We called to inquire about parking. We were told there was valet and it was $29 per night if we were guests at the hotel. When we checked out the next morning, they charged us $44. When we asked them to correct the charge, they were rude and while they gave us a receipt for $29, our credit card was later billed three times for the parking and we have yet to receive the refund.

Excellent location, very good staff. Nothing. Our room was very clean which is one of the most important things for me. The EL train was right outside the main entrance and Michigan Ave was only two blocks away. The desk staff, bellman and cleaning staff was all pleasant and helpful.

Staff (Front Desk) gave great directions for walking and using public transportation. Check out The Navy Pier & RainForrest Cafe if you have kids. The only negative thing about the hotel is there are only 3 elevators for 23 floors. Big convention was in town and sometimes took 15-20 minutes of waiting for an elevator.. by this time there were extremely long lines. This happened throughout the entire weekend. Nice clean rooms, friendly and knowledgable staff and an indoor pool.

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. They directed us to local restaurants, nightlife, and tourist sites with a smile. We could walk to most of the sites that we wanted to see in downtown Chicago, and there were many cabs in the area as well if it was too far of a walk to something we wanted to do. Great hotel for a reasonable price.

the hotel would not honor any Hilton upgrades, points or other Gold Card benefits because I booked and prepaid through Orbita. if you hae a hotel or airline card, DO NOT USE Orbitz as you will lose all benefits.

Great location and overall quality. The items for sale in the lobby were grossly overpriced. The hotel was well-located and was in good condition. The staff was friendly and the overall appearance of the property was nice. As with most (if not all) hotels in the City, parking was extremely high priced as was the items for sale in the lobby.

This hotel was above and beyond what I expected. Parking garage right next door made it convienent as the unpredictable weather of Chicago wasn't the greatest. Front desk was very friendly and willing to answering any and all questions. I would definately stay here again, recommend it to others, and plan on staying there next time I am in Chicago.

The hotel staff was very friendly and always willing to help us with whatever we needed. As someone who was unfamiliar with Chicago, the front desk and concierge were always available with maps and directions. The location of the hotel was great. We could walk to most of the sites we wanted to go to, the red line subway was right outside the hotel, and the bus stops were close by as well. Close to Michigan Avenue shopping. I would definitely stay there on my next trip to Chicago.

would just like to start off with that this was suppose to be a family getaway, as my 2 children have never been to chicago and was very excited and was looking so forward to a nice stay and the shedd aquarium. as for it going that way was a different story, first of all i booked through orbitz for the first time 2 weeks early and when we arrived at 3pm to check in we had to wait an hour to get a room as the room i booked was not available, i asked desk clerk how this could happen and she said we cannot guarantee through 3rd party [orbitz] i wasnt happy! trying to keep 2 restless kids in a lobby with nothing to do for an hour is ridiculous! not only was the desk clerk rude but she also made reference that we should go wait around corner from lobby! once we got into room the room was not cleaned properly the maid had to come back 2 times to bring things to room that she had forgot while cleaning, the mini fridge did not work as i brought lots of drinks from home for my kids they were not able to keep cold! overall this wasnt a good experience and i will think twice about recommending or going through orbitz again!

My husband and I were in Chicago for our son's graduation from Navy basic training. I booked this hotel simply on the reviews I read here at Travelocity. The reviews gave the hotel a 4 rating I give it a 5. The staff were very pleasant and professional. The room was very, very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The Weber Grill restaurant is accessible via the lobby and is who provides the room service menu. The location of the hotel was within walking distance or a short taxi ride to everything. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Chicago.

I would have liked to have a shuttle that would take you to places around town, then a number to be called when you needed a ride back...for the amount they charge for the room, there should be a little more friendly amenities....otherwise it was a great room, great bed, nice views...close enough to go to places around town...

We stayed for Presidents weekednd. A perfect location and place for our family (2 teen boys) and taste. A very good value. Be sure to eat at the Billy Goat just a few blocks away and order a Cheesborger and Coke. After seeing several not so favorable reviews of the Hotel's attached Weber Grill, we were stunned, the service was outstanding, the food great and the price reasonable. We'd go back in a minute and wish we had one of these joints in MN. The burgers, steaks, sides and Valentines Day special were excellent, especially the skirt steak my wife had All in all, you cannot go wrong here.

Went downtown for a one night get-a-way and this hotel did not disappoint. It was in a great location, close to shopping and Navy Pier. Check out the free trolley system. We used the trolleys a few times to get around. The only one that runs late is the blue line to and from Navy Pier, it literally drops you off at the front of the hotel. If not, it is about a 10 cab ride (with tip). The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and friendly. They will store your bags for you before check in and even after you check out if you want to do some site seeing. The rooms were a decent size, they look like the photos on their website (white comforters, desk, flat screen, etc), bathrooms were not huge, but that is not necessary. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely stay here again!

Had a well appointed double queen room on the 21st floor. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave, along with internet connection and luxury bedding. The bed is a pillow-topper and was shear heaven. The other reviewers are correct that the elevators were small and slow, but that is a very minor issue unless you are there with a convention in town. The staff was friendly and accommodating, offering help about how to get arounnd Chicago even before being asked. The maps and tourist information supplied was very useful. The hotel is located near really great shopping and dining opportunites - nordstrom's is literally across the street.

This hotel is in an excellent location. Many restaurants are very close and if shopping is on your list Michigan Avenue is steps away. Actually, Nordstroms is within sight and we just walked through there and onto Michigan Avenue. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Anytime we were in the lobby we were spoken to and asked if we needed any help. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We had a refrigerator and microwave which made it very nice as we bought drinks to carry with us. The only thing that was bad,,,,really bad,,,was the restaurant that is attached to the hotel. Weber Grill it is called. We ate there and the food was terrible, unfit for consumption. The waiter that served it even agreed, but we were charged anyway. My husband convinced me that it was just bad timing and that it was just a glitch. Not so, I'm a sucker so we went back and I swear it was worse than the first time. So my advice would be, the hotel a definite yes for the rating category that it falls into but avoid the restaurant. Oh yeah,,,it was our first time to Chicago and we loved it!
