-warm. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. it was fun to walk to old time Scottsdale and ride the trolley.

"The first room had moldy smell and the carpets were stained. Also, I found a dirty underwear on the closet?s floor. Tried to get another room, but was denied because hotel was full. I asked to speak to the manager, but he was not present. Told them that both incidents were not commensurable to the Hilton?s brand. Later that night a much better room became available. "

Great location right in the middle of Old Scottsdale. Great location right in the middle of Old Scottsdale. Currently the hotel is remodeling so some of the public areas were a bit messy. Their wireless system was a bit confusing.

"Dining ""area"" was just off front door, drafty and brightly lit. We ate in bar which has 2 big screen t.v.s blasting. When asked if they could turn them down was told ""a little"". Order was wrong, server blamed kitchen without offering to fix. LOUD heater in room."

I thought the Hilton Garden Inn was adequate and comfortable for the price. It was not anything special but what I expected for the price. They had great breakfast and the staff was courteous so that made the experience worth it! Also, the location is great. It is right in Old Town which makes it very convenient if you are going to enjoy the nightlife of all of the happening spots.

"Dining ""area"" just off the front door brightly lit so went to bar instead. There were 2 T.V.s blaring ""CSI"" in small space, asked if they could be turned down, bartender said ""a little"". The 2 other people in bar trying to talk to over the T.V. obviously weren't interested. Recieved order, wrong, bartender blamed it on kitchen. What's the point of blaming? Ceiling fans going, freezing but didn't want to say anything because of T.V. reaction. Loud heater in room. Only alternative for breakfast was $9.99. Light eater? Too bad. Need employee training classes."

room svc: short hours & their veggie wrap is not edible; the iron leaked rusty water on a white blouse; the narrow halls made us think that the exterior has gone through a face lift of an older hotel. The lobby restaurant was only available for breakfast.

Great location. The rooms were newly remodeled and clean. Breakfast buffet was a little pricey. The end rooms had a little street noise. Great hotel for business or leisure. We took our family of 5 with a 9, 4 & 1 year olds. The pool was basic, but perfectly adequate. We were able to walk to shopping, farmer's market, restaurants and galleries within a couple blocks. A very short drive to even more restaurants and very large shopping mall. The hotel is newly remodeled and very clean with microwaves and refrigerators in all the rooms. The breakfast buffet was a little pricey. Great hotel for inexpensive, but very nice accommodations in a great area.

4 blocks from SF Giants Spring Training! Nothing - great place. This hotel is absolutely perfect if you are in Scottsdale for Giants' Spring Training. It about four blocks away from the Ball Park, within walking distance of shopping, great food and fun night life. The staff was fabulous - all in all a perfect hotel!

The Architecture was appauling. The crapeting gave us nightmares. There was a continuous hum throughout the night. alarms went off twice. We were totally turned off by the outrageously poor architecture, unappealing entrance to hotel with no accommodation for luggage handling, etc, outrageouse carpeting, funeral black-out curtains without drapery of any kind to soften the blacknend wall. Alarms went off twice during the night and the room had a continuous hum - pluming, electical? throughtout the night. While the hotel claimed a restaurant it was not in operation when we arrived and only a minimal $11 breakfast buffet was available the following morning. Room service rates were outrageous. While the price was okay we will not return to this hotel.
